    Legacy of Alan Ladd Jr.
The content was so interesting but the constant “you know, you know, you know, you know, you know” was so distracting that I almost couldn’t make it through the episode....you know. No I don’t know that’s why I'm listening!

    I love this podcast
But I really want more editors because Illeana Douglas, always asks the right questions about the craft of editing but I do love this show even with lack of editors :)

    Oral History of Hollywood
Illeana is doing a great service recording oral histories of filmmaking. This is the kind of interviewing that the great film historians of my youth did. Keep up the good work!

    Illeana Podcast
Far too much talk by/about Illeana herself. Mentions of her grandfather could be a drinking game. Could that cover photo of her be any larger? Answer: nope.

Poor sound quality on live broadcast
Would have loved to hear guest Bela Jr.

It’s a great pod cast! Ps maybe a new picture of you? The one you have up is out of focus? Warped?

"Hud" was and still is my favorite movie of all time. Because of this I view Illeana as an indirect conduit to pleasant childhood memories.

    A privilege to listen to
I’ve been a fan of Illeana’s since first seeing her in To Die For - she has a fascinating screen presence. She reminds me of Jeannie Berlin, Shelley Duvall and only a couple of others in that when she appears on screen, I start asking questions: “Who’s that woman? Where did she come from? What does she sound like? What is she thinking?” She’s totally intriguing; you want to watch and follow her. I gave this podcast a chance because of my fondness towards her work, and she has proven to be a terrific interviewer. She’s got deep film knowledge, excellent stories, and she knows the business so well that her guests respect and recognize that they’re conversing with someone that KNOWS what she’s talking about. Please continue!

    Still in love!
I am still loving each week's podcasts. They are the highlight of my week. I love getting the movie recommendations from Illeana. I think she and Tamara are a great team.I pray this podcast continues for the rest of my life. The only negative is it is only once a week.

    I Love these!!
Illeana Douglas, talented and disitinctive actress, writer, director and veteran Hollywood insider (grand-daughter of the great Melvyn Douglas) chats with her fellow trravellers in the show biz industry. Unfailingly intelligent, in-depth, deeply-informed discussions unfolds with stalwart top-notch artists -- actors, writers, directors -- who may not be heard from as often on the late-night talk-show circuit. Douglas and her guests fully examine the life of a person in film, with fascinating insights into the art of acting, surviving as a human in the biz, and some very funny stories. If you like movies, you'll love Illeana!

Douglas is a very knowledgeable host and a good interviewer. She chooses her guests very well. I have learned so much listening to this.

    PLEASE LET YOUR GUESTS SPEAK
It is extremely annoying when a guest is invited to talk about his/her experiences in cinema, television or on stage as a writer, producer and/or actor and Illeana continually monopolizes the conversation with HER personal experiences. In numerous interviews a guest will begin to tell a story and in jumps Ileana on some tangent about her history in film and the audience is irritated because they never get to hear the end of the guest’s tale let alone a good sample of that person’s body of work. I’d also request that the moderator keep quiet after the interview begins. We don’t need to hear her hawking Illeana’s book a million times; once at the end is plenty. I think this podcast draws out stories that would be lost to cinematic history but how much more would be shared if the host stopped interrupting?

    IIleana is a Fantastic Host
Smart, funny IIleana Douglas is a great host. She interviews a diverse selection of actors, directors, and other entertainers and gives you an inside look at personalities and how movies are made without getting into long discussions about methods or techniques. I also like her co-host Tamara Berg.

    Illeana Is A Great Host
I love the casual banter Illeana has with her guest. She is also in the entertainment industry so her insight is much more valued than the other podcasts that have a peripheral view. Fantastic guests as well. Excellent!

Illeana is the Queen of Hollywood Film History
Illeana Douglas is a treasure. This brilliant podcast is an another example of why that is. Her knowledge of film rivals any film historian and she really does her homework when she has a guest on the show. I don't subscribe to many podcasts, but this one is one of the few on my list.

    My new favorite podcast
Illeana is smart, funny, and a terrific host. This podcast is wonderful entertainment, especially if you're interested in movies, the history of movies, or movie making. What a treat to hear her interview guests such as Peter Bogdonovich, Shirley Knight, and Lesley Ann Warren.

    Great show!
Two episodes in and Illeana Douglas and friends have already found their groove. Great conversations about movies. Great guests. One of the few movie podcasts that doesn't ruminate endlessly on either Oscar statistics, or Marvel/DC.

    Passionate Hour of Movietalk
Wonderful and wise podcasting -- why? Passion for film spurs the talk, from Illeanna's across-the-board experiences in productions large and small, to Larry K.'s life journey from Indiana to Hollywood, his epiphanies ("The Conversation") and his (and partner Larry A.'s) canny realiztion that you could break the mold of biopics without breaking the rules that get you greenlighted. Fascinating, easygoing conversation among people more obsessed with movies than with themselves.
