Miriam FaithGood podcast!I enjoy listening to these ladies, and appreciate their research. I do think that they lean a bit towards a legalistic/fear-driven mindset. I also really wish they’d update the intro, as the whole “check it, we keep it realz” line is pretty cringey, undermines the seriousness of their material, and has definitely made me hesitate to recommend the show to other moms.

Kannette DAwesome podcast!I have been listening to this podcast for awhile and love it. I rarely comment but was so blown away by the recent episode on Back to School Encouragement that I felt compelled to write a review. Every parent needs to hear this one! It is packed with so much wisdom and I plan to listen to it again and probably a third time just to unpack it all again and share some of this with my kids. I love that resources and references are included in the episode notes. Thank you Mama Bear Apologetics!!!

L12900Mostly great, but mixed bag for meI have been encouraged by and learned from a bunch of these podcasts. The variety of topics are quite interesting and often applicable to me. However, I just listened to the one about yoga and feel it’s quite legalistic and also misinformed. I do not promote yoga as a Christian because of it’s Hindu background. But unfortunately, the hosts go on to laugh at actually scientific things like grounding and forest bathing. I am a Christian and integrative nutrition health coach, and I do understand these topics well. These don’t have to do with chakras, and no one thinks doing those will simply take away your burdens. There are proven mental and physical health benefits to both walking in the forest (doctors in Japan actually prescribe this for depression) and to grounding. Grounding is being barefoot on the earth. Energy is not a “fringe theory” or just a feeling. It’s scientific. Our bodies are electrical. There is electricity and ions in our environment. We ground a house’s electricity and we can do the same for our bodies. There is a surplus of positive ions in our environment because of things that radiate, like phones, microwaves and wifi. This causes issues like inflammation. The earth and moving water (like rivers or ocean) emit negative ions. When we spend time near or in either, our ions balance out and inflammation is greatly reduced. This is *not* a spiritual thing. This is why you can buy an ionizer for your house just like you can buy an air filter. Just like if you breathe, sleep and eat well (take care of you body), you will feel better. You can simultaneously steward your body well and trust in God.

JoJoLITLove this family!I found your page through my sister in law and I love your family content! Bethany encourages me to be a better wife and mom! Thank you for being so transparent and for reassuring us moms that God is in the details of our lives!
-
MamaBearErikaX3The Word of God is Living and ActiveI feel so encouraged as a momma. I recently started reading the book and craved hearing more about apologetics. For myself and my little “babies”. This podcast is so helpful! I have appreciated the diversity in topics, the various speakers, but what really stood out is the women took time to pray at the end of each episode… don’t ever drop that! May God continue to supply and strengthen you with wisdom to the world in need of salt and light! -Mama Bear Erika
-
KSommersFEncouraging in a confusing worldI am so grateful for this ministry and resource! I continue to come back here again and again as my children grow and come home with new questions. Mama Bear helps me organize the thoughts and knowledge of the Truth I already believe so that I can share it thoughtfully, lovingly, and coherently with my kids.
-
Amyree75ThankfulI’m so thankful for this ministry! For those of us who are, um…conversationally challenged, this is a great resource!
-
TN Bluegrass FanGreat Podcast!Thank you for mentioning Grandmama Bears! I have found your podcast & books very helpful as I want to help with my granddaughters!
-
LillianCarlsonThank you!Just finished listening to Part 2 of the Palestinian Israel conflict. Very clear conversation of these critical issues. So many young adults are also confused and misdirected because of the social media influence and lack of biblical understanding. Loved your book Mama Bear Apologetics - did this with our moms group at church. Keep up the great work!
-
TheOriginalGilmoreIsrael/HamasI’d love a roar through the charter! I don’t know how to comment on the specific episode but you asked for comments so here it is.

Ginamk18Always impressed!I have learned so much and my own faith has been strengthened through Chris podcast and the MBA books. They offer great resources. I often listen to the podcasts with my kids and we have great conversations! I appreciate the viewpoints of the biblical world view and how we can live this out. They also have great guests that speak on relevant topics.
-
bitha4May not agree, but still worth listeningAs another reviewer mentioned, I too was a little disappointed with episode 10 due to the clear politically conservative leaning of the hosts. I understand that for older kids it’s an unavoidable topic, but I’d much prefer for them to leave politics out of it because though theology should definitely inform how we vote, devout Christians land in various places on the political spectrum. And many of the “end of the world” proclamations the left touted at Trump’s election were echoed by the right four years later. I’m still going to keep listening because, as they say, we should unite around the truth, which is far more important than political parties.
-
ZavertnikOne Thing MissingI just listened to the podcast on the occult influencing our kids today! It’s such a good listen and I can see, looking back on my own experiences, exactly where I unknowingly invited unwanted spiritual interactions. Thank you for yet another great podcast episode. My only request is scripture references for the verses mentioned or the scripture to reference and back up the apologetics. I did go digging in my Bible for a few key verses to go with this episode but it would be so so awesome if we could hear more bible references and not just quotes. Love what you ladies are doing here! Looking forward to new episodes!

