OBB was awesome but falling off…

I have been a huge fan of OBB during Manny’s last year and mario’s first. But, oddly, starting on the big recruiting day haul, OBB ghosted followers for more than 10 days. Fans had to look elsewhere. Since then, it slept on the DC hire, and weirdly ran a podcast about how Miami was taking too long for an OC hire within 24 hours of the hire after which it has ghosted its fans, again. not sure what is going on but something is off. Give us more X and Ro stuff on OBB in a timely manner. Love the crew and the show but what is going on?

Used to be great

This used to be a great Canes podcast, but has fallen off in my opinion. The show used to be 90% Canes talk, 10% other. Nowadays, it’s 50% about OBB, 30% Canes, and 20% other topics. I understand this happens with successful podcasts and the guys are great at what they do. Happy for them. But I wish they would get back to their roots.

Was great - now just an extended ad

Some amazing episodes from this incredibly knowledgeable crew - The Wolf episode was simply amazing. Lately, however, it has been a full hour of ads and unsubstantiated banter. Understand the need to monetize your platform and I wish nothing but success, but doing 3min+ custom segments for a sports betting partner, life wallet, tank, in the same episode is wayyy to much. Stick to pre/mid roll and do one custom per episode. Loosing a listener because of over saturation. I look froward to coming back when the focus on the team.

Way better canes coverage out there

If you want a show from entitled older men who don’t care so much about the kids then being able to relive their 2001 glory days this pod is for you. I’ve been trying to find quality canes content for a while and I gotta say the OBB isn’t it. From treating the players like kids to refusing to bash their “brand ambassadors” like other players this pod isn’t that quality.

Ehh ok podcast

Not the best hurricanes podcast out there but still worthy of a listen if you need a Canes fix. Roman is great...adds a lot of insight to podcast, toast is a passionate frustrated fan. My only real problem is with Scoop guy admits to not watching all of the games and is on a show where they describe themselves as fans. This leads to any takes from him losing credibility.

2 stars is being generous

Have enjoyed some of their past episodes where they’ve had guests such as Jimmy Murphy and Rohan Marley. Those shows are worth listening to. The shows where they ‘break down’ games and discuss the state of the program are uninformed and incredibly negative. In addition they have a horrible attitude towards players and coaches. Think Twitter trolls with a podcast full of swearing and poor audio quality.

Never Forget

I tried listening to these jabronis but could not stand more than a few minutes of their unorganized “banter” but the moment you say you’re pulling for Ohio State, I’m out. That school stole a championship from the Canes! Don’t care how obnoxious Dabo is. Never Forget the back to back stolen from the greatest college team of all time. Tighten up.

Blake baker

Fan of the podcast completely disagree with the Blake baker take. He has been so bad this defense doesn’t play for 3 quarters and then decides to show up for the fourth quarter. That’s not going to work much longer Blake baker is not a good coordinator and he’s not the guy especially with a defensive head coach like manny.

We’re in the offseason and the middle of a pandemic and there is NO Cane news right NOW. What are people expecting??? During the season Toast, Roman and Scoop freaking deliver! They are entertaining, funny and bring in some pretty cool guests on the show. The OBB is my favorite Hurricane pod out there. They are the best. Highly recommend the Orange Bowl Boys.

Don’t waste your time

Juvenile. They are a weak combination of Howard Stern and Mad Dog. This podcast is weak at best. If you are going to talk sports, talk sports. How your dog or cat defecates is of little interest.

Not a Canes podcast

Out of an hour show, you maybe get 5 minutes of actual canes talk. 2/3 are pretty uninformed and are googling names of the players while trying to act like they know what they are talking about. The rest is just them talking over each other about random stuff.

5 stars during Hurricane football season or when there’s news / interviews. Actual football talk is excellent. The ramblings and forced laughter over their inane observations about everything else is unlistenable. Still subscribed. Hopefully football is back soon.

Really good content and all three guys know what they’re taking about.... BUT there is one guy who can’t stop laughing at his own jokes. He makes a stupid comment and giggles like a school girl. No one else laughs. It might make you drive into a Mack truck.

My Goodness, if you are a Miami Hurricane Fan. MUST HAVE! PERIOD!!!

I am constantly on the look out for more Cane content every week and I first came in for the Brad Kaaya episode which was epic but there was soon much going on that I thought, I must go deeper. I mean Organic Butter, BBC, Muffins <->Acai Bowl and #AzzInAGlass. Yeah, are you scratching your head. It only makes sense when you dive and and my friends you will not be disappointed. Very entertaining and also very knowledgable with a Orange and Green Tint to it as always!!

As a military member who just returned from years overseas your podcast is a “home cooked meal”. I grew up in South Florida and represent the Canes wherever I am so your content, insight and connection to the past make me feel like I’m riding down to the OB as a kid. I live in Kentucky so following the Canes is sometimes challenging. I’ve been looking for a quality Miami Football podcast since Peter Ariz switched careers. Toast, Roman, and Scoop host the best Canes podcast by far due to their comradery and shared love for the Canes. I can only hope the podcast continues to grow and be successful. Go Canes!

You found it!

OBB is THE quality standard for a Canes Podcast. No crappy sound or painful interviews. Scoop, Ro, and Toast have this thing figured out. Quickly, you get to feel as if you’re one of the guys because of their style. Just 3 buddies talking Canes (and other off topic stuff) and having fun. I found this pod in the off season, can only imagine how much better it will get when the season kicks off. Another pro, censored for ease of listening with little ears near by.
