zane394Such a smart showThis new version of the show has great chemistry between the hosts, is smart and always interesting. Also, I love Radhika Jones’ voice. I would totally listen to any mediation app she wants to record for.

OldhipgalSo many new perspectivesI think this show has become really fascinating. Every week i hear about a new concept/perspective I hadn’t considered. Thanks to the staff for thinking outside the box when putting the content together- very intellectually stimulating!

Poz Pod GeekBring Back Brian!!!Radhika is smart, probably. An astute and fine editor, I’m sure. But a total snooze to listen to. The Vanity Fair brand should marry Hollywood glamour and pizzazz with thoughtful commentary and charisma. This would be an excellent recap if describing a Board of Directors meeting at Vassar in the ‘80s, insisting on relevance while stinking of moth balls and marmalade. Because there’s nothing worse than a mid delivery by a chief. I don’t need the CEO of a mattress company to narrate its podcast ad to me. In fact, please don’t. Also… poor Brooklyn guy! It’s giving the second assistant who doesn’t get to accompany Miranda to Paris Fashion Week. (But props to the first assistant who totally brown nosed her way back to awards season ‘26!) This episode validates keeping only my New Yorker subscription to satiate all my arts/entertainment and in-depth intellectual, coastal elite content needs. It’s gonna be an unfollow for me, VF :-(.

PxlQuantZJoe Bidens legacyYou both dropped the ball in a big way, but no more than much of the other media does. Much of what you said is true, but you don’t seem to get WHY it’s true. You both need to get out of your echo chambers.

BasketballMamaObeying in AdvanceI am really disappointed that you are going back to CNN while they had the lowest ratings on tv last week. I refuse to watch any cable show (aka news). You could have supported your family in ways that allowed you to keep your dignity.
-
Big Tuna Stamford BranchExcellent ShowVery smart discussions. Brian is as plugged-in as it gets.

cmdmbeyond boring…you don’t have one interesting guest…and you’re just as boring…
-
CellowanGreat job, BrianIf you need to be convinced to subscribe to this podcast, listen to the episode with Nate Silver. Brian kept the pace going very nicely by asking many great questions. Brian is a rare talent that ought to be recognized more. Thanks, Brian, and keep up the great work.
-
gray pawGreat startLoved the interview with Chris Matthews These interviews are timely, concise, just plain well done and interesting for our present issues. Thank you

MCH DebAre you better today - feedback showShow thought Obama handed over a thriving economy to 45….. 45 handed over a bucket of ash to Biden - Hence the high inflation Love the show

TrixeebelleKatey Rich was irreplaceableWithout her it’s unlistenable. Unsubscribed.

KalfisherRoger Mcnamee/ Silicon Valley politicsBig fan of the show, Mr Seltzer is a thoughtful host, I tend to get something out of each episode, a new data point to argue out in my head as I do dishes, etc. todays episode with Roger Mcnamee has taken this next level, I have stopped and rewound and listened and then stopped, rewound again, and gave it a third listen, McNamee makes a compelling argument and on a topic I was so sure I had fairly strong, clear ideas about. AI as a model of how the tech economy’s push for monopolistic power and in doing so, fails to create a technology that can add value, as opposed to profiting at the expense of the users. It’s very Victorian, I sort of didn’t even realize that I have been blindly presuming the value of ai was just unclear to me, that it would soon be obvious. Anyway, wow, great guest great episode. It’s so refreshing to hear McNamee’s take, he’s def left me with a new perspective. Bravo!

KittyShulChristian NationalismAnother informative interview with very knowledgeable guests.

FRGFBSPrivileged maleBrian loves to play the middle to garner the most ears and eyes. His rhetoric is old. He’s a straight, white and rich male. Stop pretending that you’re in a position to tell women, POC, LGBTQI+, etc how to feel. I used to like listening to you but no longer. Eventually VF will realize what CNN already has, you’re lost. Time for you to start a right wing blog.

ToodybirdBrian shinesThis is your platform, Brian, so I am glad you left CNN. Your podcasts are so engaging. I always search for your newest release.

treetopbirdTrump Trial CoverageEngaging and informative! I’m listening regularly to keep updated. Thnx!

Not BraindeadExcellent reporting by the knowledgeable Brian StelterStill sorry Brian lost his CNN show. Love his deeply knowledgeable perspective about the media, particularly Fox News. He really knows his stuff.
-
Baywood ResidentColumbineVery disconcerting to hear this so guest generalize about how “resilient” the Columbine kids were after the tragedy. Talk to, listen to, and review the research on the PTSD, trauma, depression experienced in the months, years, and now a quarter century later, by many of the students and teachers who were there, as well as the secondary survivors such as parents and siblings. Gut wrenching.

aea sophiaSenator fr HawaiiExcellent choice of guest giving practical insights into government - good & bad. Brian Steltser is a great host . Poses excellent thoughtful questions And gives guest plenty time to answer.
-
Lulu3305Latest podcastThank you for having this Senator on. He sounded sane and rational which is what we need now.

