PaddyJ1975You Guys: The Good, The Bad, and The Breath WorkEmily’s podcast is filled with tips that have helped my business a lot. I separated my organic and ad funnels for tracking, I ran a successful Black Friday sale, I did intense customer research and even joined a program that is now discontinued. That said, it is hampered by off the cuff assessments of the podcast as containing “epic content”, long introductions about her trips, micro-dosing, and breath work, and oblivious “teaching moments” that included telling a staff member that feeling overwhelmed with work is just the way the world works. (I actually turned off that podcast it made me so angry.) UPDATE: The podcast is worth listening to, but I don’t recommend investing your money in the company. She pays her coaches intern wages and staff turn over is extremely high because she gaslights the staff. The coach I was first paired with didn’t even last week. After 30 minutes on the call I asked him why we were on the call because I’d learned nothing new. Her political beliefs seem like they are merely conservative but in reality are extreme. She can’t run her company well and won’t be able to handle your ads. Heed the warnings of others here.

carrotcake1111Proceed with cautionEmily is a genius marketer but does not know how to run a company. She preaches time freedom but when I worked at Embodied 60+hour weeks were routine just to fall behind anyway. Employee turnover was so high it caused chaos and for multiple coworkers, actual panic attacks. We were all overloaded with 2-3x the number of clients which meant clients were not receiving the attention, care, or quality of results they were promised by Peter who is an incredible salesman but has no idea what actually goes on in the day to day, he doesn’t interact with the team at all. Last year the company name was changed from Hirsh Marketing, Google that if you want to see the history of reviews along with the BBB complaints. In my time there managing overall dozens of client accounts only two were happy and profitable. These clients also had existing multi 6/7 fig organic businesses and at that level any ad campaign is likely to work. Many of my accounts wanted to terminate but after convos with Emily promising things would work if they just kept going they stayed on for another month… and another… but nothing changed and it was just more money down the drain. Account & ad managers of course couldn’t be honest with them because we needed to keep the client numbers up so had to give the same empty promises. If you’re looking for a company to turn around your business or you NEED to make your investment back in the duration of your contract or you’ll be in trouble, please do your research and proceed with extreme caution.

UN ruly JulieEpisode 698: 3 Things I’m Implementing Right Now In My Own BusinessI loved listening to this episode. I am tired of hearing post post post everyday. I love hearing that deeper more meaning full posts are better for your business than trendy music and gimmicks. I am working on my content strategy. I will know when I find it because I won’t hate doing it. I am still building my qualified list but I am excited that while I optimize my funnels and ads I am able to learn and prepare for the next steps simultaneously by listening to Emily’s wisdom. Watch out evergreen and live launches… Here I Come!

long live free speechReally excited about this podcast!I’ve been working with Emily’s team in Expand over the past two months and it has been amazing! She has really quality people working for her and the customer service has been fantastic! I’m amazed at the business Emily has built in her short life and can’t wait to learn more from her as I grow my own business and begin to think like a CEO.
-
Dawn Aurora 96One of the best marketing podcasts out there!I’ve been listening for a couple years, and Emily’s collection of real life, unique and results-getting marketing ideas are consistently stellar. There’s no cookie cutter info here. And the fact that she lets you into her life just enough only adds to likability and credibility.
-
3milyruthCutting Edge Business Leadership!Embodied CEO is the natural evolution of Emily Hirsh’s incredible podcast! She takes marketing beyond just strategy, offering an intuitive, aligned, and deeply human approach. Emily makes complex concepts feel accessible and actionable. Every episode leaves me feeling inspired and ready to implement new ideas in a way that feels authentic. I’m beyond excited for more of Emily’s insightful conversations with incredible guests. If you're looking for a podcast that blends intelligent, cutting edge discussion with embodied principles and business leadership, this is the one!

CShel1234Relatable and so easy to listen toSometimes I get overwhelmed with marketing/business advice because it can feel so rigid… but not here! This is such an honest and relatable podcast that has taught me so many things about marketing and myself. Also, I love that Emily has young kids and makes me feel understood in the balance of motherhood and entrepreneurship! Love this show!

ReachingTeacher920So Glad I Didn’t Hire This AgencyEmily always came off a little self-absorbed, she also talked negatively about her team throughout the podcast. She spent a ton of time talking about her vacations and retreats and how to build a successful business but then weeks/months later shared about how her business was falling apart. Most recently, her discussion about politics made it clear that she really is self-absorbed and cares about no one but herself. Hard pass!

