    Top tier show
I had never heard of the Numernara game previous to listening to this show. But the way that David has built the show within the 9th World is amazing. It quickly became one of my favorite shows and is one that I look forward to new episodes dropping.

I have enjoyed every second of this show. Fun entertaining and weird. I recommend it for sure.

    What a Journey!
I've never played Numenera, but I love this podcast! I was instantly captivated by the premise and was on board for a smattering of adventures across the ninth world. Where will Januae end up next? What will he uncover? Will his journey ever end? I don't want it to. Definitely gives me "Sliders" vibes!

    Wonderful, evocative story
This starts off good, but not in a “grab you and drag you in instantly” kind of way - just very good; which is more than enough to subscribe and enjoy. But then it DOES get it’s hooks into you and you get more and more involved and the story and characters are more and more developed and interesting and intriguing until the schedule of once every two weeks is intolerably long ;-). Very well done on its own and also a wonderful showcase of the world of Numenara.

    Excellent show
This story is really engaging. It's just this man who flits in and out of locations essentially against his will, so we get to explore these really interesting places and settings and go on these wild and tragic adventures and then suddenly you're in a new place doing a new thing. It's really interesting. It's also really well written and voice acted. The protagonist has such a good voice. I'm also just a huge sucker for casually inserting female leaders and gay characters in a story without making a big deal of it. It's really quite lovely.

    Love this!
David does a *fantastic* job of bringing his listeners into this world and makes it easier for folks even unfamiliar with his world to come in because he has PRIMERS! I just adore it!

    Awesome Tone and Incredible Story
I started my journey through the Ninth World Journal this morning as I was traveling (had about 1.5 hours of travel time). The storyteller quickly draw the listener into the action. He balances the first-person POV with the voice of a narrator...making me sometime forget that he is both. Cheers on a job well done!

    Wow
It overshoots its game world existence and brings you something so new and refreshing that I, who never even knew about the game it's based on, was instantly captured by the tale. Well done. And our ertswhile reader/actor/protaginist? Phenomenal.

    Love love love
I have to say your voice is what caught me at first and then you built this world I’ve never heard of and never thought would exist. Exquisite storytelling and world building and your voice is perfect for it!! Can’t wait for more❤️

    An incredibly rich world dramatized
Numenara, as a game, first caught my eye because of it's setting and world building. In this short audio drama, we get to thouroughly explore that world through the amazing writing, acting, and production of the crew. One of the most exciting podcasts out there and short enough to casualy slip into your day each time a new episode is released. Even if you have never heard of Numenara, this show is worth checking out!

    Feel like a kid again!
The creator of this show has a voice and a knack for writing that takes me back to being young again and seeing the world with fresh eyes. The story is sweeping, the setting is wonderful. If you are new to the setting start with the primer, it really does a wonderful job of allowing you to understand the world better. This show has become a nightly thing for me, thanks to the length of the episodes and the wonderful voice of the creator, I am able to put this on and relax. Now about keeping that main character out of trouble ...

    Takes me back!
It reminds me of the books I would read as a kid. Wonderful fantastical world that I feel welcomed into instantly. It does a wonderful job of setting everything up quickly so I'm not left confused by who is who and what location is what. Will egarly be waiting for more!
