Love this podcast you are the first one I come to to hear your take on Kentucky basketball.

Hands down the worst locked on host

First of all, I like Lance seems like an overall nice guy, so that’s the upside, but I have to be honest about entirety of show. I’m a longtime fan,since 1970,years of Still,Sonny Collins,Ramsey,Jimmy Dan,Macy,Shidler,’The Goose was Golden”,great years, and I know and played the game,Bb,Fb and baseball. Lance, a lot of times,you talk to fast, really, slow down some, alot of times I can’t even understand you, you fly through topics ,you ramble at times. I’m not trying to be mean,truly trying to help you. And you truthfully need some co-host, a couple other with varying opinions even. And you never have any new info, and ts all whatever KSR insiders said ! You really need to develop your own insiders,share info,even stories the other sites DONT HAVE ! We can go to KSR to read that info,then why then listen to your show ? Again,please know,this isn’t to run you down, I truly hope it helps you and your show grow and get better. Banter,Banter,Banter LNce,you can’t do that by yourself,you need other host with you, and your OWN stories about players,teams,inside info,etc…. I’ll keep listening,for now, but slow down some,please, and work on the rest please. Best to you,prayers,God bless….

I’m writing this 5 days after Pope landed his first 5⭐️ recruit and he hasn’t mentioned it. He does however give us quotes from players to other podcasts.

Can’t figure out the schedule on which these are posted. I listen and hear a schedule during the podcast. But I don’t see anything posted the next, or next, day all that often.

I do not like the anti-Cal attitude. If you are attempting to give “expert” analysis then stick to analyzing instead of telling me what you think Cal is thinking. Because what you said after the Fla A&M game made no sense. Started listening to the next show and had to stop. Playing Chris Livingston at the four makes no sense when you begin playing down to other team’s weaknesses. He is at least a three or even a two before giving up height to move him to a four. He will play a two in the league. Get over your thoughts of what you think is a modern game when you obviously don’t understand the difference between the college and pro defensive rules.

Living right in the middle of big orange country I’m always looking for any sports coverage not talking about UT. This podcast is great and your coverage of Kentucky basketball and football is the best. Thanks for a great show.

This is a must listen. Lance gives a fair review as a fan that gives you an unbiased look at the teams and schedules.

If you mention basketball in September while the football team is top 10 in the country, you’re done.

Does a great job presenting information and talking about relevant topics.

The host is solid, but he isn’t locked into Kentucky. He pronounces Calipari wrong which basically tells you all you need to know. We need a Kentucky guy.

This guy isn’t plugged in enough to cover Kentucky every day.

I love how he comes at you with a little bit of a different take. Dont always agree but makes it interesting.

The host is an Auburn guy. This podcast needs a Kentucky guy. He doesn’t know much about Kentucky.

This podcast used to be a must-listen every day. Eventually it began deteriorating, as it seemed more like a one-sided politics podcast than one of a sports’ team. Shortly after that, the uploads became few & far between. The podcasts were no longer daily. Before I knew it, both Kyle & Dan were removed from the podcast and a new host has still not been selected. Please bring Locked On Kentucky back, with better hosts this time that will stay on topic!

I’ve listened to this podcast since it started, and have been a big fan no matter who the hosts were at the time. That being said, the recent episodes have been quite political and self-righteous as another reviewer posted. On Wednesday’s episode, Dan and Kyle insinuated very strongly that you’re a racist if you have questions or differing thoughts regarding the current situation in America regarding race. Since when does having questions, make you a racist? As another reviewer noted, these sports podcasts can be a nice 30 minute reprieve from being bombarded by politics and having to choose sides. This one used to be that, but not anymore.

Used to love this podcast but really has become THE most consistently negative sports podcast I listen too. Every single take is the most negative outlook and I usually don’t mind politics mixing with sports on occasion but if u listen to this get ready for a political topic EVERY show mixed with condescending self-righteousness and I’m not even conservative.

A word of unsolicited advice fellas...Kentucky fans are turning to you to get away from politics and to hear about our team which is a reprieve from the real world. Please be cautious as you’re venturing outside your lane. Be the alternative we need...please. See my previous review below. Thank you! Thank you for actually talking about Kentucky sports. Other popular Kentucky sports radio shows are nothing but juvenile gossip but you all discuss more sports in 20 minutes than those other shows manage in 2 hours. And you actually know the game! Thank you!

I just want to sincerely thank Kyle and Dan for all of their coverage, content and entertainment over the past few weeks. Sincerely thankful to make this podcast a part of my week and genuinely appreciate the thoughtfulness they brought to this national emergency early and consistently. I listen at work and it’s not a quiet place but I have one earbud in as far as I can and still can barely hear Kyle and I can’t hear the new guy at all. Sound level is very uneven. Ads are really loud, then content is hard to hear. Love the commentary team and the Cats!

Was better with Curtis Burch. Kyle Mann smacks his lips too much when he gathers his thought and ever since Mann has came on Kyle Tucker has started smacking too. The pod content is good but the conversation is annoying due to the smacking.

Thought Curtis leaving would kill it but the new Kyle added to the old kyle Just might work

This podcast rarely discusses football. There are huge things going on in football recruiting and you discuss where Cal is traveling. Seems very lopsided. Love the podcast but please discuss other things other than basketball. Our football team is worth talking about.

Talk more about UK football. I know we are a basketball school still but it would be great if you all could get into more football discussion and news, especially since it is right around the corner.

I was glad to find this podcast. I used to listen to Curtis and Kyle on the SEC Country podcast and I was disappointed when it stopped. I’ve been listening to them on my drive home every night after work and it’s a great way to keep up-to-date on the Cats!