Cindra.MBUYER BEWAREBUYER BEWARE: I think this podcast, when she is actually teaching marketing, is GREAT. But I gained more from the podcast than the THOUSANDS of dollars I invested working with the Hirsh (now Embodied) team. I have now spent well over $20,000 with Embodied Marketing. That is not including ad spend. And have gotten little to no results, little to no strategic help, and little to no movement. I continue to run ads that are similar to what I have run for the past ~4 years with minor copy/creative tweaks suggested by Embodied with no results. If any bigger moves have been made with Embodied, they have been my ideas as opposed to Embodied's guidance. In my time working with this agency, I have been passed from new account manager to new account manager countless times making progress very hard. And frankly the frequent employee turnover is just a bad testament to what is going on internally at Embodied. I have expressed these concerns countless times with Emily, and Fallon, and many account managers. Each time I have expressed my concerns, little to no response or movement has been made. While I think Emily, herself, is brilliant and I DO believe the strategies she shares in this podcast. It seems as though “her gift” of pinpointing bigger strategic changes that need to be made, is absolutely NOT trickling down to her team. You would think that after countless months of no results, someone higher up at Hirsh, OR Emily herself, would step into a meeting to resuscitate the account before loosing a client. From my perspective, It seems Emily along with the Hirsh team are more focused on shifting their own offers, launches, events, than client success. While Emily finds her “alignment,” clients are falling through the cracks. I believe the core value of “ads always work, its just a matter of when” but also, how much money am I supposed to pour onto this in the interim?! It seems like a convenient value to sell people on working with Hirsh and make endless minor tweaks with little to no results while collecting your paycheck.
-
stcyctThe BEST of both current AND timeless marketing strategies.I have been listening to Emily’s podcast for years…ever since I first heard her as a guest on Amy Porterfield’s Online Marketing Made Easy podcast. Podcasts are my go-to for business advice and this one is always at the top of my list. If you want actionable marketing tips and want to learn more about what is working right now as well as what works long-term look no further than this podcast. Also, make sure that you sign up for the free trainings that Emily mentions in the podcast as they come up. In one of the completely free trainings I was able to get all of my Facebook Ads questions answered, a Facebook Ad up and running, and get it to perform well in literally less than a week…for FREE. I could not recommend this podcast, or Empowered marketing’s strategies, more. Definitely check it out!
-
Alorenzo86So self absorbedNot sure what actual marketing she does, spends a lot of time talking about her vacations and retreats.
-
ChrisBN5She explains marketing in such great detailI’m making progress, improving, and still have some ways to go. Once I saw Emily’s ad, I tuned into the podcast, her stuff has helped me a lot, I’m understanding marketing and running ads a whole lot better than before. Also vs. those gurus who sell a one size fits all strategy.

Happy Easy MealsWould Give Zero Stars If Possible Based on DishonestyLet me start by saying that this podcast gave me confidence in the service Hirsh Marketing would provide! And the reason this podcast is the appropriate place for this review is that it drew me to their agency services, so it might draw you in too. I recommend you don’t let it convince you to choose them. This is my experience only, and I’ll leave out many smaller details that I’m willing to share if they are helpful to others. 1. Unreliable - Delays in the business world may be inevitable, but when not one deliverable was on time and as stated it would be, there’s a problem. 2. Dishonest - Every problem we encountered was blamed on something else, nothing was their responsibility internally. Often times it was blamed on myself and my business! Even down to my third party complaint. It’s impossible to work with professionals who lack accountability. 3. Poor quality work - From misspelled words to a missing piece of our funnel, unfortunately, using this company did not save me time because I either a) had to check back over everything or b) it was more accurate - and less frustrating- to do it myself. 4. A money pit - Our two most precious resources are time and money. We hired this company (commitment of money) to preserve our resource of time, in order to utilize it elsewhere. Unfortunately, while paying them money, it saved me no time either, for the reasons above. Please use this information to think twice about committing your money to this agency.

mlc8769Great Podcast from a great person!I love this podcast for multiple reasons: 1. The episodes are short and to the point so easy to consume on my commute and easy to digest the info 2. Emily is like the best friend I’ve been waiting to find. Her personal stories in the beginning sometimes remind me of myself and sometimes cast a picture of what I hope my future to be! 3. She is always interweaving personal growth lessons. Marketing is marketing AND being a leader/CEO involves always growing as a human being and she never leaves behind an opportunity to bring in those lessons. I highly recommend this podcast for anyone who needs help with marketing and needs it in the most straightforward, easy to understand way.
-
Erinncastillo10/10 best marketing podcastI first listened to Emily as a guest on another podcast, so when I started listening to NFLM I was floored! First, I loved hearing about her personally because I immediately felt connected to her (I don’t meet many young women who do CrossFit, garden, know about ayahuasca 😂) so it was like hearing from an old friend. Second, her expertise makes understanding these concepts 1000% more digestible. When it comes to business, she’s straight to the point, clear, and doesn’t waste your time because she knows: time is money.
-
shields0808Literally Best Marketing Podcast. Period.I almost never write reviews but Emily is so good I had to. Love her no-sugar coating allowed, tactical and strategic, value packed approach.
-
HeatherFormerHooterAwesome podcast!Emily doesn’t waste her time or yours on this podcast. I’ve listened to a bunch of episodes and appreciate how straightforward she is and her refreshing (less canned!) perspective on marketing. Her paid offers are also worth it. Very glad I found this show!
-
kristen_zookThis podcast changed my businessI started listening to Emily’s podcasts about 6 months ago. Doing so made it very clear how many holes we had in our business strategy and where our old marketing company was falling short. We let the other company go and hired Hirsh Marketing 3 months ago. Already, we’ve made massive changes to our funnels, grown our audiences, and increased sales. It can be scary to entrust your business to someone else, but Emily stands behind her company and her team. We feel we are in great hands and look forward to exponential growth in our business in the coming years. Emily practices what she preaches in her podcast, and is a wealth of marketing expertise.
