    The Best of Its Kind
I listen to a lot of travel hacking and points/miles content and this podcast has come to be the best of the bunch. They explain things in a clearer way than anyone else, not only how to earn and redeem miles, but how to join a community of likeminded people, gather knowledge. They share great knowledge resources and are fun and nerdy about travel planning in a way that speaks to me.

    Need better episode preparation
No one can know everything about the travel industry but please don’t say things like “I don’t know what the world’s largest hotel chain is” or “I don’t know what benefits are available with Choice Privileges.” This is basic preparation. Even if something comes up spontaneously it should not be an issue to pull up the appropriate webpage on the fly.

    Another left wing points blogger
Supporting “miles for (illegal) migrants, talking about how bad it is to see “white” bloggers. To be on the left is to be a racist. Intentions don’t matter, treating people differently according to their skin color is fundamentally racist. Disgusting

Good podcast but allow for more talk across hosts
Enjoy the podcast and it mostly consists of beginner to intermediate/moderate concepts. My biggest critique is that Joe seems to always want to make it all about him. When Angie or the other guests discuss their experiences, Joe just quickly acknowledges it and moves onto his thoughts, experiences, etc. and takes a lot of time discussing his own personal stuff. I understand he is the primary host but he could try to be a little more interested in the other hosts’ experiences rather than being selfish and just always spending time talking about himself and his own experiences.

Enjoying the Joe and Angie dynamic
I’m new to this podcast after spending the last 18 months or so diving deep into points and miles. The AT101 podcast is practical and well-structured, with friendly and accessible hosts. While not relevant to my situation, I could also see how Joe’s experience traveling with a special needs kiddo could be quite helpful to many families. Keep up the good work!

    Loved last episode
Have enjoyed all of the episodes, but this past episode with Joseph’s P2 was the best. As a mother I enjoyed the details of the trip and thoughtfulness that went into their planning. Please share more on your family travel. It is so helpful!
  • No sound when on vibrate ?
Great content but ANNOYING LOUD MUSIC
content is great and hosts are entertaining and informative. I like that the hosts have different perspectives. BUT what is so darn annoying is the LOUD LOUD LOUD transition music that they play every 5 minutes. It’s 10x louder than the voices of the hosts so much I have to rip off my earbuds every time it plays so not to damage my eardrums! SOMEONE please fix the volume!!!

    Too basic
This pod is for beginners. Content is weak and for people just getting started in the hobby. I’d suggest sprinkling in more advanced strategies and topics. Everyone knows about 5/24.

    What happened
This used to be one of the top travel podcasts. The content now is minimal. It feels like it is slowly dying. Something interesting needs to happen.

There use to be some real value in this podcast with Richard. Besides the impression of reading from a script, the podcasts are just not that interesting. There clearly has been a pivot in content direction under new host. Make the podcast about travel and awards, not managing a FB group. Don’t read from a script. Don’t make this miles and pints. You have a captive audience from FB but need to add value here.

    Natural tone missing
Use to really love this podcast but the natural conversational tone of the podcast is now gone since the host switch. It seems like the new host is just reading out loud. I’ll keep coming back but I keep find myself stopping and moving to another show

    More Energy!
As an avid AT101 member and lover of all things points, I enjoy this podcast. Understanding things take time, the podcast does feel much more “scripted” with Jeff whereas with Richard, felt much more natural and had a great flow. Hopefully the more natural feeling comes back in the coming weeks!

    7 days in Europe podcast
I was really excited to listen to your podcast as we are fortunate enough to work points and miles somehow into our Europeon trips and go almost every year. We are actually staying at the Sheraton in Salzburg when we go soon and excited to give a review. We always include Saltzburg and Germany in our trips as we have Family there. We are both born and raised Americans who are well traveled. I am a The Points guy fan and came across your podcast so this was the first one I listened to. Wow! Based on this podcast, I would not want to travel to any of those places based on you and your wife’s commentary. Your wife lead every comment with all the negatives. A lot of complaining in some of the most beautiful places in the world. To be fair, I give you credit for pointing that you should of planned ahead better, and you seemed to come to your wife’s rescue after her negative comments. The first thing people will always remember is the first thing you say, not the last thing you say, so when you lead with negatives every time... As an experienced traveler. I born and raised here in the U.S but worked in the Travel Industry many years , lived abroad and spent many years traveling throughout Europe and I can definitely say Munich and Salzburg are two of the most highly recommended areas to visit. Btw (the Germans do not pronounce Munich Munchin :) ) In your defense , its not easy to say it in German correctly. Europe in the summertime is HOT and full of vacationers so that should of been expected. I tell people to experience the best of Europe, go in Spring and Fall when Temps are mild as some places don’t even have Air Conditioning. Booking bike tours in the summer heat is not recommended unless its early morning. I also recommend for people to bundle up in their favorite winter clothes and go during the Christmas Markets between Thanksgiving and Christmas, It is POSTCARD beautiful and dreamy. You don’t even feel the cold, the beauty takes it away. You went on a very touristy tour in Salzburg, I was surprised you expected it to be anything less than... There are so many fascinating things in Munich and Salzburg, you needed a few more days. The Sheraton Salzburg is a beautiful hotel with a perfect location, its unfortunate you were there during Construction. They are already done with it by the way. I highly highly recommend visiting these 2 most beautiful cities. Also flying business is a privilege most people don’t get to experience. I also never experienced being hot, if anything, I have to dress in layers because the plane is usually freezing. I Am going to listen more of your podcasts maybe this was just a one off...

    Good info. Stop bleeping
Would have rated it higher by the third episode I listened to, they kept bleeping out their kids’ names. Really annoying.

    Advanced Award Traveler’s Best Resource
Richard Kerr's Award Travel 101 team has really come through. I've been a member of his Facebook Community since the beginning and have benefitted from his articles and live videos with my own personal travel goals. As an avid Podcast listener this new resource is great. I've really enjoyed the first three episodes and am excited to see what's next. Highly recommended!

    Ethics?
Why is your moderator doing therapy with your other moderator? That is a major ethics violation. He has a dual relationship with her. You are not supposed to do therapy with any friends or acquaintances. That should be in any Ethics 101 course for all therapists. I would not be broadcasting this.
