innocence & reform advocate WHO BACKS THE BLUE!
These guys are the real deal! As an advocate for prison reform & the wrongfully convicted for 10+ yrs , I’ve also been married to a trooper, correctional officer, & city cop (all the same guy!) I’m often told lines are either black OR white between reform & backing the blue but I always stress the lines are black AND white! These guys remind me why I’m correct! Good on both sides & all sides can always improve. I left 4 podcasts and traded them all in for this one! love the accents & cases sprinkled over the humor dignity & love they throw all around! Good on yall keep em coming (ps I might know a certain sheriff you boys love!!!)

    Can’t finish
I really wanted to like this pod, but I’m listening to the most recent episode and I can’t stand the vocal fry of one of the hosts. It’s grating, and I can’t finish the episode.

    Scott Peterson case
Very, very good! Excellent in-depth reporting. Only problem - I want it to continue, but I have to wait for next episode.

    Wow, not listening anymore
Totally disgusted with the trashing of Kamala Harris and Meghan Markel in the 8/16 episode. Someone cheating on their spouse doesn’t automatically make them a terrible person & a man standing of for his wife against his RACIST family will never be bad in my book. Get it together

    Miss the old RLRC
I’m not sure if Woody ran out of his real life stories or what. I miss hearing him the way he told them in the beginning, there was so much I related to.

    Disappointing
I have listened for over a year and while I do liked to listen it’s become cleaner I do not have to perspective in any area anymore. this is a very tumultuous and dangerous time for our country. I wish I had received a little bit more of that perspective than I had from your show.

Love every show, for different reasons!
I’m a sucker for a good ol’ cop story. Woody can sure carry the original all by himself. The daily show flows so nicely and Jim & Woody really compliment each other. They are like a lovely old married couple. The WOW is a breath of fresh air. I like it for a change. The topics are relevant and of interest for sure. Lastly, Jim’s Exposed is phenomenal. Only thing that could make that show better is if there were more episodes, more often. Although I understand there is not enough time in a day with Local Leaders podcast. Love ALL the shows. Hope they all continue and keep winning the deserved awards!!

Reporting incorrect information is the last straw for me
It’s been factually documented that trump was not shot, he was hit from glass broken on the teleprompter. I don’t know why, but I expected better from Woody.

    Best in the biz!
I have been a long time listener of RLRC and let me tell you, the show is top notch! Not only are the stories real but the man who worked the cases is the one telling it! RLRC Daily is absolutely hilarious. It’s covering headlines in news. These 3, Woody, Jim and Mike have the best banter while discussing the latest headlines. This podcast is probably, in my opinion, the best true crime podcast out there!

What happened to Woody’s original stories
Original Real life real crime hasn’t had any original stories besides the 4th repeat. I understand he was sick, but it’s what he started out with and promised it wouldn’t go away. Did he run out of stories?
  • Jmac252
    WOW
Is there a way to separate WOW from RLRC Original and Daily so I don’t have to hear Mikes voice ever again?
  • Scooby Do & Charlie 2
You are all great! Love the shows! Ignore the McTrolls!
I have been a long time listener and have enjoyed how the show has evolved into so much more over the years. I appreciate how hard all three of you work to inform and entertain us all. I love the new show (WOW)!

    WOODY!!
Thank you for being kind & vulnerable enough to share this harrowing tale with your RLRC fans. We are manifold! I’m glad you were born…and I’m delighted you’re still kickin’ & here to celebrate another trip around the sun ❤️

    Mike the Right Wing Nut
The guy Mike is an anti vaxxer, pedo apologist, extremist right wing nut, and the other two try not to alienate half the audience. However, the guy Mike cannot control himself and manages to wrench in his political views when it’s a True Crime show. He is arrogant and ignorant. I kept giving it another shot, finally done listening to the garbage spew.

    😍😍
I love you guys Aglet!!!!! I’m the 6th Aglet so thankful Woody is recovering power in prayer 🙏🏻

    Pure idiocy - Aglettes
Enough of this wannabe political loser Mike guy trying to be controversial or whatever …… I’m with the previous listener - I’m done. He is clinging onto Woody’s success and it’s painful to hear. Go try to prop up AJ Benza. Woody you are so much better than this.

