I love listening to Alex and Mac break down each new Star Wars show! I started listening when they were covering the Mandalorian season 3, and now I’m going back and listening to all their past breakdowns. In my opinion, their breakdown of Ahsoka was the best. Children of the Watch is my absolute favorite (and the galaxy’s best) Star Wars podcast, and I have been listening to them every week for about a year. I appreciate the scene by scene breakdowns of every Star Wars show that they do, as they always pick up on details and connections that I missed on the first watch of something. After listening to CotW, I always appreciate every aspect of a Star Wars show more, from the music, to the acting and directing, to the lore connections, and so much more. Definitely check it out. The only thing that compares to my excitement level when watching a new Star Wars property is listening to Alex and Mac break it all down in an easily digestible manner while also pointing out Easter eggs and tiny things that I may have missed on my first watch. Thoughtful and positive discussions about all things in the canon of Star Wars and zany lighthearted speculations are to be found when you listen to Children of the Watch. The hosts Mac and Alex have excellent chemistry for being so young in the podcast game, and with utmost politeness and professionalism all around. The connections they make to the surrounding Disney and Legends canon is enlightening. What I love most is that the podcast always throw it to the listeners for their thoughts and theories, and never tear their opinions down. While not always an active listener, admittedly, I never regret tuning in to Children of the Watch. So, in conclusion, to paraphrase the scallywag SM-33: Aye! …aye.

Absolutely LOVE Alex & Mac; their recaps are spot on and an absolute must if you like having a post-watch follow-pod. They never miss a beat, and combined with their unparalleled knowledge of Star Wars, the EU and general fiction/non-fiction at large, it makes for an educational experience every single time. Awesome podcast for Star Wars fans! As a lifelong fan that doesn’t know as much of the Star Wars lore, it’s so fun to get so much more information from this podcast!

I’ve been listening for years now and I look forward to new episodes almost as much as I look forward to new Star Wars episodes! These guys have such a great energy that is so lively and positive it makes me excited for anything they talk about. They also do a great job of explaining Star Wars for people who are newer to the fandom. Skeleton Crew has been a blast with them, Aye Aye!

There are lots of great Star Wars podcasts out there, but this is the only one that I can listen to with my eight-year-old son, and that makes it so much more enjoyable for me. I found Children of The Watch many years ago when I first started watching the Mandolorian and was looking for more content. I love this podcast and it adds so much depth to the shows. I look forward to listening to both episodes every week and will even put off watching a Star Wars episode to make sure I am fully caught up on the podcast, they truly go hand in hand. Five years ago when this podcast started, I was at work, looking for something good to listen to. I scrolled through a lot of podcasts, including ones that many people had recommended to me. And then that’s when I stumbled across the Mandalorian Watch. I never knew that I was going to enjoy a podcast so much. If you love Star Wars, this is the place to be. This podcast is my number one go to for anything Star Wars related. I have listened to them since day one and will continue to listen until they are done. Alex and Mac are by far the most entertaining, positive, supportive and enjoyable people to listen to. I tend to not be critical and just enjoy my Star Wars content, and their true love of the genre allow me to do that. They do point out things that don’t make sense but don’t focus on them. Great podcast. I enjoyed it so much. I am one of the OG of Star Wars fan since the first movie A New Hope in 1977. Waited in line for over 3 hours in San Francisco. I was 20 so you know how old I am now.

I stumbled upon this podcast when the Mandalorian S2 was out and haven’t stopped listening since. Alex and Mac know their Star Wars and give a lot of good insight into the latest shows and how they connect with the expanding Star Wars universe. Best part is the hotline episodes full of irresponsible speculation and wild theories about what is coming in the next episodes. Keep the watch. Aye aye!

The peace among the star wars community like in the universe is quite unstable but never here love every episode and the true appreciation of what makes star wars star wars. From the goofy to the nerdy mac and alex know star wars and television quite well. Their abilities are “Most Impressive” aye aye!

I just watched The Holiday Special simultaneously with Mack’s running commentary, and it was just the best thing EVER. I laughed out loud about 10 times throughout.
