I love Emily’s Pre-Loved podcast. I listen to it while I am prepping my vintage clothes for the flea market. I have learned so much and discovered so many new vintage vendors. I love how speakers feel very comfortable talking with Emily as if she is an old friend. Emily walks us through the speakers start, to how they made it happen, things learned along the way, their favorite garment, favorite vendors and what they are working now. Look forward to new episodes every Monday! Highly recommend this podcast if you love all things vintage, preloved, and second hand!

I recently found this podcast and am OBSESSED! The information, the guests, the vibe is unmatched. I work in the secondhand space and listen to this pod 8 hours a day. The show is put together so well and I love the way the questions are asked for every guest. Definitely a great listen!

Emily has a gift for conducting interviews. She asks the questions that get right to the good stuff. I never have to fast forward through irrelevant chit chat. My favorite part is when she says, “let’s dive right in.” Thanks for all your work on this immensely enjoyable podcast.

Emily is such a warm, expressive, well-informed presence with a variety of interesting guests from the slow and vintage fashion world, with a highlight on garment worker rights and sustainability. It’s a combo of timely, relevant deep discussions and fun chats about style. The interview format and overall vibe is welcoming and engaging for curious first time listeners to industry veterans. There’s plenty of back catalog, so it’s perfect for binge listening- I’ve repeat listened several times over. I’m constantly finding out about great organizations and people to follow too! Give it a try- one great place to start is with Anna Weldon, which includes great stories about Buffalo Exchange’s early days (Season 4, Episode 13)

Pre-Loved Podcast is one of my favorite podcasts. Love the mix of fun vintage content with deeper dive episodes exploring the secondhand market. I always learn a lot from Emily and her guests!

I love the variety of guests, I have been introduced to so many new and interesting people from this show, and learned a ton, my absolute favorite podcast, and the only one I go to Monday mornings to hear the new episode! Emily does a great job of interviewing as well!!

Pre Loved is such a thoughtful, overarching show looking into parts of the secondhand industry I would have never even thought about! Emily is a great interviewer and speaks to such niche-expert guests. Highly recommend!!

I really really like this podcast, I like how it makes thrifting more cool and relevant. I do agree that sometimes the person being interviewed is hard to hear and I find some of the influencers to be a bit boring, where the episodes with authors and people who do something other than influence Instagram are much more interesting but that’s probably just personal preference. I’ve recommended this podcast to a ton of people because it’s so interesting.

Emily was very interruptive towards the guest. I couldn’t listen to her story at all. I am a first time listener, and based on the review from the majority I will listen to one more podcast. I don’t recommend SISILIA PIRING you would just hear so much interruptions even the guest seems annoyed.

The climate crisis can seem huge, overwhelming, and draining. That’s why podcasts like this one that make sustainable living fun are such a blessing. Thanks for your work, Emily! :)

typically i don’t go out of my way to write negative reviews, but i LOVE this podcast. it’s just sometimes the audio is horrible. for example, sisilia’s episode there were times where i couldn’t hear here. it was annoying

I've listened to a whole bunch of podcasts on style, fashion, thrifting, sustainable wardrobes and such, and Pre-Loved podcast is, to my mind, by far the very best one. Rather than spending time on a lot of self-promotion, padding or news that is often irrelevant by the time you hear an episode, Emily focuses on getting right to her interviews, asking smart and informed questions, and editing out any clutter. I really appreciate that! The format is consistent, the audio quality is superb, and she treats each guest with enthusiasm and respect. I'll say that I'm not a pre-loved fashion professional (I just resell things through Poshmark and local consignment shops)--I'm just a style obsessive who loves vintage and thrifting! So I'm mostly listening to the podcast for style tips and vintage info, so personally I'd love even more of that and less shop/business talk. But this podcast is so reliable and such a joy that I will continue to listen to every single episode. Maybe if you run out of bloggers and re-sellers you could interview regular folks (like me!) who just work very hard on their eco-conscious personal style?

I discovered this podcast while trying to find podcasts to help my vintage business. I have learned so much and it has opened my eyes to pre-loved and how it impacts the environment, sustainable and ethical clothing manufacturing and much more. I’ve been a thrifter since forever even now when I don’t have to economically, I’ll go pre-loved before I hit the box stores. Love learning mode about and following all the guests!

I’ve been secondhand shopping for 7 years now. It all started in Honduras with my family going bankrupt when I was in high school and me having to move into a new country and figure life on my own. I had a passion for fashion but had no access to affording brand new clothes. Second-hand shopping became my outlet for creativity. I love the thrill of treasure hunting, spending hours just browsing and creating outfits in my head and watching them come to life. In college I was always complimented for my outfits and loved responding with a “thank for it at a thrift store!”. As I’m now older and a mother, wife and homemaker I have learned an appreciation not only for fashion but also for stewarding our resources well at home or our earth. I am constantly searching for new ways to make our home a place that welcomes sustainable and ethical purchases and doing it Pre-loved is the best way! I am SO thankful I found the secondhand community and especially this podcast. I had no idea it was out there but now I have someone to share this with! I’ve had different dreams and ideas of what I want to do with my gift for great finds and this podcast is a great tool to push me forward! Thank you so much again!💕💋

I have always been a huge vintage fanatic. It started with my love of my grandmothers clothing and took off from there. In fact, I’ve been collecting vintage for about 3 years now for my own vintage store one day. It’s great that there is now a podcast dedicated to preloved clothing ❤️ The guests are kind, knowledgeable, and great to listen to. I am so excited and can’t wait to hear more!!
