    Needs Improvement
I want to love this podcast but it’s delivered so robotically. Gabby has to quickly learn to pause, breathe, accentuate. I mentally check out during the podcast because it’s so monotone.

    lots of room for improvement
She's very passionate & does multiple shows per week, so I tried to cut some slack, but honestly it's a tough listen. Audio quality could be better, but "sign Zack Wheeler" (not a FA) & avoid #2's like "Blake Snell" (while listing Walker Buehler as an ace) is gonna be it for me.

    Vast baseball knowledge but...
Gabby definitely has baseball knowledge, but needs to take some pauses when she talks and change the inflection. Hard to listen when she just goes on and on without pauses (except for ads of course). Maybe just slow down a bit.

    Goodbye for now
I have been listening to this podcast for a long time. I got the tail end of the original guys (forget their names) I was stoked when Gabrielle took it back over only to be disappointed when she, despite knowing her stuff, refused to talk about what was actually going on with the Sox and only released an episode every couple of weeks. Luckily Lauren and Jason came on and saved it! Then Jake came in, Lauren and Jake had amazing chemistry and were both entertaining and informative. When they moved on, Gabby took over. I have been really really trying to give her a chance but 5 months in, I just can’t do it anymore. She says the same thing over and over. I honestly think I hear the same piece of analysis 10 times in one episode sometimes it’s twice in the same sentence. She constantly mispronunces words, misuses words, and misquotes sayings. To top it off her voice is just tough to listen to. She is somehow both yelling and monotone. She pauses several times in every sentence with inflection as if she’s asking a question. So today? … the Red Sox fired?…. Chaim bloom, which I?… think may have been the right decision? I appreciate the passion but I can not listen to the podcast anymore there just isn’t enough quality analysis so I find myself hyperfixating on the voice. It’s tough. I listen to 6 other locked on shows but I can’t do LO Red Sox anymore until we have a new host or at least a cohost.

    Just Okay
The insights are just so so and I have not been listening regularly since the hosts changed. The audio quality is also poor. Gabby’s mic sounds very echoey. I now only listen to select episodes based on specific Sox news.

    Really tried
Tried to like this. She’s very repetitive just saying the same thing in different words throughout each episode. Very little facts givin just a lot of opinion. Sounds like she’s just yelling most the time.
  • Izamazings
    Too laud
She really needs to stop yelling you can take things down multiple notches
  • jveen19
    Repetitive
Episodes can be extremely repetitive covering the same topics multiple times. Also the killer for me was not being able to pronounce Mondesis name correctly. Nitpicking I know but gotta be on point w the basics if you’re gonna talk about it.

    Opinion
Being honest your great you know your stuff!I would appreciate if you could touch upon factual stuff rather then when you think might happen. In the latest episode you talked about the same thing in different words. But I really appreciate this because I love reading different things now I can listen. Can you do an episode about your honest opinion on Chaim Bloom because you liking him has to be a lie.

    I Agree…Unlistenable
I listen to three different locked on podcasts…Cowboys, Nets and Red Sox. I’m amazed how knowledgeable and insightful the hosts of Boys and Nets are…those podcasts are great. The Locked on Red Sox podcast is literally unlistenable…as badly as I want to listen to it because I love my Sox. The observations are very general and basic…very basic. Comments are typically like “if Cutter Crawford throws too many balls it will lead to walks that can lead to runs…which I really, really don’t want.” Wow. You don’t necessarily have to replace her, just get her a co-host that really knows their stuff and would be interesting to listen to. I want to learn something from these podcasts.

    HIGH ON RED SOX
Ok so I was checking out the Red Sox roster and I was like dammm when they get Trevor Story back I think they have a chance to go deep in the play offs. Here is my batting order 1.Duran 2.Story 3.Yoshida 4.Devers 5.Verdugo 6.Turner 7.Casas 8.Duvall 9.Hernandez. Really all they needed earlier was a good shortstop and they will get that with Trevor Story. I think they also have great starting pitching with Bryan Bello, IL Chris Sale, James Paxton, Kutter Krawford, Josh Winckowsky, IL Garrett Whitlock. They also have decent relief pitching with John Schriber💖, Chris Martin, Brennan Bernardino, Joe Jacques, Wyatt Mills, and of course the closer top ten in saves in the MLB . . . Kenley Jansen. So yeah this podcast is great and I think you should talk about their amazing lineup and rotation. I also think that the batting lineup is one of the best in the MLB because they have 2 batters hitting over 300 Jarren Duran and mastaka yoshida, they also have a great power hitter in Rafael Devers and Triston Casas is on the rise with a home run in 3 consecutive games. So I think that y’all should watch out for my Red Sox. July 18th 2023

    Tin cup
Listen, she knows her stuff and I still listen. She can get better with practice. I appreciate that she focuses only on the game and team, unlike other nameless podcasts. But…Gabby needs a new microphone. Sounds like she’s talking into a tin cup. She also needs to stop staying the same thing repeatedly. While it helps to up the recording time, it makes for a boring podcast. She also needs to stop saying “really, really” all the time. Get a thesaurus.

    Great Re-launch
Gabrielle is Great. It’s only been a couple of episodes but I like her insight & knowledge. Looking forward to more!!

I love the concept of a daily podcast, but the analysis is pretty superficial. Would love some more sophisticated discussions.

    Good stuff
I’ve only been listening to podcasts now for a little over a month, and I must say I’m very pleased to have found Lauren & Iggy. Good information about what the Sox are doing on & off the field. I just saw the AL East roundtable podcast & loved it. If you’re a Red Sox fan, this needs to be one of your listens.
  • Matty_Boggs
    Nope
The quality of a YouTuber who sits in front of his camera giving his basic opinions on sports to a dozen viewers. However I’ve only listened to one episode so take that for what it’s worth I guess.