DaniYogaTTI love Brian Stetler❤️💕🥰This is a great podcast. I only got through the pandemic because Emily and Joe were so good. But nowadays I just appreciate this great pod because Stetler is so cool
-
BostonIrishRulesGreat podMiss Brian on TV. Need more exposure to smart informed honest media criticism and analysis. Especially before this national election
-
ifuseekaeDo the WorkMolly sounds like she made up her list of queries fifteen minutes before the interview and needs a vocal coach badly. Brian dials it in. Thankfully the interview subjects save you by conjuring a point to your questions. The Vanity Fair name is also helping. Do the work.

FrancescaCrBrian drives interested conversationsI really enjoyed how Brian Stelter elevated Reliable Sources on CNN, and I was pleased to find him hosting this podcast for Vanity Fair. He has always driven smart, engaging conversations that look at multiple viewpoints.
-
Baileybuddy30Glad your back Brian! The Monica Lewinsky show gave a new perspective on this beleaguered woman . Bravo, she’s quite articulate! Thanks. Geri O ‘Hara
-
RobSubIt’s not Reliable Sources but a good sourceThis podcast gives a good insight into different aspects of the media and its role on politics and society. The negative reviews from people are simply knee jerk responses to anything that they can’t understand or process. These people have cognitive dissonance to the fullest extent. Give the podcast a listen if you want to discern the current state of social, political and cultural affairs.
-
LLMcK1Brian StelterI enjoy this podcast very much, Brian is an expert in media and politics
-
ReginaldDwightFive stars for Joe Hagan’s RFK reportingAlso, Brian’s stint on CNN hosting ‘Reliable Sources’ was often plagued by the exact faults that Micael Wolff called him out for on that show in 2021. Brian is showing improvement in tone on ‘Inside the Hive’. Less patronizing toward guests who may not genuflect toward his opinions.
-
K362paSmart and snappy podcastI very much enjoyed Brian’s analysis on CNN, so was tickled when he appeared on this podcast. He offers the same no-nonsense analysis here. What I like best is these are 30 minutes - not an hour fueled with fluff. He gets right to the point, he has interesting guests, and addresses intriguing topics. A must-listen is his latest with the two Harvard professors who talk about their book “Tyranny of the Minority.” Loved it and listened to it twice.
-
sandiegogrammaWhere’s Joe and Emily? I miss their voices and story content!!!What happened???
-
KiroChapLove this show!I have loved all the iterations of this show with the various hosts. Currently, I am enjoying Brian Stelter’s analysis. Vanity Fair was smart in snatching him. It’s CNN’s loss.
-
BurdyblueNo on JB PritzkerLooks terrible as a short morbidly obese man!!! Since when did you marketing strategists forget that charisma and looks take precedent among the electorate?! That’s why people are being prejudiced by the media re: Joe. He is no older much than Trump. I prefer healthier looking Joe! Pritzker looks gross and his last name is just as bad.
-
Kappadon2Why?Why on earth did you replace Emily Jane Fox with this simpleton? The show is sooooo dumbed down now. The interviews are mediocre at best since the change. May give this show (and this simpleton) one more episode, and if it continues to provide zero added value on the events of the day, I’ll simply reluctantly move on.
-
Sunny WunderPodcast about Rudy GiulianiBrian, very informative podcast. I would suggest you might want to learn more about people with substance abuse problems such as alcohol. Substance abuse changes the brain. It is one of the reasons why people with substance abuse have a difficult time with cognitive abilities and self-awareness. Rudy unfortunately appears to have problems in that area and if you do some investigative work, you’ll find out many people that are in the limelight, including politicians have substance-abuse problems.

KS shopping nativeStelter is excellentBrian was great on CNN. Reliable Sources is missed. But glad we have Hive podcast.
-
jtla87I miss Emily and JoeHope they return soon!
-
BibliophileGNew host vs legacy hostI miss Emily Jane Fox, et al. Brian S is good for reporting on the machinations of media entities/process/etc. For current cultural buzz or deep dive profiles, I don’t feel this is his “beat”.
-
Bogster1942Brian Stelter…KudosMust confess I was a sporadic listener in the past , but now that Brian Stelter has arrived I never miss an episode… professional newscaster/interviewer knows the right questions to ask….
-
Magpie JinxDangerous MTG05:11 “I hesitate…” sadly not enough hesitation lol. She may be changing but I can’t agree she’s evolving. A week after this interview dropped, MTG crossed another line in a congressional hearing when she held up a large picture of Hunter Biden in a sexual act. Her line of questioning was may have been meant to humiliate the Biden’s, maybe cause Biden supporters to rethink their support, but it was essentially irrelevant to proceedings. Besides her actions possibly being criminal it was juvenile and disrespectful to the congressional body itself. I’m not convinced that she actually understands what her job is supposed to be.
-
Beans66Keep StelterI’m a great admirer of Brian Stelter and miss Reliable Sources very much. He is largely the reason I listen to this podcast.
-
judianna1321Where are Joe and Emily? I won’t listen to Brian Stelter.Used to love it. I’ll listen again when Joe and Emily are back
