I LOVE this show but have had to give it up because Ads come blasting through at any and all times. Feels like a bucket of ice water thrown on your head! It didn’t use to be this way.

They’re excruciating especially when they appear randomly in the middle of calls. It’s disrespectful and annoying.

I really enjoy this show. However lately they have been cutting in anywhere with ads. Not between callers but when someone is in the middle of a sentence. Then when they come back it’s not always right where they left off. Annoying to listen to.

In the first 26 mins of the episode there were two cases discusses which took about 5 mins the rest was advertising with a shirt introduction. When he discusses a case its good but it almost all a money grab. Most podcasts have a couple min ads during but this had 3 or 4 and multiple times.

I just love Bill Handel and used to listen to him on AM radio. His Handel on the Law show is lots of good advice infused with lots of sarcasm. He talks about useful subjects like wills and trusts, tenants and landlords, and people wanting to sue because they can’t open a door. He makes me laugh at least once during every podcast. Bill’s show is rapid fire advice like someone else mentioned.

It won’t be for everyone. He can be quite offensive, but usually not in an ignorant/prejudicial way. He addresses questions “machine gun style”, which is to say rapid fire. And he often doesn’t listen closely to the specific details and thus gives incorrect advice. But otherwise I enjoy the show.

Very entertaining but am constantly shocked at his political views. His personality would lead most to think he would think more conservatively BUT, it’s the extreme opposite-disappointing!

Came across this by accident on the radio, and the host has to be one of the most insufferably rude people I've ever heard speak.

I’ve been listening to Handle on the law for over 25 years. Love the show and wish it was longer on the podcast. One thing I don’t like is Handle tends to overtalks the caller and I can’t hear the whole story the caller is saying.

Been listening to Handle since 2002 via KFI and now thru Apple podcast. Not only does he not care about his listeners at all, he also gives them very poor legal advice. Merica!!

I’ve been listening to the show since I happened on it in 2016 & it has become an all-time fav. Bill is so clever & entertaining !!

And I can’t imagine getting through a week without it!

Handel is very knowledgeable about the law, I just wish he was a little less leftist at times.

I am a fanatic of 'Handel on the Law". When I need a good laugh, which is always, I stay tuned. If I miss the live streaming, then I listen to the podcasts as the commercials are not included.

I caught this one Sunday afternoon, maybe two decades ago. I was instantly hooked and since, have used his show to pass the time when traveling, multitasking around the house, or just in need of good laughs. Handel, without a doubt, sets a bar few radio or satellite entertainers could only hope to get near. We need more humor in this world and no one does it better!

I listen every Saturday and I understand there has to be commercials but the problem is that they cut to commercials in the middle of someone speaking all the time. I mean in the middle of a word then they come back in the middle of a different word. Kinda frustrating. Love Bill though!

This is among the best shows out there.

I’ve listened to Bill for years. It makes me a little crazy over insurance advice he gives. 15,000/30,000 in California is for bodily injury, not property damage to a car or property. It is possible a person could only have 5k in property damage.

Handel has had an excellent show for decades now.

I used to listen to Handle and was getting some what educated. Then one after noon the issue of same sex marriage came up and he strongly objected to the term “Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve”. I took it he was against straights only getting married. Well that ticked me off so off he went and stays off. Handle that!!

i’ve had legal problems in my time and i wish i had the insight of this gentleman’s firm telling me the truth as it is. no beating around the bush. just as his experience sees it. thank you

Just noticed the announcement at start of Handel on the Law podcasts says it’s a pre-recorded program. This confirms the same callers with the same problem on the podcasts week after week. Sure would like new material. Is the Saturday radio show no longer “live”?

I listen to this podcast every Sunday morning when I’m mowing the lawn. I absolutely love Bill’s attitude and it always makes me feel better about myself when I’m having a bad day and may feel like I’m stupid, knowing that there are many, many more people out there who are truly morons. Makes me wonder how some of these people manage to get dressed in the morning. Keep up the great work Bill!

