Tried to listen to the Natalia Grace episode and could not get through it. Way too much banter, people talking over each other. It’s so chaotic.

I think it’s wonderful. Anyone who doesn’t I think you’re trying to turn this pod into something that it’s not. Let it be what it is. Lighthearted and surface level information that makes you feel like you’re having a conversation with friends. Will definitely keep listening.

I’ve been re-listening to all the episodes and I really miss you both. Please do another podcast!

I get it, these are kids in their 20s trying to cover his historical incidents from before they were born. For those of us who were actually around for these events it’s maddening to listen to your inaccuracies. I started listening at the oldest, 2018, and I understand there’s a new male host at some point so I will hop around to a lighter episode and see if they get better. If they do, I’ll increase the rating if they don’t, I’ll unsubscribe.

Can you not start every thought with I mean…? I listen to a lot of true crime and this is a couple people reading a Wikipedia entry and commenting on it. Do some research and actually discuss what’s happening and why.

Heard about this podcast on TikTok. Sounded so cool. However, three episodes in and it’s like watching paint dry. Nothing is close to being factual. They can’t even get one thing right on their shows. If you are looking for a farcical show, this might be for you. Otherwise, don’t waste the space.

This is my favorite podcast ever! I’m not usually a person who likes podcasts but this is the exception: true crime & Sara and Danny are hilarious! I absolutely love the stories they tell! Full of information about a variety of topics. I’ve listened to episodes over again and I never do that. I hope this podcast continues with Sara and Danny for a long time to come!

Fast talking, talking over each other, side stories, interrupting… it feels frantic

I tried to listen to the episode about Natalia Grace and I couldn’t get through it.. it took 10 minutes of random conversation to get into the case and even then it was a bunch of side convo that didn’t feel relevant… while they all sound fun and have a fun voice for podcasting… I just don’t think this podcast is for me.. I want the details and deep dives into the cases not friend chit chatting about it.. I know what that sounds like because I do it with my friends.

One of the most irritating podcasts of all times! Danny is the worst…constant cackling, stupid jokes, fast talking and fading in and out voice. I listened for the first time because I was interested in the Donda Academy story. There were about 10 minutes of content. The rest was just silly banter. Neveragain.

Hosts are great (especially Sara’s laugh) but when’s the last time they covered something that wasn’t scam related? So boring lately

Had potential, but sorry I had to turn it off. Well, first I had to set the speed to .08 because of the fast talking and laughing. After a while I had to stop because the hard cackling got to be too much. Guest was doing his best to explain the SBF trial, but the host couldn’t seem to miss a chance to crack a dumb comment, then HONK with laughter into the mic. Left you a 5 star review because podcasting is hard work, and I do hope you’re receptive to feedback as to why someone might not be into your show. Good luck to you!

I think these two are fun, but there are consistently sound issues with not speaking directly into the mic., entire sentences fade in and out.

The content is good; however, the delivery is distracting. If they could minimize the number of times they say, “like,” “I mean,” and “you know,” each episode would be half the amount of time. Sometimes all three of those are uttered in one sentence. Yikes.

It’s the consistent super disingenuous super fake laugh for me. You can’t tell me you don’t hear that.

The facts weren’t there to begin with. When everyone is talking at the same time and then trying to over talk the other person is so annoying. One of the worst “true crime” podcasts ever. it’s basically ppl interrupting each others rumors.

I used to enjoy the podcast a lot more. I don’t get why they started mostly only doing scams and crime from the 1800-1900’s but it has gone fast downhill. These stories often aren’t that interesting and irrelevant. Plus they explain them poorly and so it’s confusing and hard to even understand what’s going on. Go back to modern day. These episodes are hard to listen to.

There is basically 5 minutes of actual story telling with all of the try hard interruptions.

True crime is an obsession of mine but it is a thin line between depressing and interesting. Not another True Crime Podcast is able to keep it light hearted and entertaining while talking through gruesome stuff. They cases are unique and interesting and talked about respectively while also being engaging. I would love it if they checked out the Jessica Ridgeway case!

Couldn’t even get through one episode. Not a podcast for you if you want good storytelling.