    Please come correct
To say “The border is wide open” is a falsehood. That discounts all the hard work our Border Patrol and National Guard are doing. Every legal border crossing has agents & dogs inspecting vehicles & cargo. Every area possible between legal crossings is patrolled. Can we do better? Yes! Are we just doing nothing? No! Ask Gregg Abbott about closing bridge traffic. It costs billions for the 3 days he tried it. Please come correct with your info.

    Get the Beatles back together
As an avid true crime enthusiast hailing from New Orleans, I can confidently say that the Real Life Real Crime podcast is a standout in the genre. Hosted by the incredible trio of Woody, Jim, and Mike, this podcast has captivated me from day one. Their diverse personalities blend seamlessly, creating the perfect recipe for an engaging and riveting listening experience. Each episode showcases their unique strengths: Woody’s investigative expertise, Jim’s analytical insights, and Mike’s special levity that brings a much-needed balance to the often dark subject matter. These three men together are like the perfect ingredients for a gourmet meal, making each episode a delight to devour. As a dedicated listener, I was deeply saddened by Mike’s departure from the main show, His absence is truly felt, much like realizing you’ve forgotten to add seasoning to your favorite dish – it just isn’t the same. The dynamic between the hosts has always been a key element of the podcast’s charm, and without Mike, it feels incomplete. To Woody, Jim, and Mike, I hope you can find a way to reunite. Your chemistry is unparalleled, and the podcast world simply isn’t the same without the three of you together. It feels like the Beatles if the podcast world have broken up. Get well soon Woody! Love y’all!

    ONE OF MY FAVORITE PODCAST!!
Woody and his co-host Jim are awesome!! I love how real and raw the show is and I’ve been hooked since I first came across this podcast. I love to hear Woody get all fired up when he’s talking about some of these cases and enjoy listening to these cases coming from the detectives and/or the victims point of view. I just found this show about two weeks ago and I’m listening to the “Who murdered Courtney Coco” season and their work on the case was absolutely amazing after 15 years of the family being jerked around. If you love true crime, you should definitely give Woody and his podcast Real Life Real Crime listen.. and don’t ever let him catch you down on murder bayou

    I’m done
Mike Agovino has empathy for accused rapists when there’s a video of them joking that “they finna rape that girl.” There was aggression on the part of the victim? Really? I have daughters and was sick listening to him. I never want to hear Agovino’s ignorant, arrogant voice again.

    Not the same
I loved this podcast when it first came out and Woody talked about his personal stories working in my parish. I lost interest when the stories were no longer his personal experience. I then came back for the Daily portion as I loved listening to the Woody, Mike, and Jim go back and forth over stories; however, when Mike left it lost its appeal to me. I wish the show the best of luck.

    Ago balanced the Show
I’ve enjoyed listening to this show on my daily walks going on 10 months…I have loved the dynamic between Woody, Jim and Mike. Do I agree on everything they all say? No, but I enjoy the banter amongst the three. Sadly, Mike is no longer hosting and the show has not provided any explanation. I never thought I was an Aglet, but without Mike, the show is a flop. Miss ya Mike.

    Finally
Been hooked since first episode. Finally a true crime podcast that goes with facts and not research nots. Love the details in the story. Don’t leave anything out. I always been interested in true crime and what goes through these people’s mind when they do what they do. Like wonder why do they do the stuff. Plus best saying come from this podcast Don’t let me catch you on murder bayou. I am playing catch up front the starts. Lucky I can listen to it at work.

    Longtime Listener
In all Honesty, I loved the camaraderie of the 3 of you, but felt the passive separation of Mike a while back. Maybe best he just moves onto his own Podcast & wish him the best. Woody & Jim can undoubtedly handle this show as is. A few tweeks here & there to the flow could be made but I trust you all Will Not disappoint. Look forward to the future episodes. Change IS Inevitable & Necessary for growth. Much Love!

Get the crew back together! Not much fun with just Woody reading Fox News.

