A good summary of recent trials. However critical appraisal is lacking. Proponent of “if it can be done it should be done.” Feb 19/25: there is no way "a point or two of systolic blood pressure reduction has a profound effect on lifetime cardiovascular risk". This defies credulity and lacks proof.

Dr. Eagle has an enormous fund of knowledge and accomplishments. Sadly, however, his reviews are superficial and cheerleading rather than critical analysis.

A can’t miss podcast. Really great, super-concise discussion of newest studies and trials, all with Dr. Eagle’s thoughtful perspective. Keep it up, acc.org!!

Excellent very helpful in clinical practice and resourceful

Dr. Eagle does a wonderful job of reviewing current literature in cardiology. As a cardiology PA/MSL, it can be difficult to keep up with the many studies that come out each month. This podcast is helpful to stay up to date and is straight to the point. Highly recommend for busy providers!

Gets to the point. No hot air.

Excellent, objective, concise, and very intelligent review of clinically relevant studies. Dr. Eagle brings a tremendous amount of experience to this review which makes it very easy to know how to change your practice based upon these important studies.

A great podcast overall. Concise and informative. Dr Kim Eagle is outstanding. Dr Deepak Bhatt occasionally steps in as a replacement. His podcasts are generally good as well, when you can make out what he is saying. Dismal microphone quality that seems like it could be easily fixed. The most recent podcasts are conducted jointly with Drs. Bhatt, Eagle and Dr Gabriel Steg. Dr Bhatt is the only one you can’t hear
