    Refreshing
My favorite Star Wars podcast out there. It’s so refreshing to listen to a Star Wars podcast who appreciates how blessed we are to have such great content for us all to enjoy and not nitpick everything that’s wrong with the new stuff. Keep up the great work fellas!

    My favorite podcast!
This is my favorite podcast! I really enjoy the way that Alex and Mac share their enthusiasm for Star Wars and their knowledge of the galaxy far, far away. Alex’s analysis of storytelling and Mac’s insights on the technical side of creating television shows combine to produce an informative podcast. My fiancé and I look forward to every episode drop, and we discuss the podcasts on a regular basis. Axis

    10/10 Star Wars Podcast
I’m a huge fan of how Alex and Mac break everything down from Andor, which is easily my favorite Star Wars content I’ve ever seen. It’s super accessible and they have immaculate vibes. And just like Axis, they definitely have friends everywhere.

    # ⭐️ ANDOR OBSESSED and LOVING IT! #ThisIsTheWay 🚀 OMG FELLOW STAR WARS FANS! I've found absolute PODCAST GOLD with "Children of the Watch" and I can't stop listening! 😍 Alex and Mac break down EVERY SINGLE SCENE with such passion that I've caught details I completely missed while watching! Their Andor coverage is next-level AMAZING - the way they connect all the dots between characters like Cassian, Mon Mothma, and Luthen to the larger Star Wars universe has me SHOOK! 🤯 Their positive, upbeat energy is SO refreshing in the sometimes toxic Star Wars fandom - these guys genuinely LOVE the franchise and it's contagious! That episode breaking down the Season 2 trailer? I literally had to pause and rewatch Andor with completely new eyes! 👏 Their weekly deep dives into Star Wars storytelling, canon, and hidden details have become my absolute addiction - whether you're deep into Star Wars lore or just getting started, these guys make EVERYONE feel welcome! I'm now religiously calling their voicemail hotline after each episode drops! #KeepTheWatch #AndorObsessed #StarWarsTV #RixRoad #RebelAlliance *frantically refreshing for new episodes while practicing my rebel manifesto* P.S. Axis (gotta get that contest entry in!) 😉

Hands Down the Best in the Galaxy
Listen, if you’re a Star Wars fan and a fan of the recent shows and you’re not listening to COTW, you’re messing up big time. Alex and Mac breakdown everything in a way that makes Star Wars approachable, easy to understand and fun for listeners of all knowledge levels. It’s like hanging out with two of your best friends who know way too much about Star Wars in the best way. This podcast is truly the AXIS on which Star Wars commentary should rotate.

    Diggin it
Recently joined the Axis crew here, right at the Rebellion 101 episode. Appreciate that ep, plus the timestamp jumps for non-spoilers, as not all of us can manage time to watch all 3 Andor eps at once. Good breakdowns, thoughts, & tie-ins to clarify parts, as the show is meaty. Keep the watch!

If you’re looking for more ways to spend time int he Star Wars Universe, you’ve found it! I started listening while Ahsoka was coming out and now I never miss an episode! Mac and Alex are amazing hosts, funny and knowledgeable and easy to listen to for hours on end. You learn all sorts of Star Wars knowledge and they are sooo good at finding Easter eggs and explaining every one. My favorite thing is their overall positivity for ALL Star Wars, there is no Fandom Menace here. I recommend this pod to everyone I know. Keep the Watch!