Disappointed in the loss of Mike from the show with no explanation that I can find. That coupled with the unsettling immature giggling and sexist comments of the other host during the kinky crime segment has me walking away from the show. You don’t need me anyway, as you’re always keen to brag about being the most popular podcast ever in the universe. Best of luck to y’all. I’ll go look for Ago…

    Love this podcast
I recently started listening to crime podcast. This one is my favorite. After listening to the episode with George Thomas, I downloaded Woody’s book. I am excited to start listening!! Keep it up guys

    I miss Mike
I enjoyed the banter and comedy when all three hosts were on.

    Amazing!!!!
My favorite podcast! I turn it on and all of a sudden my hour long drive is over! Woody and crew keep you captivated, make you laugh at times and give you things to think about. ETA: Mike needs to go. Too many irrelevant topics he drones on an on about. He has mentioned his first wife several times, always says something derogatory. Why mention her? Still hung up on her maybe? I hope your kids don’t listen. That’s sad. Also, can we please go back to Woody telling HIS stories and not things he reads on the internet or submitted by fans? The intro clearly says you don’t get the facts off the internet and these are things you saw with your own two eyes. That’s not really true anymore. Lastly, it would be great if the commercials weren’t just thrown in in the middle of sentences. And less lengthy with Agovino going on and on.

    For Real
Stumbled upon this podcast and have been binge listening from the beginning and I just want to say, that you Woody- have got such a way of telling stories that will leave a person hooked!!! I really believe that you are using your talents to the best for us! Thank you and keep up the great real work!!

    Love the daily podcasts!
I can’t remember how I heard about this podcast but love listening to it daily. Love all the different little segments with their special music or jingles. And the way Woody, Mike and Jim interact. Started Bloody Angola and Exposed recently and love them also! Keep up the great work!

    New fave
I’ve been listening to TC podcasts for 5 years. Like, everyday. I’m not sure how I just happened upon Woody but I’m obsessed. Started from the beginning and just finished the Courtney CoCo series. I love your attitude and the way you say what we’re all thinking!
  • Bonnieloulou
    Not enough Woody
I was okay with Bloody Angola being with Jim. Now he’s a permanent fixture and it’s not a great one. Mike is good, good with pronunciations for sure. Jim absolutely butchers the English language. He acts very condescending towards Ago and it’s annoying. People aren’t listening for Jim. They want more Woody. I loved RLRC originals but now most are paid only 😞 Stories on Daily are interesting but please PLEASE have Jim at least research how to say things…like especially, not expecially 🤣 I’m a Louisiana native and know how to talk lol! I know nobody cares about my opinion but I’m over Chapman.
  • TMastro426
    First seasons were outstanding
Sadly, the podcast changed for the worse. Even the stories Woody does these days aren’t nearly as interesting and his insights, which were great in the beginning, are few or repeated insights from older material. Shame, it was a great podcast in the beginning.

    Review
Love the fact that he says what he means and means what he says. Tells a good story too. I was afraid it was going to be a bad show, whir the guys talking over one another but nope. Very good show !
  • 7476s
    Not respectful to other views
It’s one thing to have your beliefs but to call people names and make fun of theirs is another. Just because someone watches documentaries to be educated on all points of view, that don’t follow your beliefs, that doesn’t make the conspiracy nuts. It’s ok to look for facts rather than just take for granted you have the full story. Disagreements are fine. But resorting to insulting others just because they don’t agree with your position is not.

    New listener- can’t stop listening!
I am a new listener. Now on season 2, I’m addicted. Growing up in SE La, I know a lot of the areas talked about. I love true crime, so glad I came across this podcast! The actual detectives perspective on these cases makes it so much better than just case reviews.
  • Addictedtocrime
    Fantastic podcast!!
I am addicted to this podcast!! I can not get enough!!
  • DebbieRog
    Woody won’t stop interrupting mike
I love the show but I can’t handle on constant woody talking over everyone. Just listened to episode violence erupts all over 7/7/23. Mike was talking and I kept trying to listen and the whole time I hear woody talking over him and it was very frustrating. I get sometimes he talks about stuff not related but let the man speak.
  • boobearbaxter
