Shining the Spotlight Where it Counts
This is one of the most informative aviation podcasts out there. BG does solid research and puts out quality content intended to keep listeners educated and up-to-date. If you want to learn more about the SR-71, Concorde, or people who really make a difference in aviation, you’re where you need to be.

Excellent general aviation podcast for pilots!
If you’re a GA pilot, this podcast is for you! Real world, educational and entertaining. Brandon’s Concord series is sensational listening.

    Wow
I just recently became aware you had a podcast. I’m not even a podcast guy, I only found out because of a Facebook post you made a week or two ago. So I checked out your website and downloaded the Apple Podcasts app (because I delete apps I don’t use) and started at episode 1. I’m hooked! You’re killing it! I’ve done a lot of jumping around out of order just because I thought I’d find the ones I skipped to most interesting. However, I’ve discovered that if I just let it play, so far everything I’ve heard is interesting and relevant. Relevant being the key word. It’s all stuff I’ve enjoyed listening to, and so far I haven’t been able to pull myself away from a single episode. Keep it up!

    Always interesting, ultra professional
I learned about Brandon’s podcast when he appeared as a guest on one of my other favorite podcasts - Max Trescott’s “Aviation News Talk”. Brandon was interesting and very articulate and brought his insights from both sides of the mic, which is always good food for thought for any pilot and especially for me, getting back into flying this year after being out of it for 22 years. After discovering the podcast I have now worked my way through listening to every episode of “Podcasting On A Plane” that Brandon has recorded, a delightful undertaking because his content is varied in topics but always fascinating and presented with a great deal of careful thought and top production values. I recommend every episode, but if you want to check out a select few to see if it’s the right thing for you, I recommend episodes 46, 33-36 (Concorde week), 17, 19, 39, 11, 21, 32, 38, 28, 26. And of course Brandon’s own story in Episode 1.

    My only podcast
I came to listen to this podcast the other way around. First I knew that voice from 118.6, then an I saw Brandon at an FAA presentation and only then did I hear about Podcasting on a plane. IT’S GREAT! You should listen in too. Sparky.

    Great podcast for Pilots!
I’m a Student Pilot with 20 hours of flight time. Brandon does a great job of humanizing the ATC aide of aviation and does an excellent job bridging the gap between pilot and ATC in a fun and entertaining way. Thank you for the great content!

    Excellent podcast
This is one of the best aviation podcasts available, bringing pilots into contact with the world of ATC.

    Great subject, Great Production
ATC is one my favorite subjects in aviation. I greatly admire the importance of this profession in keeping the skies safe in the US. Brandon discusses ATC and other aviation subjects in a very clear manner. He is very open to feedback and has held many jobs in aviation including being a flight instructor. Recently, he did a multi-part series about Concorde and interviewed a Captain about his career and the ultimate demise of Concorde program. His passion for aviation comes through in each episode. I also like how he doesn’t necessarily have a set podcast release schedule. The episodes just seem to come out when he has content that is fresh, and not just filling space to meet a regular schedule. Keep it up, Brandon and thanks for a great podcast. Goooood Day!

    Solid content, easy to listen
Brandon has struck a chord. I checked it out after it being recommended by a friend, not giving it much chance. 45 minutes later, I was still interested. I’ve now listened to all of them and am looking for the next show to pop up. Great job Brandon!!

    One of my favorite podcasts
This is one of my favorite podcasts, and I look forward to every new episode. I have learned a lot from the podcasts and I really enjoy the perspective from a controller.

    Excellent aviation podcast
Brandon hosts an excellent aviation podcast, and his knowledge of both the ATC and pilot (instructing) side of things brings a lot of insights to each eposide. (FWIW, I like it enough to bother making an itunes account to leave a review! And BG - no need to play this review on the show :)

    Revs up your aviation dreams!
As a serious aviation geek, I'm loving this podcast. Brandon delves into all aspects of aviation - from current events/news, to training and procedures discussions, to some really, REALLY interesting interviews with people who are, have, or will be great aviators themselves. The most recent 4-part Concorde series is just awesome. If you love aviation, this is a fabulous podcast.

    Fantastic
I’ve listened to quite a few episodes now. I really enjoy the podcast and Brandon’s attention to detail really shows in the quality of his show. His guest selection is top notch as well.

Learning so much from you. Wicked good.
Student pilot. Old guy too 56. Spent 35 years in radio news. Now following my dream carefully. Always fly with qualified SIC. One really funny thing. Since I was in radio news for so long enunciation was absolutely critical. We also had generous amounts of time compared to ATC. Youre delivery as a podcaster has the cadence of a controller , especially when you read cool articles. You have very little to do in the improvement area , your podcasts are VERY well done but ... dude slow down- on the body of you broadcast. We love your show , go to 80% speed. No at all advice or critique ... just an interesting difference where we've spent our professional lives. Keep doing great things. Hope to meet you one day. Preston Root prestonroot.com 386-295-0916

Having seemingly worked in just about every aviation related field out there, Brandon Gonzales brings a unique, multi-angled perspective to the world of aviation podcasts. Worth your time.
Although there is many and many aviation podcasts out there, Brandon sure makes this one unique from the other ones. Even though the I do enjoy the other aviation podcasts it sure is nice to hear from a local guy but even yet a person who is both an Air traffic controller and a Pilot.

The first podcast was awesome and very personal. Anyone who's survived an engine out will appreciate the first person account of a plane crash. Looking forward to more.