Lots of ignorance 😬

On a 55 min episode it took 6 minutes of intial chit chat to get to the story. Then another 8 minutes near the end of rambling. I just want the info and the story, I didn’t need to waste my time listening to personal talk.

I just listened to your Brian Shaffer episode and you got so many facts wrong. Please have enough respect for the victims and families to research the story in full. This case has captured the nation, which means there is a plethora of information out there for you to sift through and make sure that your facts are correct. This was the first and the last time that I will listen to your podcast.

It takes SOOOO long to get to the story they are talking about and you have to constantly fast forward. I also noticed they are really judgmental on Christian’s. It started to wear on me so I stopped listening. There’s so many good true crime podcasts, find one who is accepting of all religions.

I suggest just run from this podcast! Never heard anything more ignorant in my life!!! Need to be more educated before getting on here talking to people! Need to get a new job! Podcasting isn’t it! They think they’re funny but not, can’t get through a whole sentence, can’t tell a true story without making jokes, this is just stupid! I think they just like to hear themselves talk, RUN!!!!

But tacky, alcohol tinged true crime with “humor”, is just not my style. It just turns crime (and people dying and lives being ruined) into gossip. But hey, not everything I like is for others.

I just found you have tried to listen a few times. Just couldn’t get past the first 10 minutes. He has got to slow down. I even went to my speed setting to see if it was on 2x’s. I have no idea what he is saying so much of the time. Slow down!! I’ll check back and see if he slows down his speaking. Can’t stand their banter. Nothing is funny so stop the fake laughter. Just tell the story.

I was an original listener and used to LOVE this podcast. Once Casey left, I really tried to keep loving it. Danny and Sarah’s banter isn’t funny and they do not flow well together just the two of them. They also used to do a lot on current events, but now all the episodes are random cases that’s are hundreds of years old.

I’ve been a fan for a long time and while I do think the hosts are good people deep down who have good senses of humor, the Christophobia is really starting to get to me. Can Sara go more than a couple weeks without making some derogatory comment about Christians? Why is this the only religion she confidently and consistently makes fun of? Surely she must recognize the pod has some fans who are Christians (and surprise - they’re not all white conservatives either) so I don’t understand why she would want to alienate this fan base so much with her little comments sprinkled throughout so many episodes. Just please give it a rest. Please show us the same respect you would show any other religion.

The content is completely secondary for me - I just love Sara and Danny’s dynamic and senses of humor!

I love this podcast it has a little bit of everything!!!!!

I enjoy the podcast and listen weekly! I do prefer more recent cases so I haven’t loved the focus on old timey ones, but I continue to listen and I love the updates episodes.

I enjoy the banter between Sarah and Danny and their ability to make true crime not so creepy.

I don’t know them personally but they’re my kind of people! I love their storytelling and the jokes they make along the way. It’s pretty rare that a podcast makes me laugh out loud but I do every time I listen to this one.

Started listening to Laci Peterson case and was 15 minutes in and all they had talked about was their drinking. The only thing more boring than drinking is listening to people talk about how they ordered drinks for 15 minutes. And then randomly transition to a brutally murdered woman and child. Like hold some amount of sacred space. Humor is fine but I don’t want to listen to how you order cute obnoxious wine shots right before you talk about a victim.

September 28th - give me alll the wild stories! I love y’all so much! Your episodes keep getting better and better. I loved your last guest host. I think she jived really well with the show and with y’all. I listen to the show on long drive, walks, and at work. Y’all are always making me laugh. Keep crushing it, and keep spreading truth about MLMs!! The world needs a savor right now 🤪 these MLMs just got to go.

Love them so much! They keep it light and fun while still digging into the deep stuff.

This duo is so loveable. They truly make you feel like you’re just talking true crime with your funny friends. I just adore them! They keep me informed and entertained.

I only watched the doc b/c whenever I saw the title I could only see The Hash Slinging Slasher

First time listener and I have to say, immediately subscribed, followed, downloaded 1 min in to your Lizzie Borden episode. You two have great chemistry, funny banter like the kind you have with your bestie over some iced coffee that just lifts your mood and gives you that talk therapy you needed. That’s how I felt. And even given the subject matter, you made it so entertaining with your self deprecating humor. Love it! Keep doing your thing guys!
