    Really really well done
A lot of paranormal podcasts I’ve tried to listen to have hosts that are too credulous and don’t seem to do much research, but this one is different! They go deep, looking at different sources and evidence and I appreciate it. Also they seem to find more interesting stories, not just “I heard weird noises in the woods” or maybe they are just better story tellers than most. Highly recommend!

    Content?
90 minute shows with 30 minutes of content and 60 minutes talking about themselves. I wanted to like this show.

    Poor audio
Audio in the first few episodes is terrible. Great content, but bad quality.

One of the best Cryptid pods out there!
Tough crowd in the review section! I think this is such a great podcast and I’ve literally learned so many new and exciting things. The hosts have great chemistry and all bring something special to the table. It really does feel like I’m sitting around the campfire with friends. I hope some new episodes come out though…no pressure lol. I’d listen to you guys talk about anything supernatural tbh!

Funny and casual breakdowns and conversations about cryptids by three friends with good chemistry. That’s plenty enough for me!

    This podcast is underrated
I’ve only listened to one episode and I already love it. These three are hilarious, I’m shocked that this isn’t as big as it should be. Don’t worry Ill be spreading this podcast to all my friends, it deserves so much more recognition. It’s well researched and I can tell that you guys genuinely enjoy and have a passion for what you guys are doing. Keep up the great work, now back to listening to this amazing podcast. 10/10 recommend

    Wonderful
I searched awhile for a good cryptid podcast. They were all TERRIBLE. Instead of learning anything I ended up screaming,”You’re an idiot! Have you never watched a single cryptid documentary?!?!” at my phone. What I’ve learned by listening to Cryptid Campfire is I won’t listen to stupid people but CRAZY people I will whole heartedly listen to. They’re hilarious. I was gonna give them until Dyatlov pass. And, although, I wish there was more emphasis on Yeti attack, the final conclusion was amazing. I am happy now!

    Funtastic, Funny and For Everyone!
A great podcast for cryptids and the paranormal, easy to listen to plus you learn and laugh along the way! Lots of podcasts out there, but this one deserves to be on your list! Awesome stuff!

Good Hosts and a Great Podcast
This show has things I have not seen through my research. It is also hysterical; in a good way as always. Cryptid Campfire has a good, strong, and friendly feeling. It is nice to laugh, and learn much new information along the way; relatable by many generations. Overall it is amazing.

    Definitely Good
It’s great to listen at anytime but also serves as a great starting point to a topic. The hosts have a good connection and seem like their having fun, which makes me have fun.

    Meh, it’s good.
It’s an okay podcast. Has potential to grow. Having three hosts sometimes makes it difficult to keep along.

    Horrible Horrible Audio...
The audio is horrible and makes it hard to make it past 5 min. Need better mics, which everyone has the same of, and ensure the audio from each person is the same level. Can barely hear the guys and the woman is very loud. None of the mics sound even decent. My speakers and ears hate me know.

A mix of casual and serious
These guys are fun to listen to because they don’t take themselves too seriously while still taking the topic serious enough for you to get interested in it. There is a lot of banter back-and-forth and it makes it fun to have on in the background while doing things.I learn fun facts about cryptids while still laughing at times.

    Book Report Format
I agree with another review, this sounds far too much like hosts are writing a book report with little research on the topics, and a lot of incorrect info. Basically just reciting other people’s works.

    Cryptid Coliseum
I have a suggestion for a Cryptid fight: The crowd is cheering in a deafening roar of excitement, and the D-class personnel tending to the gates stand ready. Suddenly, without warning, the eastern gate cranks and whines open, and from the bleakness within emerges a 9 foot tall, hairy visage. The creature walks on two powerful legs, its limbs pulsating power even through the thick mat of brownish black hair. It bares an ape like snark at the crowd and lets out a roar the shakes the onlookers in their seats. He is met with resounding cheers and chants, for hear stands Sasquatch, over 900 pounds of muscle, fur, and attitude. Suddenly a shot rings out, and Bigfoot clutches his shoulder. He grabs something and looks down at a silvery object lying in his hand. Then, like a flash of light, the once-proud beast of the wilderness topples over, seized by convulsions and seizures that made its massive body shake. The crowd is silent, and a confused murmur begins to spread, but no one turns away from their mascot. Bigfoot begins to claw his face and shoulders, and that’s when the crowd sees his transformation. His hands become longer and tipped with savage talons, his hid grows and snout protrudes, producing large, razor sharp teeth; his eyes are like fire, his ears become backward and pointed; his feet become disfigured and elongated; the cries of an innocent ape in struggle are replaced by the snarls and howls of a wolf-like fiend of giant proportions. Wolf squat has now stands with his teeth bared in anger, and with a great leap grabs a D-class personnel from the top of the 20-foot gates and ends his screams with a single bite. Then the crowd regains it’s fury, and chants and excited shouts ring across the arena, for from the western gate arrives a newcomer; 15 feet tall at the antler, his skin haunt and gray, his body lean with malnourished muscle. His face is that of a dear skull, decked with razor sharp teeth, and hallow, sunken eyes; his hands are long and taloned, and every rib almost pierces his sides. Here stands Wendigo, and he brings with him a feeling of dread and death as he sniffs the air in almost a hungered desperation. The gates close, and Wolfsquatch now turns his confused and frightened anger to this creature he knows not. Then the bell rings, and in a split second, he is on top of the Wendigo before it has a chance to get very far. The camera cuts. Who wins?

    Super awesome!
Super intrigued by this podcast!! Can’t wait to dive into more episodes! I see a serious binge listen with this podcast! So immediately I was intrigued by the intro which is probably one of the best ones I’ve heard in any current paranormal podcasts. Secondly the host sounds awesome! He doesn’t speak too fast or it’s not difficult to understand what he’s saying. And I love how when he’s interviewing guest he doesn’t interrupt. The flow of the episode is great!! I can’t wait to dive into more episodes! If you like the spooky! I highly recommend diving into this podcast!

    Do the rake
Recently you have been talking about more obscure Cryptids. Some are interesting and others are... stupid. I would like more well known cryptids or at least cryptids that have some relevance today, not just folk tales. The Rake is a good example

If you want a filler podcast, this fits the bill... sort of
I wanted to like this podcast and gave it a fair shot but ultimately couldn’t continue. Extremely surface level research that isn’t always correct. Feels like a book report written after only reading the cliff notes.

    Wild Stuff
I had this crazy dream where I flew 2600 miles to the other side of the country and was served a poached egg in a jar by this kid in a cool T-shirt with creatures on it, and then he told me to listen to the Cryptid Campfire podcast. Then I woke up the next day and listened to the podcast and realized it wasn’t a dream at all. Alien-human hybrids are real. 12/10, would eat the jarred egg again.