I’ve listened to this show for years and enjoyed hearing Bill’s advice and his good humor. But I am sick of the hourly Let’s-Rip-Republicans crap. He has a clear disdain for the religious.

More than a marginal podcast! I have listened for over two decades. Having studied law and worked as a paralegal for more than twenty years, I listen to keep my analytical skills up. Since there are multiple areas of law that I do not practice, I test to see if I can evaluate the caller’s facts faster than Handel. Roughly half of the subjects are in my small wheelhouse, and I get some wrong. But Handel gets some wrong, too! Entertaining podcast! Mary should be Bill’s co-host/side-kick. Ha ha

It pains me to criticize this podcast when Bill’s show has given me so much entertainment for so many years. There has been a recent change to drop in commercials very abruptly during Bill’s calls. This is completely ridiculous and severely disrupts the flow of the shows. I probably won’t listen for much longer. I have attempted to contact anyone I could who is affiliated with Bill’s show, other KFI shows, and iheartmedia, and received no response. My only hope is that someone who can influence change reads these reviews and makes a change to this policy before everyone stops listening. If you have read this far and feel similarly please leave this podcast a negative review as well. Maybe together we can fix this!

my absolute favorite show!

This is the place for poor advice. Really doesn’t know much about the law and gives bad advice.

I used to love this show and this guy. Of late it has become too much 1) very similar calls 2) More opinions than I want 3) too many imbedded commercials and last and most annoying, very bad technical quality a) Often only art of teh show is recorded b) Sometime two episodes are spliced together someplace in mid discourse c) no clear cut end to the show If you think your device is infected or haunted. it probably isn’t; even you have not bought the stuff he flogs. Most likely it is sloppy technical work on the product. It has become too much of a nuisance As Bill used to say” life is tough and tougher if you are stupid.” Listening is tough of the people doing the technical work are incompetent.

Love Bill love the show. Hate the lack of attention put in to either formatting or posting. There are sooooo many that the files are corrupt or not uploaded correctly. This is an actual radio station KFI in CA and it has these issues. This the care and attention to uploading is lack luster at best. Leaving a ton of listeners and potential add revenue generators out because it’s sometimes unbearable. A kid in a garage can make an amazing podcast with content and file being wonderful, yet a big radio station can’t get it. Makes no sense. Points to lack of care for the listeners. Again, love Bill and love the show....if I am listening live

Funny and informative

The memories of traveling on vacations, from my home to a lake cottage and so many other “enjoyable” car rides! I love the humor and content. Right up there will Bruce Williams, Barry Farber, Rush Limbaugh and so many of the great radio hosts!

I love this show. I listen every week. I liked it better when it was on longer, from 6-11, but he’s getting old and needs more time off LOL, JK. But, he is often wrong regarding auto/home insurance claims. I’ve been in the industry for 40 years so I have some experience. Like a couple weeks ago he said he’d never heard of such a thing as homeowners “Med Pay” coverage, only “Liability” coverage. Every homeowner policy has Med Pay, which pays money to someone and doesn’t require liability or a lawsuit. Anyway, great show!

I occasionally listen to Mr. Handel on Saturdays (afternoon re-broadcast). I finally found the podcast, and I am doing catchup from months ago. My favorite is when a caller from Southern California asked about certain lawyers in his area. Mr. Handel mentioned he would have no trouble finding any quality lawyer for his case. I laughed (and the caller, too) when Mr. Handel added if the caller just happened to live in the Appalachian mountains he may have some concern. If he found a lawyer there, the lawyers may want to break off for lunch and have a squirrel sandwich, and then come back to work on his case.

I just found this podcast after listening for years on the radio, which I could only find very rarely, on like Sunday morning at 6 am. I thought Bill’s charming, your not only a moron, but you really should not have children attitude is ruthlessly hilarious. But after binge listening today. The bumper music. There is no way Handle picked that, and if he did, I’m impressed. I feel like I just won a lottery!
