Ej LaceyLike Therapy for a TherapistJessica truly has such valuable wisdom and insight, she has played such a big part in my healing for the last 5 years that I’ve been listening to this podcast. I have learned more about astrology from her than anyone else, she’s hands down the best. I could go on and on but… her weekly episodes feel like exactly the therapy I need as a therapist to start my workweek.

carla2692FABULOUS, but—I don’t know why you would mention the U.S election so many times this year in your free weekly and annual (‘24) forecast, tease that you have “more on this, later”…then paywall it. I get it, we’re all surviving capitalism, but ew

FT😛In loveThank you Jessica! I can’t wait for each new episode! Most folks giving negative reviews seem to be Zionist🤷 much love 💕 and lots of respect for speaking up and creating an authentic podcast 💕keep doing what you’re doing 🙏

pathofanempath467 Dang Jessica !many thanks to you and the brave recipient of your advice. as a woman of color navigating my own dynamics of the patriarchal influence within relationship, the episode spoke to me deeply. the callers consciousness / awareness of their positionality was disarming yet deepened my empathy. thus allowing the crux of their concern to provide salve to the universal wound of women acknowledging our part, cross cultural and relational definitions, of recognizing the nuance of consent to our conditioning. ((insert applause)))

another human37Love Jessica and this podcastMy favorite astrology podcast - I never miss an episode. I love that she’s obviously very trauma-informed and encourages her listeners to take care of themselves and their nervous systems while navigating the challenging astrology we’re all living through. I also really appreciate that she stands up for the oppressed, including Palestinians. As an anti-Zionist Jew myself I know that she’s risking a lot personally and career-wise speaking out, and the fact that she continues to do so shows a lot of integrity.

AGK1985Biased, Pandering, Selective OutrageThe problem isn’t she talks about politics, it’s her talks are one sided. She is not qualified to talk about these issues. She’s not a military nor a Middle East expert. She’s “proud to be Jewish” but spends an entire episode trashing one side and leaving out all the inhumane terroristic abuses of the other. She does not welcome different points of view. Just because the current leader of a country is problematic doesn’t mean you need to trash the entire country and what the country stands for and misconstrue its purpose.

septgirl19Jessica is a treasureAmazing podcast. Thank you Jessica for being You! Her readings are On Point, I always find something to relate to and so much great advice. She is really helping people and she’s super entertaining, too. I love her! I love the astrology, the mediumship and the animal communicating! I haven’t missed an episode in years. I can’t say that about any other podcast.

vanhornester✨✨✨Thank you for being so responsible.
-
rachelberlinBrilliant 467Episode 467, “Participating in Your Own Harm” was one of the most brilliant things I’ve ever heard, psychodynamically. I’ve lived it, thankfully left it, and hope this may help us all to avoid these patterns in the future. An amazing resource.

slice and ficeBoarding boringGetting ao boring when she does personal readings. Its their business none of mine . I guess everyone needs attention. I will just listen when she actually does everyone’s signs. Which is like never . Bye it was fun 😉 👋

Leillanii GToxicFilled with her own neurotic negative divisive fear based pov toward society which impacts her astrological interpretations One of the worst representatives of astrology on a podcast

zainbowPARENTAL TRIGGERS TOTALLY RELATED TO THIS TOPIC!I am adopted I actually had a good relationship with my birth parents but it always is perplexing/maddening to me when I see people close to me continue toxic parental relationships when I believe they should be severed. I related to this podcast so deeply. I’m 49years old! Thank you for choosing this topic!!
-
Charlote 00Politics?I used to really like the podcast until she brought in politics in it. Regardless who you are voting for and what party you are from it just seems awkward to be put into it. When it is brought up it feels like it doesn’t fit.

LaylatttyyyuvA Wise BalmJessica uses her expertise in astrology to center what it means to be a human on this planet during this time. So much of this podcast is a needed and welcome balm that cuts through the noise of current times to the heart of our humanity. Jessica’s commitment to using astrology ethically and responsibly is refreshing and so desperately wanted. In a time of TikTok astrologers and astrology dripping in capitalism- this podcast strikes a different note- ringing with integrity from the first words to the last.

