Became hooked on the DCL Podcast while planning our first cruise - Lake and Christy can help turn even a new cruiser into a Disney cruise expert! They and their guests have great takes on the entire fleet and itineraries, and they do an amazing job hosting the show while not making it all about them. Post-cruise, I still get excited for every episode release, especially when it’s about DCL!

I just went on my first Disney cruise and came across this podcast doing research. So helpful! Learned everything I needed and then some! Only downside is how jealous I am of all the amazing trips Christy and lake go on. Major goals!!

I love this podcast! It is always so fun and it is so informative! I loved it that Christy is gluten-free like myself so I love all her tips and tricks! I also love getting to hear about all different types of cruises and hear the team review the new ships! This is truly one of my favorite podcast to listen to and I’m so thankful for it!

Entertaining and informative! This podcast is a regular for me out running, in the car, or doing other things around the house. They make the time fly by! Great for new cruisers trying to get a sense of What cruising with Disney is all about and great for veteran cruisers who can pick up new ideas via the experiences that guests share.

I started watching when Steve was still the host and I am so glad Christy and Lake decided to keep it going. I love the energy and their points of view. Please keep at it!!

Long time listener here. This show has always provided excellent information & is a great little mental escape while I’m waiting for my next Disney Cruise!

I have mixed feelings about this show and about the general experience of a DCL based on this show. Some thing that is positive about the show is that I’ve learned helpful information regarding traveling on DCL and when to travel types of activities available at port and advice on how to pack. In the other hand I started listening to this show because I’ve gone on cruises with other cruise ship companies that are family oriented but never did DCL. I was curious about the experience. I think this show does a good job of giving some specific cruising experiences and setting realistic expectations for listeners. However learning about crowded experiences on the ship, listening to entertainers that you can barely hear makes me very concerned about whether throwing down the money for this experience is worth while. I’m going to keep listening to better understand how this vacationing experiences balance out.

I have enjoyed this podcast for all my Disney cruise line tips tricks and I formation. When I first found the podcast I interacted mostly with Steve and this podcast was the first stateroom door magnet I received and a personal letter from Steve that I have saved over the years. I am very thankful for that interaction. Fast forward and now Steve has passed the helm to lake and Christy and the outstanding chemistry and knowledge continues on. I enjoy both the short and long format of the podcast and keep coming back for more. I look forward to being on the podcast one day and sharing more DCl tips and tricks. My favorite DCL podcast - I learn so much from each show and love listening to the trip reports. A must listen if you’re into cruising or planning a Disney Cruise! Just be careful because you will definitely be influenced to book more Disney cruises 😂 but if you do definitely use Christy as your TA! We use her for all of our trips and she’s the BEST!

While my family and I are obsessed with Disney Cruises, we also love other cruise lines. This podcast caters to our love of DCL, but also has interesting content on the cruise line industry as a whole. I love to hear about other people’s experiences on this podcast as I dream about what our family’s next cruise will be.

I have been listening to this podcast since pre-pandemic years and it has always been a wealth of information. The hosts and entertaining and informative. Christy and Lake are doing a great job, and I like that Steve and Nova drop in from time to time too. Having a variety of topics (other cruise lines, ABD, Aulani, etc) keeps things interesting as well. Keep up the great work!

My family and I are about to embark on our first cruise. This podcast has been super beneficial in the planning process. I love that they talk about everything from food allergies to special needs and of course all the fun stuff.

I’ve really enjoyed listening to The DCL Podcast for the last year. I enjoy the trip reports and specific cruising tips, as well as the variety of hosts. I’m still working on backlist episodes while waiting for my next sail date. It’s impossible not to want to book more sailings while listening to all the fun trip reports on this podcast!

I do not go on any Disney Cruises without listening to this helpful podcast. The hosts and the guests are the best. I love this podcast! The hosts are great, and they are seasoned fans of cruising and Disney Cruise Line. They usually have guests talking about their experiences with different itineraries, travel to and from the port, or they talk about their own experiences. It’s great to research or get ideas for future cruises or reminisce about cruises you’ve taken. One of the hosts is gluten free and they talk about this which is great info for those with gluten free family members. Christy is a travel agent and a wealth of Disney travel knowledge. I definitely recommend this podcast!

I love listening to Steve, Christy, Nova and the guests talk about their experiences with DCL. The hosts are great and have a wealth of information about Disney in general (runDisney, Aulani, etc). I’ve tuned in to so many episodes, it feels like I’m hanging out with good friends, just chatting with one another. I highly recommend listening if you’re planning a Disney trip, or just want to listen to a Disney podcast 😊

I have been a long time listener and have loved listening to episodes as I get ready for my first post covid cruise. Christy has so much knowledge of cruising and I appreciate and value her opinions, positive and negative! I also like hearing the food reviews or tips for traveling with food allergies. I’ve enjoyed listening to this for several years now. During the pandemic, it helped get me through, hearing about travel, and now they are updating episodes with pertinent information as people get back to sailing. As a travel agent, the information on this show helps me to keep up to date with DCL, particularly from a West Coast perspective.

I found this while starting to research cruises and it has been BY FAR the best source of information, not to mention entertainment (Chris cracks me up!) I love hearing all of the different perspectives from the three hosts and their guests. I’ve been listening since 2019 and I feel like I know them! 🤣

As a Disney fan new to cruising and DCL specifically I’ve found this podcast to be a wealth of information especially going back to old episodes. Aside from being a great source of information the podcast quality is great and the hosts are enjoyable to listen to. They also bring in great guests and facilitate good conversations with them. Definitely makes my cut for a podcast worth listening to regularly.

These folks have a great way of bringing all the information that you’ll need to not only get excited for your next cruise but give you pertinent information regarding all the changes that are seemingly constant amongst Disney cruise line.
