Best metal podcast on earth. When Will and the boys say something you can take it to the bank.

This is a great metal pod. Love the hosts, guests are great and interviews are always interesting in best way possible. I’ve also started listening to so many other great bands from you guys asking the guest who they would recommend. Thanks for your work.

Great podcast, thoughtful interviewers and really cool guests. But I seriously don’t get why there needs to be songs playing in the back throughout the entire interview. It’s pretty obnoxious and distracting. Please get rid of that. The interviews alone are interesting enough, we don’t need more stimulation.

Will knows his stuff. He hits all the right notes in his interviews and constantly has great recommendations on new music. Super informative.

It just sounds like two guys working in a warehouse on a smoke break talking about local bands. Nothing enlightening, terrible questions, unrelatable even for seasoned metal fans. Just terrible.

Big Will has the best podcast voice. Feels like you’re just sitting down hanging out with some metalhead friends. Great interviewers, great guests. Keep the brutal death metal guests coming! Might I recommend: Rich Lipscomb, Jeremy Wagner, Dave Matrise, Will Rahmer, Tony Tipton (Regurgitation), etc

Rad hosts, killer selection of guests. Always a highlight when a new episode drops. 🤘🏻

Incredibly thoughtful interviews of some of the best artists the death metal underground has to offer. These gentlemen are so knowledgeable while remaining accessible. Both newcomers & vets of the scene will look forward to each episode drop. Kudos to the hole, keep ‘em coming!

this is one of the best podcast i've came across in a long time. these cats are funny and very in depth on what they are talking about. this is one of very few that talk to and about the underground and give it respect. others talk about it here and there but then big and they forget about where they came from. these cats are still in the underground!! can't wait for more shows. \m/

The HHP has quickly become a regular listen for me. It has everything I want in a music podcast: highly specialized focus, serious passion for / knowledge of the subject matter, a great selection of guests and frequently hilarious banter. The Heavy Hole has pointed me toward a ton of great music and reawakened my interest in many old favorites! If you’re a fan of death metal or any related styles, you need to check this show pronto.