RI2CAA Must Listen Astro Pod!This podcast is my go-to Astro pod. Jessica has been practicing astrology for a long time and her wisdom comes through. I like her “tell it like it is” way of communicating and the new twice a week format; horoscopes dropping early in the week and an answered listener question mid week. I’ve learned so much from this podcast and also have enjoyed Jessica’s community on Patreon. You want to know this Triple Capricorn! I hope you enjoy as much as I do!
-
Grown townMy favorite!I was always very skeptical of astrology and not into it at all until a friend of mine recommended this podcast. I love Jessica and I’m totally into astrology now. I love her straightforwardness and light heartedness. She feels genuine and I always come out with some great nuggets of wisdom to chew on. Big fan!

earthyeasel❤️I learn so much from Jessica and I'm so grateful to have this resource in my life. Simply listening to GoaP is inspiring and expanding for me especially when I'm "going through it."
-
lavieggalThank you, episode 445Want to thank Jessica and the guest of episode 445. This came at the right time. Life-changing. Forever grateful.

Anna Dee WThank You for the High Quality ContentWords cannot even express how much this podcast means to me, it’s everything. It’s my guiding light through the storms of life, it’s a gentle reminder to be rooted in my values, a gentle push toward something better. I have been listening to Ghost of a Podcast from the very first episode…through good times and challenging times. I am loyal listener because I get something hopeful from Jessica’s insights even if the reading is for another sign. I like that we get two episodes a week. I also very much enjoy her Patreon; the topics on there are great and correlate with the transits. I signed up because I want more of her content especially through the challenging transits. I’m so glad I became a kitten!! 💯Worth it. Thank you Jessica to you and your partner for putting out quality content every week consistently. And Happy Birthday to your partner!!! I’ve been meaning to write a review for a long time and finally figured out I had to download Apple Podcasts to leave a review. I use Spotify and it only gives you an option to give a 5 star rating but not write a review. Love overdue thank you!!!!!❤️

ashley.ashley129Super helpfulI love Ghost of a Podcast and have been listening for over four years. Jessica is insightful, compassionate, rigorous in her work and steadfast in her values. I love the weekly forecasts as well as the personal readings. I follow her on patreon & she has been an incredible resource in my learning about all things woo! Lots of love to Jessica & her forever fiancé who work on the pod 💖

ana691!AmazingJessica is just brilliant almost unbelievably wise and soulful when she reads people and most especially animals (and gives them the space to have their own quirks rather than be human accessories). I do get a little tired of the preaching - I mean we all have our own roads — and also what feels like an anti (straight) male vibe and saying things like she “hates” JK Rowling because she’s supposed terf. Maybe jk was just asking for a more complicated conversation rather than insisting trans women are the exact same as actual women? I wish she’d take her own advice and not demonize anyone who doesn’t completely fall in lock step. You know what Yeats said about passionate intensity… still a lovely wise person all in all - though I'm for whole signs ;) 💜 I also want to say what a heart Jessica has for the world
-
BathSaltG0ddessconsistent negative undertonesit's the "don't get used to it" when referring to "good" transits for me.
-
welshure👍ive been listening (and deep diving into historic episodes) for the last year. wow. what a light on compassionate capri-dadding: to her individual reading clients, to listeners as individuals, to the global energy shifts happening to all of us. what a nuanced, layered, and complicated way to show up in the world. thank you for roll modeling your humanity, empathy, and expectations of yourself and of us. i get so much out of almost Every episode💕

Karlee Rae 2008Better than my doctorate degree in psychologyI’ve been listening for more than two years now and I don’t miss an episode. I’ve also learned so much from listening to the earlier episodes when I’m waiting for new ones to release (checkout the 2020 year ahead if you’re on the fence about whether Jessica or astrology is the real deal or not). Jessica has taught me about astrology, where to learn more, and has made astrology a tool that I use in my mental and spiritual well being practice. I know myself better because of this podcast and my relationships have improved because of this podcast. The difficult aspects of life don’t feel so lonely and I feel more equipped to make the most out of my career in community organizing. Knowing that the world, or our country, is on a ride together makes being empathetic to others easier and is a chef’s kiss to my background in Psychology. They should have taught astrology in my graduate program!
-
jsbgixiejSolidSuch a solid astrology podcast! Thank you for keeping it real and addressing the nuance of systemic oppression amidst the astro weather. BLESS!
-
LawfieldsMy favorite astrology podI love Jessica’s perspective on astrology. She somehow provides actionable insights into the transits for the week and how they may affect you personally while also sharing a broader global, community based perspective all in a way that is pleasant to listen to and easy to digest while driving or whatever else you may be doing while listening. I also support her patreon for the monthly overviews + tons of other content!

