krzeemSuper helpful and entertaining! This podcast is rich with insight!! Youth hockey is full of challenges to navigate as a parent. This podcast has taught our family so much!! It has also been extremely helpful for my player as he navigates different challenges with coaching and teammates. He has also benefited from general advice on how to achieve his goals. I would encourage all parents to put it on and listen with your player while on the road to the rink.

tgracemanUnbelievable - each and every timeI am a grandfather and far removed from those fun days playing hockey on the driveway year round and on local ponds in winter in suburban Buffalo, but the breadth and depth of topics covered here, with hockey as a focal point, keep me coming back to listen each week. Working through old podcasts too as I have found this one about 3 months ago. Some of these gems are the best podcasts I have ever listened to. Phenomenal interviews and really enjoy the hosts here as they support all of us get better at what we do. Thanks guys for what you do. Appreciate your honesty and humility. Keep up the good work. I will be listening, and sharing these with family and friends.

WeavNThe Boys are BuzzinHonestly a great podcast. They have guests that are pure hockey geeks through and through (much like themselves). Even when they don’t have a guest, their down to earth nature and camaraderie always make for an informative, highly interesting listen. I often tell my wife and son to go listen to an episode because of 1 or 2 things that are super great insight.

Coach JKGreat show to be an all-around hockey playerI’ve always thought being a great hockey player was comprised of both on and off-I’ve components, and this podcast gives hockey players/parents/coaches information they need to become better on and off the ice.
-

We listen most episodes with my 9 year old sin who plays travel hickey and get a lot of value from each episode. My son can recite The Hockey Think Tank Podcast intro monologue perfect!!!!

JenCWilliamsOutstanding hockey conversationAs a single hockey mom, navigating youth hockey over the past 10 years has been confusing at times. Sometimes I never really know who to ask or what to ask, and this show has helped me understand how the game works, both for players and parents. Always relevant and extremely positive, I look forward to each podcast. My son is currently 15, and I think that this show has helped me understand midget and junior hockey a great deal, because many of us feel as though hockey is coming to an end. However, I have learned that my son has more time to play and grow than I imagined. I only hope that my son continues to live the game and grow the game in his adult life as you gentleman have done. Thank you for providing quality content, week after week.

d00kesBest Hockey Podcast for ALLAs the parent of a hockey fanatic child with no family experience in hockey (does dating hockey players count 🤦🏼♀️), I love this podcast for the advice on how to guide my player towards the best hockey experience for him. I feel like Topher and Jeff are the newest members of my family. I can’t wait until my son is old enough to listen to these podcasts on his own; The Hockey Think Tank is an awesome resource.
-

stortz87Awesome ContentWas recently introduced to Think Tank by a local coach. Topher and Jeff do a great job about informing people on different aspects of hockey from youth to pro and bring on interesting guests from all around North America. They have been a big part of the culture ideas shared amongst coaches at our club and changed how a lot of people look at bettering the hockey experience for youth players in our area. Keep the good work up boys.

JAL1187Epic podcast!Started listening to the podcast a year ago. This weekend my 8u son and I were driving to his 7a game listening and to Alex Tuch. During the podcast he talks about the mindset find it, fix it, forget it. During the game Cooper turned to me and said find it, fix it, and forget it. I thought he was sleeping in the car!!! You guys do a great job and have all the parents on my team listening
-
Iron_BuckyGreat for more than hockey familiesThis podcast is fantastic on a number of levels. The hockey conversation is always great, but really every episode could be applicable to every sport; especially at the youth level and to daily mindset as well. I’ve grown as a person, not just a hockey dad/coach by listening weekly to this podcast.
-
U.P. HockeyGood stuff!Great listen for all hockey geeks. They cover a wide range of topics and keep the conversation flowing well. I highly recommend it!

Joseph PrimroseAwesome and informational!!Topher and Jeff do an awesome job of going deep and getting the most out of their awesome guests whether it’s stories, opinions, suggestions, etc. So much hockey information as well as information that translates straight to the real world, definitely worth the subscribe!

Nick DellaquilaAn absolute must for any Youth Hockey Parent or Coach! If you are a Youth Hockey parent or coach and you do nothing else, listen to this podcast! There is not a better, more in-depth forum out there on the Youth Hockey Developmental Philosophy. Both Jeff and Topher have played and coached at seriously high levels of the game and speak from a place of experience, knowledge and perspective most can’t even imagine. I listen to several podcasts in this space and although there are many good ones out there, this one is my go to. I listen to every episode more than once and what’s even better is that my 7 year old loves listening as well (He loves Topher’s intro “The. Greatest. Game. On. The. Planet!” and Jeff cracks him up with his protein smoothie reports).... It truly is a great way to pass the time on the way to practices and games and even a player as young as my son gets positive energy from it. I quickly recommend this to anyone looking to be a better hockey parent or coach. Even more so for the ones that think they already know it all and need it the most. Absolute 5 Star. 100%!
-
gmdftglkListen and learnGreat info for hockey people. Listen and get better. Thank you for doing this Topher and Jeff. Entertaining and informative with great guests. Educational. Solid perspective on what is going on in the hockey world at all levels. Listen all the time in the car and airport!
-
jschneideeSpot on!This is "real" information and so important for the youth hockey community. I wish you were creating ther rules and norms for the future of youth hockey. Thank you!
-
Bivy1Absolutely love it!I read your article on the high cost of youth hockey on Facebook and one of my friends commented I should give your podcast a listen. Totally hooked. I’ve been coaching youth hockey for 9 years and played AAA hockey growing up in the late 80’s early 90’s. The insight that you guys and your guests bring is so inspiring. Keep up the great work. Eat,sleep,Hockey, repeat!
-
hockeydad28Absolutely the best!I am a youth coach and have coached from Atoms to Bantam and over the years I have felt beaten down. As a coach I know what’s right for the kids but I always feel only a handful of coaches in my organization are like minded. This podcast is a great reminder that there are more coaches and parents that get it! Thank you Hockey Think Tank for giving me the new hope of sticking to my beliefs.
-
bennettboiiOofMajestic.
-
ronramey711Thanks TwitterJust stumbled on this podcast in a twitter email blast. So glad I did. I want to do everything I can to be a better youth hockey coach for my kids and their teammates, and after listening to three episodes it sounds like this podcast definitely can’t hurt.
-
Qyh CoachRequestPlain and simple - I do love this podcast. My 1 request and this may be difficult is to get into more specifics for youth players in terms of exactly what they can be doing. As a coach of U12, U10 and U8 players, I’d love specific input for goals, off ice and progression development thru those age groups. Keep up the good work guys!!