The Yavin 4 of podcast communities
If you’re looking for a podcast community where you will be welcome as you are and feel the warmth of being around friends, drinking revnog, and playing space dominoes; this is the podcast community for you. Alex and Mac do an excellent job of reviewing Star Wars shows. I have been listening since Mandalorian and have found them to be the best of the podcasts since Ahsoka. When Andor Season 2 started and I found myself trying to process the volume and intensity of each week’s 3 episode drops, I went back to CoTW because I needed to feel like I wasn’t alone in experiencing the best television of my lifetime. There Mac and Alex were, embracing silliness and brotherhood, while also covering the high volume of content the Tony Gilroy team were giving us and connecting to all Star Wars history and lore. I decided to support their efforts by becoming a Patreon member, which gave me access to the discord server. (I could have done a play on words here and put in Axis as the code word to be enrolled in their 5 star review contest, but I don’t want to win over someone else). The discord server for CoTW is just as enjoyable as the podcast with a whole bunch of folks who found their way there as well. I’ve found community and friendship in the short time I’ve been on the server in a way that is missing from all the other online Star Wars spaces. The toxicity of the fandom is absent in the CoTW spaces. Everyone is welcome so long as you’re respectful and ready to enjoy things. I’m terribly sad that Andor is over, but I feel like I was given two incredible gifts. I have a show that I will always love and cherish and now I have a place to enjoy all things Star Wars with real friends. This is because Mac and Alex have done something truly special and rare. This is a podcast and community for all of us rebels and outcasts—even those of us who don’t watch the recaps unless Thrown is in the show (lol). Give the podcast a listen and join the rebellion. Keep the watch.

    Really cool Star Wars dudes
There are so many spaces to find Star Wars discussion, but as far as I am concerned this is the best little corner of the galaxy. Alex and Mac are my kind of crew, they have such a fun time nerding out on all things Star Wars (TV). I discovered them on a season 1 Mando rewatch and have been following ever since. Keep up the great work yall! Axis

What a Delicious Star Wars Dive!
There is a wound that won’t heal at the center of the galaxy. And if you want to have a hilarious, thoughtful romp through the wilderness of Star Wars to find out what that wound is…and how it’s healing…this is the show to listen to. The explorations of character motivation and the Star Wars universe are deep and fascinating and hilarious. They bring all the joy back we first experienced when we entered this galaxy far, far away. A long time ago for some of us. Some of us spin on this Axis of the dark side and the light side our whole lives. Always with two moons on the horizon. Always with the force at our back. Thank you for all your generous Andor coverage & seeing this show for the gift it is to us lifelong fans. Thanks for being my Star Wars buddies on this journey. “Squire Alex and “Nemik” Mac …you rock! May the force be with you.

    My go-to Star Wars pod!
I always look forward to this podcast every week after watching the latest episode of Star Wars TV. These guys are extremely knowledgeable about everything Star Wars and always make sure not to leave people behind when talking about anything outside of the nine major films and even then they’ll remind you and give you context. Excellent show! Axis would be proud

An amazing podcast to share the love of Star Wars
I came across this podcast back during the Ahsoka series and have been a listener ever since. Their breakdowns are so fun, and I love how they include the listeners. If you love Star Wars, you want to follow COTW! (Axis)

Great listen to get more Star Wars content!

    Amazing Podcast
This podcast is the AXIS of everything star wars. The hosts are great and they bring positivity and light to a galaxy far far away. I also appreciate their inclusion of fan voices through their voice mails and email episodes. Makes me feel like a part of the podcast too. This is the way!

My Go-To Star Wars TV Podcast
This show is a great companion to Star Wars television, and I tune in to listen to their discussion of every Star Wars episode. Alex and Mac take Star Wars serious enough to dive deep into the shows and discuss connections with other Star Wars media, without taking it so seriously that they spoil the fun of it all. These guys know, read, and watch just a little bit more Star Wars media than I do, so I always get something from their episodes. This show is one of the primary AXIS around which my Star Wars viewing revolves.

Star Wars Podcast that Keeps Me in My Happy Place
Star Wars is my happy place. I love it all and I love experiencing the different stories in different mediums. But too many Star Wars podcasts seem to think that being negative towards the franchise is what “fans” want to hear. I guess it’s more fun to nitpick and be negative. I don’t want that from my happy place content. So I cancelled my previous subscriptions and found Children of the Watch.. the axis of positive, while still objective, Star Wars analysis. Great show! If you want to keep your Star Wars experience positive, drop the rest and just listen to this show!
  • Preludes and Nocturnes
This podcast is the Fulcrum, the Axis if you will, of the Star Wars Community
Used this podcast to refresh and dive deeper into to season one while I set up to watch season 2. Ended up doing the patreon and joining the conversation on their Discord server as well. Thoughtful, a little bit of fanboy action, but really a fun listen.

