Jessica LipseyLCSW/MomI find these podcasts super helpful hearing the skillset of conscious discipline and the examples of how it has changed many lives. Although it's geared towards teachers I find it very helpful to apply as a mother. Thank you!!

YommazParallel of FaithWhen sharing CD with the faculty of my faith based school, the recurring question was posed, "How will we establish change without punishment?" My response was, "In the Old Testament God relied on fear and punishment to change the people of His creation. He sent pestilence, floods, ostracism to name a few. Nothing changed. Then, at some point God changed His approach. He sent His son to teach. Instead of fear, He taught love. Jesus spent His entire life teaching and when mankind errored, he forgave and taught again. My personal view is that if fear and punishment did not work for God, I don't have much hope of it working for me. I choose to live in the New Testament. I choose to teach"
