Love the pod. Just outside of the Philly market so love when your pod drops every week. I’ve been thinking about Jahan Dotson making the plays when they came to him vs Quez’s drop in a big spot two years ago. Also was a huge stars fan would love to see a Vic article about that team and period.

You guys have talked a lot about how well the Eagles have drafted, and it’s crazy how they’re still reaping the benefits from past drafts. 2010 gave them Brandon Graham, 2012 brought Lane Johnson—both still key pieces. But take a look at the 2018 post-Super Bowl draft. That class quietly built the foundation for the last two Super Bowl runs: Goedert, Maddox, Sweat, Pryor, and Mailata. Five picks, five hits, and four are still on the team. That’s an insane success rate. Would love to hear your thoughts on that class!

Guys thanks for all the great pods and great analysis again this season. I really appreciate all the time and hard work you put into everything you do. Especially working above and beyond the call of duty during the Super Bowl. Dave my only suggestion would be to ask management for a super soaker so you can cool Roob off when he gets overheated in his takes. 😁

I’m not a big podcast person but this is my one exception! Dave and Roob strike the perfect balance of analysis and entertainment. The daily pods during the Super Bowl were so much fun, but even their training camp recordings are so insightful. Roob’s stats are the best. I come from a long line of eagles fans, and they allow me to keep up with my team while not living in Philly anymore.

Roob and Dave have more insight than any other Eagles pod. They add context and stats to their discussions , which is usually lacking elsewhere. They don’t always agree and I appreciate how honest and authentic they are with each other. The experience and relationships they have with Eagles present and past is so valuable , making Eagle Eye the most informative and enjoyable listen for Eagles fans. High quality hosts, content and insights. Go BIrds!

I grew up watching the Eagles with my dad, then watched less in adulthood. My dad passed in 2022 and I feel like he passed the torch back to me. Now obsessed. I listen to Eagle Eye as soon as the episodes come out. I love the added understanding from Dave and Roob about the game and the players. Almost as good as post game debrief with my dad.

Barev! (Hello in Armenian) Long time, first time. The Eagles are 4-0 while in Kelly green jerseys the past two years. It is a big game for both the team and fans, which boosts morale. What are the odds that the Eagles play a playoff game or even a Super Bowl in the Kelly Green jerseys?

I mostly like this podcast because this show contains die hard Eagles fans that are not scared to say what they need to say about the team mostly when there are close games the we won that were terrible play by Offense or Defense. They do a very good breakdown and they know there stuff to good Job! I like how they are so optimistic about our terrible losses like the 16-33 Tampa Bay game. Win or Loss they are still very loyal. To conclusion Fly Eagles Fly. This is a great podcast😎 My score prediction is Eagles 27-21 we should be Cincinnati GO BIRDS🦅.

You guys have done such a great job this summer with relaying the grind of camp to us and giving us a good perspective on the players on and off the field. Loved the pod even though not about football

I live in the lower Hudson Valley in NY, so I have traditionally relied on several Philly podcasts for all things Eagles. But recently, several have gone downhill, with silly banter, ridiculous takes, and poor analysis. But as the others have declined IMO, this one remains fresh, informative, unbiased, and continues to be my favorite one, hands down. Loved hearing about you guys on a more personal level most recently, and Roob, I agree that Napa/Sonoma/Northern California is just the best place to go within the US. Dave, I hope you make time to go to New Zealand, as I love hearing about your travel excursions as well. Can’t wait for the preseason to begin, and spending another year listening to you both. Keep up the great work Roob and Dave!!!

I used to really like this show. I listened all the time. I listened with my girlfriend. She started to like the show. I came home one day and she had posters of Rueben Frank on her wall. Rueben was the screensaver on her phone. She named her 3 cats Rueben, Roob, and Ruby. She told me that she’s leaving me because I’m not half the man Rueben Frank is. She told me that I’ll never know as many stats as roob. I still listen to the show, but it stings a little.

This podcast is my new favorite Eagles pod, now that SB Nation has terminated all their local sports podcasts. I have always loved Ruben and Dave’s content. No one is better informed than they are. That said, Reuben and Dave have a different energy vibe than the SB Nation pods. Lower energy and a bit somnolent at times.

Am I Realistic? I almost exclusively listen to podcasts. This is by far my favorite Eagles pod. But the clicking of the keyboard and mouse in my ear makes my skin crawl. No other podcast I’ve ever listened to have this awful clicking. you have got to fix it. I turned the episode off today.

IMO, this is the best Eagles podcast. Dave and Rueb provide a high level of insight about the inner workings of the team. I like the little tangents about local high school/college sports news. Also, I love the running joke about how great Matt Patricia is. Please keep it up. It makes me chuckle every time. One small critique: You could make a drinking game out of how many times “interesting” is said during an episode :D

Eagles Podcast, not the team. An anomaly is one bad game, maybe two. If you are Andy Reid or Belichek, it could be a bad year. This has been a lost season. I don’t care if we beat the Bucs, not really. We were so close to a Super Bowl a year ago, now it seems further away than in a very long time. Nick is a lame duck?

Thank you Dave and Roob for being a weekly companion. I’m a huge Eagles fan, but usually check out during the off season and focus on the Phillies and Sixers - but even then, your podcast is a must listen the day it’s released. I listen to a couple of the other Eagles podcasts - and you’re unsurpassed for access and Eagles information - but it’s not just the Birds talk, but also the chemistry and professionalism you guys have; by far the best Eagles podcast out there. I even listen for the music recommendations that Roob offers and have added a few bands to my list because of them. Keep up the great work and doing what you’re doing!

Is the episode talking about how will Matt Patricia do down the last 3 games. In this episode there were talks about jalen only have brown, smith and goedert to throw to. Something I kept asking while I was listening is, how many weapons does Dallas have? Chiefs? 49ers a little different because CMC, Deebo, ayuik and kittle. But how many weapons does an elite qb need to them stop making excuses. Love jalen, fantastic leader and qb. But he has been awful. Every play seems insanely hard on offense. Watching the 49ers, & Dallas games, couldn’t help but look at Dak and purdy. 1,2,3 throw. 1,2,3,4,5 throw. Everything has Rhythm. It’s either, jalen scrambling and getting some rushing yards or run around until he throws an incomplete almost picked off pass. Our team is so much better than to be talking like brown, smith and goedert aren’t enough to score more than 20 points… regardless, y’all are awesome. GO BIRDS #DuckFallas 🦅

To whomever mixes this show, please balance the levels between the two show hosts. Dave is often much louder than Ruben, but worse still is how much louder the ads are than the show. It makes for an uncomfortable listening experience at times, particularly when listening with ear buds.