Anne2893Take what you love, leave what you don’tJessica brings such a progressive and community-minded perspective to the world of astrology that I haven’t heard from many other astrologers (I’m sure there are more like her out there!). I appreciate her eloquence, and her words of acknowledgement regarding the injustices of our world feel like a hug. There is no such thing as perfect activism, so my words of advice for those who listen but feel there is something lacking… take what you love, leave what you don’t. You too have a platform, no matter if it’s smaller than Jessica’s; use it to speak on the issues and viewpoints that resonate most with you! I repeat: there is no perfect activism. We are all in this together and we’re all teaching each other so long as there is respect and sensitivity involved. 💚

cassia3578Astrology and Justice focused - yesI have been listening to Ghost of a Podcast for years and it is an essential part of my weekend and week. Firstly, I have learned so much about astrology for her. Secondly, I have learned so much about social justice from her. Thirdly, I have learned so much about myself. Her weekly readings always leave me with a question of something she shared that is applicable to me. I now know about intercepts. I don’t feel so alone. Thank you Jessica!

sakuraflwrzLOVE THIS PODI haven’t found many spaces in the woo where they are loud about worldly topics. And the way Jessica shows up is real. I just want to say for anyone being overly critical. Firstly, how she chooses to show up first of all makes her human. And there can’t be healing on holding onto colonial patriarchal perfectionism ways. Divisiveness will no longer work moving forward if we want a better world. We are all fighting the good fight the best way we know how, and improving and bettering day by day. Humility has its utility. Second if she can’t be what you want her to be, then be what you want her to be. Show ppl how to show up instead of talk talk talking. It’s getting old…
-
freedmiiesterGreat Astrology Content But Too Much Selective ActivismI listen to this podcast religiously and I appreciate how well Jessica synthesizes astrology into a language we can all understand. However, her discussion of the horrific atrocities happening around the world bothers me, not because of how long she talks about this topic, but because of how selective she is in what she talks about. Week after week, she goes on and on about what’s happening in Gaza which should definitely be talked about. However, if she really wants to use her platform to spread awareness (as she says), maybe she should talk about other atrocities that aren’t already being heavily covered by the media, such as the fact that Haiti is falling apart as a nation at this very moment. I’m only saying this because she has said more than once that she wants to use her podcast as a platform - I’m simply suggesting that she uses it as a platform for issues that aren’t being covered by every other media outlet out there already. I know there is so much happening in the world but when she constantly chooses to only focus on a few things, it feels like selective activism. Either acknowledge everything that’s happening or acknowledge nothing and stick to astrology
-
AvidscifanInsightful!!!I love Jessica’s point of view of the world and personal insight. I actually don’t believe in astrology (I can’t see it and I don’t mean my five senses) but, I do believe in empathy and psychic ability. And somehow, I see a part of myself in almost all of her guests! And I absolutely love her animal readings which have given me a better understanding of my cats! I always refer to Jessica as “my psychic”!
-
switchonthenightCreate a Donate ButtonGreat show. Thank you for your insights. Excellent Pisces autobiographical comments. Haven’t heard them fess up like that before. Mature 💕

Ganymede79Incredible intuitiveThe Wednesday shows are so insightful and entertaining while the Monday shows are a liberal soapbox mixed with the most depressing weekly astrological perspective. I’ve stopped listening to the Monday shows and thoroughly enjoy the Wednesday shows, hence the 4 stars.

JoellereviewsJESSICA FOREVERFirst of all Jessica as an astrologer THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for constantly zooming out and discussing politics and bringing that into your podcast — I struggle with the exact same greater zeitgeist issues just like I struggle with my personal life’s. She is well spoken and caring and blazing about the world and it makes me LOVE her as an astrologer. She knows SO MUCH about SO MUCH. PLEASEEE continue to bring politics into it and ignore the naysayers. You’re awesome and you’re often the EXACT message from the universe I need.
-
love it wow!Not goodAs someone that works in harm reduction I have noticed that almost every episode Jessica says that now is not a good time to use consciousness raising drugs. I’ve liked this podcast a lot but unless u are Ronald Regan era no fear based anti drugs how could it be that the stars are consistently saying now is a bad time to do mushrooms etc. I highly doubt it. Other than that I have liked this show but this in itself is a good enough reason to think that Jessica probably has some personal bias that is coming out in the show that honestly reads as judgmental and cringe. I will no longer be listening to this show.
-
Semi-fan1233MixedIn some ways a wonderful podcast — she has some stellar insights on relationship, the psyche, trans personal dynamics and archetypes — but she is 9000% better when she doesn’t talk about (in her words) “the world at large.” Those are an almost automatic click-off for me.
-
sallysoo2020Deeply disappointedI loved this podcast so much at one point. Listened religiously. But the way jessica has handled the Genocide in Palestine has been really disappointing. For someone who is incredibly critical of the right-wing in the USA and the rise of ethnofacism in the US; she has been very gentle and soft on the occupying settler colony of ‘Israel’ and an apologist for Zionism. Learning she has ties to the occupying entity made it make more sense. It’s the selective outrage and firm stance on all facisms excluding the one that she is implicated in. Sad! Very sad because I’ve gained so much from her wisdom. I know we are all but human— so I do hope she reflects on this, but her privilege is showing through the cherry-picking of outrage. Free Palestine, forever.