    Unlistenable
This is podcast us unlistenable. It seems each year they seem to find a new host but one after another that don’t seem to know what the are talking about

    Great podcast
Hi this is a great podcast
  • TYLER14051
Excellent & Objective Red Sox Pod
Jason and Lauren keep you caught up without cheering for the home town team. Both hosts are stellar
  • Hdkfur666
    Decent
This is a decent podcast. Love the Red Sox, but I can’t stand how the female host mispronounces “frustrated” at least 2 or 3 times every episode.
  • Foles74
    Horrible
    This is awful baseball talk.

    Great show for Sox fans
Finally a thoughtful daily show! Lauren brings great perspective and Jason has good analysis. Moves along at a great pace.

    Great Re-launch
So glad this podcast has been relaunched, it is meant to have two knowledgeable host. Had to stop listening after Matt and Jake left, it’s back to how it used to be! So happy, this was always my favorite podcast. Thank you for both for giving this junkie his daily fix of Red Sox info!

She know her history and her stats but she loves the humanity of the game

    Very good podcast
I enjoy listening to this podcast. I Love the emotion! Keeping it real for RS Nation! Her stream is well organized and her passion for Red Sox is undeniable :))

    Recap episode
The host does a very good job of recapping games. I like her presentation, but I don’t like the yellow tribute jerseys.
  • Bolthog
    I’m sorry
But WHOMST gave Gabrielle the permission to be THIS good of a host? Who had the audacity, the unmitigated GALL to allow her to be THIS talented? It’s unfair and I’m fed up smh
  • ConnorNewc
    Great pod!
Gabrielle somehow finds a way make the Red Sox seem interesting even though they traded a top 5 player in baseball to save money.....great show!
  • cudakidri
    Needs a co-host
Gabrielle is great! And I love the idea of a daily podcast! But no podcast can be done alone! It’s impossible to have those detailed conversations that makes them worth listening to! This show would be WAY better if they could get a co-host, or even if there could be more frequent guests.
  • aram17
    Good Stuff!
Sox are brutal this year, but Gabrielle helps keep it fun and interesting!
  • The vapor trail
    Great podcast
Thoughtful, intelligent and insightful analysis of my Red Sox. I look forward to listening every day.
  • Simonbotch
    What happened to this podcast?
I do appreciate the effort, but Gabrielle just doesn’t bring any energy to this show. You can clearly tell she’s reading off of a script, word for word. There’s no emotion. I feel like I’m listening to someone in high school reading me an essay they wrote the night prior. On top of this, there’s no deeper analytical insight. I miss the old pairing. I wish Gabrielle the best, but this just isn’t it.
  • Slap Maxwell
    Wonderful Red Sox talk
    Gabrielle knows her stuff
  • thedavidstarr
    Red Sox with Gabrielle Starr
Fantastic analysis. Knowledgeable and entertaining. And kind and thoughtful: she’s the opposite of a blowhard. And funny
  • NickAZ6
    Fun and lively
I enjoy the different segments that alternate between historical moments and current issues, as well as the lively discussions. Gabrielle Starr isn’t afraid to take a position and mix it up on a variety of topics, while also mixing in fun tidbits and throwbacks that make you smile and reminisce. Some of her takes you will agree with, others you won’t! That’s part of what makes talking about sports fun and Gabrielle adds a great perspective and keeps it fresh.

Y does every like Matt and Jake better I like Gabrielle better

    Smile more😂😂
I LOVE this podcast! Thank you for your knowledgeable yet emotionally honest reporting. I almost spit my coffee out this morning listening to you compare the naysayers with men who tell women to “smile more”.... classic.

    New Listener
I don’t like the negative takes on all thing RedSox. I want information on what is happening in spring, not how terrible the owners are. We have four World Series Rings nuff said
  • Mannydjr
    Need the season to start
I’ll be honest to say I miss the old guys. They were atleast opposing views most of the times or they tried to give takes from different angles on every topic they discussed when it made sense. I want to be fair because this is new and all we’ve had to talk about is negative stuff but man does she LEAN in on the negative. Really hoping when the season starts it’s not all season long undertones of disappointment and anger from the trade. It should be a priority of the pod to help us fans move forward and face what we have ahead of us as a unit. I’m tired of being upset
  • Dembums20
    Informative
Great coverage in what is a very emotional time for Sox fans. Loved the conversation. I look forward to more podcasts. No one is gonna replace Mookie but your going to really like Verdugo,as a Dodgers fan I hated to see him leave.

    New Host = Unsubscribe
Sadly, I bid your podcast adieu. I cannot and will not listen to your new host whom I perceive as an elitist whose more interested in getting “likes” on Twitter or Instagram than she is in listening to other people’s opinions without being judgmental.

Start the day with coffee and Locked On
No better way to start the day for Sox Fans than by listening to this Podcast. No BS - short and to the point. Matt and Jake do a great job with the major Sox events of day.

Must listen for Red Sox fans
I love the quick analysis and banter provided in this podcast. Short and sweet, but high quality discussion!

Great hosts on a new show
Just listened to the first two episodes. Show is off to a great start. Been following Jake and Matt’s work for a while and I’m very glad to now have them on a daily Red Sox show. It is certain to be high on content, low on drama and noise.
  • gabejfaulkner
    Great, informative podcast.
Matt and Jake are both very knowledgeable on the team and offer great insight throughout the season. I have enjoyed listening the ‘The Red Seat’ the past couple seasons and can’t wait to listen to this pod this season. I’m even more excited to have a daily Red Sox podcast to listen to as a part of my morning / daily routine.