Eyes all overKaraThis podcast is excellent! I love hearing the people you interview as it’s always relevant to what’s going on in culture. My kids are all grown and I’m entering Grandma stage-so keep the info coming!!

R.A.G.E. MinistriesMust listen for every parent!Just the best! This isn’t just for moms. Dads you need to tune in.

rfreddy89So encouragingI can’t believe how helpful this is to articulate the importance of biblical worldview to our kids! Episode 82 so amazing!
-
Trojan 02I enjoy listeningI realize enjoy listening to your points of views, the insights that you give, and awareness that you bring up on issues that relate to the culture that surrounds our children.
-
Kwphotog73Worth your timeEvery episode is chock-full of important info I need to learn and share with my family. Please keep up all the great work and insight!

HaleskrisDisappointingAfter starting MBA, I decided to start the blog. Extremely disappointed by episode 10. Divisive views with no scripture to back up the opinions. How are you going to play conservatism as a negative? Do you not believe in the sanctity of marriage, the creation of man and woman, life at conception? How have the last two years gone vs the four prior? Good with indoctrination of your kids with your leftist, divisive viewpoints?
-
Profitable Pet SitterBinge listeningCan’t get enough of this informative and encouraging word. Keep it ladies
-
hwinschEpisode 10I started loving this show and truly was looking for a Christ filled show that would be a great addition to my drive in the mornings. Episode 10 was on the election in 2016 and man it blasted the Christian’s that voted for Trump. I don’t know what their intentions were but making Christians feel bad for voting him isn’t the way to handle it. I am very sad and disappointed bc y’all really were so biased on this episode and I was looking for real Christian advice on how to communicate with my child about elections. Instead y’all just added to the division and problem we are constantly faced with every single day and not once did y’all put any biblical references in this episode other then referring to the fruits of the spirit. You both really let your biased opinions show and over shadow what the word would say.
-
AbctjbBLM EpisodeI’m Christian and Black and I couldn’t stomach this episode. They are going out of their way to find things wrong with some of the BLM messaging. Empathy, Love, nothing biblically wrong with those but she’s digging asking if it’s for white people? This comment may go unnoticed but I pray for both of the women in this episode. People need empathy regardless. God loves us and he calls us to love, even when it’s difficult. Not saying you have to support someone’s lifestyle but share Gods love.
-
Sam and Ben's momKeep up the great workAppreciate all of your hard work to equip parents. 👏👏 I just encourage your listeners to know Truth for themselves by studying the Bible inductively and as a result their spiritual backbone will get stronger. It’s the difference between having first hand knowledge of Scripture instead of just second hand knowledge. It makes ALL the difference.
-
Kattron8More based on opinion than scriptureThe BLM episode actually tells you how public schools are bad and aiming to indoctrinate your children. Their arguments against apologizing to those you have wronged aren’t based on scripture but on political viewpoints. It is extremely biased, and again, I didn’t hear any scripture to back up their arguments.
-
H0peACEncouraging and So so goodLove it so much. The biblical worldview being discussed and made understandable on my level is amazing. I’m so thankful for these ladies sharing their knowledge and bringing in other people in our Christian community who speak truth and inform me and guide me in things that I don’t know all the info about as I navigate the wild adventure that is raising a kiddo in this world. So thankful for God and these ladies faithfulness for this ministry and podcast!
-
MuiiiioExcellentSuch a great resource for moms and even dads! They cover many topics that are hard to talk about and hard to find legitimate resources for.
-
HONEST_REVIEWS101This is exactly what I have been looking for.I am a mother with 2 teenage daughters and these help me know how to handle the minefield that we call living in this world
-
MintJulepzWonderful resourceI’ve been digging into apologetics for years because I find it fascinating. And it has helped prepare me to field some of the big, tough questions my kids ask me. When my husband recommended MBA, I was skeptical at first because I thought it must be “fluff” if the book was sold at Target. I couldn’t have been more wrong! These ladies are incredible at what they do, and I’m so grateful for their resources, as well as the outside resources they recommend. I found the podcast after thoroughly enjoying the MBA book, and now I am hooked! I listen while doing yard work and cooking, and I dig in deeper to the show notes, articles, and recommended reading after my kids go to sleep. Keep up the good work (and the Great Commission), Mama Bears!
-
ADW1937Good show!Great content but please STOP interrupting your guests! It’s so distracting.
-
............1987Great content minus “hoorah”Interviewing people that are doing great things for the kingdom always excites me. But the cheesy “hoorahs” are killing me! Just omit that word and this podcast would be so much better.
-
hhhhhhhhhiiiiijjjGood for Papa Bears TooI’m a big fan of this podcast. I’m what most would probably describe as a very masculine man. I love God, I love my wife, I fish, shoot, military background in the combat arms, very physically fit, and I see the war being waged for my three kids’ hearts and minds every day. Why mention all that about myself? Because dads you need to get in this fight too and MBA is not just for moms. I would highly recommend this to parents in general and I get a lot of good information including what are the enemies’ current tactics (lies), how to identity and combat those tactics, and how to facilitate and lead your kids through critical thinking. Also this podcast helps parents yes FG their kids how to reason, cut through the crap and get to the truth found in God’s Word. Highly recommend and keep up the good work ladies.
-
Aspiring NYC GardenerGreat Podcast and BooksDoes anyone else tear up every single time at the “We are all in this together” statement during the closing music? ☺️🥲
-
MegalottoChristmasI loved listening to the Christmas podcast and pagan roots, I was hoping to hear about “Tammuz the Son of the Sun God” who was reborn through his mother. If all these other gods were born around Dec 25th, and I KNOW Jesus wasn’t born during that time, then I don’t want to even associate Christ with that time.. Plus I don’t think a Christmas tree, and Santa, please my Lord and Savior. It doesn’t glorify him in any way. Christ never asked us to celebrate his birthday. That’s why I just don’t celebrate it.
-
LarawaggA Review for the actual contentI had to leave a review because I saw some one star reviews that are clearly from people who take a secular worldview, and decided to let rating this podcast be an out for their negative feelings towards the church/Christianity. This podcasts is for parents wanting to equip themselves to better help their children navigate a secular world, and have a firm foundation for their faith. To those who review it as “brainwashing” they couldn’t be more wrong as one, it is speaking to the parents and two, they keep their discussion super open and are definitely aware of the feelings of those who disagree. I love the passion these ladies have for today’s youth, and as a parent I am grateful for this show.
-
medaniels_💯⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Can’t love this enough!! I can’t put the book down! Thank you for talking about real issues and giving such practical advice!!