cueva.worldThis Podcast Has Held MeI love this podcast too much lol! Especially the readings with listeners — I’ve taken away so many gems and lessons and new practices to try for my own well being. As a Jewish listener, this podcast has provided so much comfort during this time in Palestine / Israel and I find Jessica’s perspective to be a refreshing reminder that we must unite and find the humanity in one another. ❤️
-
well-roundedThe best astrology podcastI have been listening to GOAP for several years and what I appreciate most about it is the way that Jessica is frank but caring in her delivery of astrological news and how it relates to the world at large. She creates a safe space for listeners, no matter where they’re from.
-
maddest-momTHE BESTJessica’s knowledge of astrology is deep and nuanced. But what keeps me coming back to this podcast every single week is how she connects it to our humanity. Her compassion, wisdom, and accessibility are truly unmatched. She is here for all our liberation, and I don’t just mean social justice movements, but also our internal revolutions. And she’s funny and a joy to listen to! I’m so grateful to have found this podcast to help me make sense of this crazy world.
-
Lindsay L 87Love the insight! Highly recommend! For anyone interested in astrology, I highly recommend Ghost of a Podcast. Jesica’s insight week after week helps me to understand the world around me on a deeper level. She also does an amazing job of explaining complex astrology and making it easy to understand a relatable. Thanks for such a great podcast!
-
CaptainLisaaaLove itI listen to this podcast twice a week and love Jessica’s compassion, commitment to justice, insight and humor.
-
RachMH♓️Hilarious, honest, & critically consciousI love Jessica’s offerings so much and look forward to both the Sunday and mid-week episodes each week. I deeply appreciate Jessica’s humanistic approach to astrology and her commitment to centering and actively advocating for marginalized folks, including those impacted by racism, colonization, imperialism, and queer/transphobia. I’ve learned a ton about transits & energetics through listening to this podcast and I look forward to continue learning from Jessica 💓
-
Atsume❤️Not safe for Jewish listenersJessica Lanyadoo’s podcast is not a safe space for Jewish listeners. She actively promotes false narratives about the Jewish people and Israel. Please protect yourself if you are a Jewish listener, it’s very triggering and painful.
-
Dana SaariAll time favoriteabsolute favorite podcast! great for astro nerds and people who want to learn, but also great for people like me who don’t care to understand everything about astrology, and are just here for the wisdom. the emotional intelligence, guidance, kindness that jessica shares with her guests of diverse identities and experiences has touched me and taught me in more ways than i can count! every episode something hits home for me, i feel like i learn something new about myself and feel less alone in the things i discover. would give 10 stars if i could!
-
lornbornThe best western astrology podcast out hereIts true!!! I’ve been into astrology for over 10 years and have never found a more consistently helpful, knowledgable, and enjoyable podcast. If you're into western astrology but tired of terf takes and inaccessible resources (read: i-have-the-knowledge-that-i will-hoard-and-trickle-out-only-so-much-as-to-maintain-that-power-dynamic) - this is the podcast for you! Jessica is so knowledgable and good at explaining things and sharing takes that help to shatter fear and cultivate acceptance. Having our own relationship to the stars is all of our birthright and JL really gets that! <3
-
Suzy PinkThe bestEven if you don’t believe in astrology you’ll still benefit from this podcast— which is full of all kinds of interesting topics, viewpoints and no-nonsense advice and no B.S. Thanks Jessica. Grateful for your podcast.
-
Jillian MaddocksMy all time FAVORITE podcastNot only has Jessica taught me so much about astrology through her podcast, but I have learned an inconceivable amount about the human condition, and how to live in a more compassionate and authentic way. Listening to her podcast always makes me feel so much less alone in the world. She is truly such a gift! If you ever get the chance to have a reading with her TAKE IT!! My reading with her last year opened up my life in so many beautiful ways. Thank you, Jessica!!
-
theg@yestAstrology & situatedness in praxisSo appreciate the approach! And the principles and values. My favorite astrologer ever! I’m trans and an activist and I find a problem with everything, but not this show!!! lol.