    Gold (Squandron) Standard Podcast
I’m SO GLAD I found COTW at the beginning of Andor season 2. The episodes have a depth and breadth of discussion that is light years ahead of anyone else. The three episode drops of S2 showed the limitations and inadequacies of other creators I used to count on. COTW gave every episode the time and care that they deserve putting me at the axis of the current story and how it links up with other Star Wars content. BRAVO!!!

The Star Wars Community we deserve
I’ve been listening to CotW since Mandalorian season 2, and something I always come back for is the overall positive vibes that Mac and Alex give to the Star Wars fan base. They give honest reviews, acknowledge some things could be better but have the same philosophy that I have always held about Star Wars - no matter what it is I’m always going to enjoy it! Now that we have a pivotal show back in action I do feel like the axis could shift for Star Wars and we will hopefully get more shows of Andor’s caliber for them to break down.

    Star Wars with FAMILY
Forever grateful for this podcast. I first started looking for a podcast to better understand and find some clarity towards the end of Mando season 3. Fear for what was to come when Mando got captured and Paz went down 🫡 I went back and rewatched all the Star Wars content and listened to every episode already available. I joined the Patreon group and found a community that is always very welcoming and nothing but great vibes. We are here at the end of Andor and no one better to discuss and listen to then Alex and Mac! The beauty of Star Wars is seeing how we have friends everywhere! #axis

A must listen for any Star Wars fans
I’ve been listening to this show since season 1 of The Mandalorian. It is without a doubt the best Star Wars podcast. Alex and Mac do a great job breaking down episodes and getting into the all the background and lore. I look forward to new episodes regardless of the content they’re covering. Axis.

    Favorite Star Wars Podcast
I discovered “Children of the Watch” when Alex and Mac started doing their rewatch of season 1 of “Andor.” It quickly became my go-to podcast for all things “Andor.” I love their excitement, positivity, and thoroughness when they break down episodes. I look forward to listening to them and always learn something new. Keep the Watch! Axis.
  • Noes42
Great, thorough, and optimistic Star Wars podcast. Keep the Watch.
My biggest positive is how positive the hosts are about Star Wars while still maintaining valid criticisms of Star Wars projects. I want to enjoy Star Wars and with the coverage of this podcast, it shows that the hosts do too. In a time where Star Wars is an axis of complaints, deserved or not, I like being excited about examining a Star Wars show and focusing more on the great aspects. Furthermore, the hosts are very knowledgeable and go deep into lore and great theories while maintaining an approachable style for fans that are less experienced with Star Wars. Also a great upload schedule so when I finish three episodes of Andor at 1 in the morning, the podcast is already there to fall asleep to.

    The best Star Wars podcast
COTW is the best Star Wars podcast. They are knowledgeable and curious, positive and insightful, inclusive and community building. My rhythm is to watch a show, then turn to COTW—like hanging with fun friends to enjoy Star Wars in all its forms. If Star Wars is the axis my planet rotates around, then COTW is the transmission breaking through the barrier to to bring down the empire.

    Friends Everywhere
The Axis that keeps wheels turning, the wheels of life is fellowship. Friends. Whether we ever meet or not, speak face to face, shake hands, it doesn’t matter. We are all interconnected in the force. Life. Love. If we could all put down the phone, disconnect, ditch social media, maybe we could see eye to eye instead of possibly living out the rebellion in real life eventually. The Star Wars universe was gifted a wonderful, brilliant show and so grateful to have experienced, yes by myself ( my family is not interested lol) but not alone. My Star Thank you Alex Wars family, people I won’t ever meet but my people nonetheless. The axis turns. Fellowship. Fanship!! Thank you, Alex and Mac for keeping the wheel turning