JoyfilledMamaLove it!Love the podcast, love the book. We need this so much in today's world.
-
JilliSueJust what we needThis podcast and other resources by MBA are just fantastic. As a mom of two and lifelong Christian there are many things I need to pass along to my children that can be quite complex, but this podcast helps break down those topics for me. MBA offers great discussion, resources, food for thought, and encouragement. THANK YOU and keep it up!
-
vanessalinkLife-long Christian, New momThank you! I also grew up in the church, but was exposed to reformed theology in middle school. I believe God protected my faith this way. Now I want to equip myself to better translate for my children. Important take-away so far, “apologetics is not to win people into the kingdom, but to remove stumbling blocks.” Great resource!
-
I choose TruthFrom a PapaEaster is most certainly Pagan at its roots. If Easter was Christian from its origin, wouldn’t it reference Christ. Verbal gymnastics to keep your holiday, ridiculous. I love this show but, please. Christmas is all about Christ, so I love it. Certainly not a salvation issue, but making excuses for it???? I hope immature believers skip this one.
-
PrudentMamaKindred spiritsHonestly I know it’s cheesy but I feel like I have found my people. People who passionate for the Lord yet also make you sit back and evaluate how you think the Christians life ought to look. Mama Bear Apologetics is here to help equip us as mamas, as Christians women, sister, friends, and I am ready for it! Thanks for all the hard work.
-
MsLiteBlueWomen’s voices in apologeticsThis podcast is so amazing. I love having a woman’s voice in apologetics.
-
Barstow75Wow 🙄🙄🙄Disapproving of lgbtq relationships. Judge not.
-
WendyGirl802Such a treasure trove!I found mama bear apologetics about a year ago. I started reading the book and it really ministered to my heart. No one has addressed growing up in the Evangelical church as a child and the theological road blocks you might have until I read Mama Bear Apologetics. This podcast encourages me as a mom to my spiritual assignment God has given me through my children. I’ll leave each episode feeling equipped with deeper theology understanding, passion to lead my children, and encouragement that with Christ, I can raise children who will be equipped with the belt of truth. I appreciate the host humility, authenticity, and ability to take complex topics and make them understandable. Thank you for this ministry!
-
amhoogbuskerSo important!Apologetics is so important for us to learn it to teach our children. Highly recommend the book also!
-
frstimemomHelpful and encouragingLearning about how to share the Truth of Scripture with your kids (and others) into a world of brokenness. It can be infuriating and discouraging when as a believer in Jesus looks at the news or their newsfeed- but seeing the Light shine and seeing the Truth applied can encourage the heart! This helps me prepare my mind for future conversations that may come up. It also reminds me about how important my personal Bible reading is.
