I’m sorry but this show would be so much better as a one man pod. All The Cranky guy does is whine about flights and how hard it is to get up for 6 am flights to fly to baseball playoff games. Boohoo. Seriously listen go back and listen to older episodes and drink every time he mentions a flight or an airline delay. Plus his audio is horrible which is probably a good thing

I’ll give them four stars. I like the show but some aspects really bother me. I’m give them the four stars mostly because I really like the perspective and analysis of the “Grump”. The “cranky fan” not so much . First his audio sounds second rate which really takes away from the show. Secondly I don’t find his contribution to the show to be in par with the “grump”. Keep working guys I know you have more but please upgrade the “cranky fan”audio.

There are too many Giants shows to choose from, I can save you some time; these guys are a must-listen. They’re not homers, they’re not haters.. they’re realistic about where we are and what we need to get to the next step.

Swerved into Grump and the Cranky Fan through Talkin’ Giants. I continue to sample The unaffiliated Giants podcasts, and in comparison to other team podcasts like theJets, the Browns, the Cowboys, etc, The New York Area has a variety of uneducated foul mouthed emotional fools who center their podcasts on showing everyone how much smarter they are than the Giants Organization and the fans who they tweet insultingly with. IMO, my current favorite podcast people are Bobby Springer, his partner Justin (not so much) and these two dudes, the Grump and the Cranky fan. They talk football strategy based on our playmaker strength and matchups versus each game day. The Post Podcast (Blue Rush) is light and fun and enjoyable, but more of a magazine. Big Blue Banter attempts to break down post games, but the moderator Dan Schmidt is far too emotional and insulting of the Giants organization. His partner is much more informed. The Giants Insider is a podcast where the owner Jerry, worships every thought that his partner Chris says. Chris is a super narcissist who speaks at an eighth grade level. Not tolerable. The Giants deserve better in depth analysis, and thank God for Bobby Springer, The Grump, and the Cranky Fan. I am a season ticket holder since ‘65, a fan since ‘56.

I find myself often correcting meaningless stats about meaningless conversations apart of truly a meaningless podcast, but here I am listening every week and giving a five star review… idk.

Glass half empty dudes in the most annoying way

I love this podcast. Grump and the Cranky Fan are extremely entertaining. For a couple guys who aren’t beat reporters they do a incredible job.

Great podcast from a couple of honest Giants fans- appreciate the in depth thoughts and analysis. Can’t wait to hear from you guys during the season!

I’ve listened to several different Giants pods over the last few years. So glad I found this one. If you are reading reviews of Giants podcasts, chances are you a diehard Giants fan. Chances are you also belong to a Giants FB group or 2. Chances are you follow a bunch of Giants media and/or Giants fans on Twitter. Chances are you have completely irrational takes on everything NYG related. Well, these guys are calm and rational and are a voice of reason in the insanity that is the NYG social media universe. Give them a listen.

These guys have intelligent takes and do it without screaming and ranting. One of the best giant pods out there.

Love you guys!! You are by far the best Giants podcast out there. Need that connection to the Worlds Best Football Team down here in NC (Panthers country)! But... (and you can leave this out of published reviews) pls stop w/ the conservative bashing (esp. during a show about understanding Gettlemens job isn't as easy or simple as drunken Monday morning, i was a great high school player but now i cant run a mile, armchair quarterbacks think). When you can see only one side of an argument you look stupid (and you guys aren't!). I would be happy to share stuff that makes Democrats look bad (violent crime stats by voting record). Fyi, im a Libertarian ....and think Trump is a Moron. But id like to think I'm smart enough to not throw stones at people who i don't fully understand or comprehend their world or plight. The world would be a better place if we were all kinder and less weak and victimized. You are only adding to the “Im smarter than you” culture that is so divisive. You guys sound like great guys and are the best Giants guys in the business ..... just remember, there are other Americans who are different than you are who don't deserve to be belittled listening to a sports podcast on their way to work in the morning. I found your podcast recently and love listening to it. It’s like reading a really good book and you hate when you reach the last page. You are honest and funny and call it as you see it. Thanks so much for your hard work and your time. I’ve been a Giant fan since I wandered by the tv and saw a bald man kneeling in grass with his head bleeding, and asked my Dad what happened. That was when I was 12 and it was YA Tittle that I noticed. Take care and thanks for helping me to know I’m not alone with what I think. Go Giants!!

At a time when there are multiple options for giants content in the podcast world and much of the same information is shared on all, these guys seem to have a take that is unique.

With a team where the beat reporters guide a lot of the conversation and coverage, the Just Giants Guys are one of the best fan podcasts! Their banter is fantastic and just very fun to listen to!

I am in range of WFAN but these guys are way more knowledgeable/entertaining!

These guys know their football and are consistently funny and interesting.
