Texican14Very good and important for menOne of the best, if not the best, show for men wanting to improve. Connor has been through it and speaks from personal experience, as well as advice from others- he knows first hand the struggles, and helps you gain clarity on things. Highly recommended.

Jennjonnes_11Great perspective for womenI just wanted to say that I’ve listened to a couple of your episodes and as a woman I think that you are great at explaining things from a man’s point of view and putting it in direct but easy to understand and down to terms. Very helpful resource in navigating relationships. Bravo!

MomvaletChoosing the man to spend a lifetime withChoosing a man to spend a lifetime with is not easy. It’s a destiny decision. As a woman who wants a man to lead and steward our family, I’ve learned about the qualities to observe in men I meet. No longer persuaded just by his ability to provide and protect though it is important, the vision he has for our family and his group of friends is more important to me. Thank you Connor for the passion and commitment to men.

devotidsUnbelievableI came to find this show in a very dark place. Without disclosing details, I was lost. I started this series and from the very beginning, began to improve my life. I was smoking hella weed, and found myself in a state of unashamed complacency. From the first episode, I started cutting things out of my life. Weed, tobacco, and all the things I knew deep down were holding me back. This is an absolute guide to improving your life as a man. From learning to acknowledge my own shortcomings, to being able to improve my relational awareness, each guest has truly been a moment of enlightenment. I want to thank you, Connor, directly for putting out such a life changing message through this podcast, your book, and your work. I feel like I’ve found a kindred spirit. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I hope other men find this to be as helpful as I have.

JayBoy36Always great perspectivesBeen listening to Connor for a couple of years now and his perspectives and advice seem to be on point 95% if the time with the things I deal with or have dealt with in life.

BP WriterFantastic podcast, not just for men!Recently found this podcast and am really enjoying it! It is not for men only! Loved your episode with Sarah Wilson about moving through discomfort and anxiety! What really resonated with me was your candid discussion about psychological fracturing in our society - both internally and externally - and why, for the first time, the life expectancy of Americans has decreased. This was an amazing episode with so many helpful takeaways for people living with anxiety to live a calmer, healthier life at any age! Thank you!

MW327Thank you!I am a female, married to a male & this podcast has helped me better understand my husband and men in general. A lot of his information and authenticity has helped us grow and work through conflict in our marriage. Thank you for being a positive light for so many people!

RossClan79Bringing freedom and power for menConnor is doing great work to help and support men, especially in an era when we men need it most but are told that we shouldn’t. This podcast is liberating!

AmyElizabeth17Life-changing episode!Thank you for the “confronting abandonment” episode about voicing anger to let go of self-blame and self-diagnosis, and also the idea of projection of our need to find something in all the wrong people, regarding childhood-rooted wounds. I’m a woman who has read your book and listens to your podcast first to understand men better, but I often see myself in scenarios you discuss and benefit from your discussions. Bravo and thank you.

Cheese72!A Welcomed Voice When I Don’t Have WordsI cannot share how much these podcasts have made a positive difference in my life. Connor’s matter of fact approach and comforting voice come together to bring awareness where I’ve either had a blind spot or lacked words to express my feelings and experiences. Every man owes it to himself and his brotherhood the time to listen to a few of these talks to see what’s been missing in our conversations. The days of the stoic man haven’t always served us well. We benefit from sharing and listening to other men. Let that conversation begin with Connor and ManTalk.

RahīmI owe you my lifeConnor, you are the voice of reason in a world where toxic masculinity as well the toxic shaming of masculinity are predominant

Deep thinking humanAwesome insight.Thank you so much for the work you are doing. I know it’s more geared toward helping men but as a woman, I’m getting so much insight into so many things as well. There’s no many social constructs that some of us are just now becoming aware of and trying to break free from. You and your guests do a beautiful job at eloquently and entertainingly putting words to all the half thoughts in my brain! You guys talk about dating a lot and I love it but I’m curious if your advice or insight would be different for people who ultimately aren’t looking to start a family. I hit so many bumps in the road because I never felt called to have kids and so many people ultimately think that’s the thing that will give them purpose or make them feel “complete”. Like cool, they aren’t for me and it’s not my job to change their mind but like I said, just curious if you and some of your like minded guests would converse of the subject of dating any differently if the goal wasn’t a mate but more a life partner.

GrowingBlessedExcellent podcast for the modern manBinged about 20 episodes in 2 days and completely upgraded my paradigm around relationships, leadership and emotional regulation during conflict. I’ve experienced positive tangible results by applying what I’ve learned. Thanks man!

JJN MacBook AirConsistently Compelling ContentConor provides compelling and consistent podcast content devoted to men’s work and improvement. ManTalks covers a range of topics - men’s growth, relationships, sexuality, and spirituality - that every man can benefit from.

KNA 2Wandered into greatnessI had a life crisis late 2021 which sent me spinning. Ever since that time I’ve been seeking different perspective and I’ve come a long ways. It wasn’t until later in my journey that I came across Man Talks and wow it felt like such a match! I have personally had profound life changing experiences through both individual therapy and also reading books that included Jungian psychology and shadow work. I’m really impressed with Connor’s style and message. Please keep doing what you do!
-
S TengAmir Odom interview - thank you!I greatly appreciated your interview with Amir. It is so important to foster conversations and feature different opinions. I feel greatly fatigued by our current state of affairs in the USA. Canceling and shunning those who question the status quo or current popular stances has to stop. There is hate and intolerance on both ends (liberal and conservative). Thank you again for this one!

Candice Meyers#1 podcastThis is the first podcast I listen to every day and anticipate new episodes. I think the way Connor speaks is both articulate and grounded so anyone can listen and relate. I’m obsessed with all the men topics because I love to discuss and share with my husband. The interviews are always very educational and challenging which is different than others. I also can’t say enough about his new book Men’s Work. It’s an absolute guide to understanding men in your life and can help them understand their own shadows so they can heal.

SchuskersEssential for every man and the women who love themWow. Conner Beaton’s Podcast is outstanding. Despite being more than halfway through my life his words and the messages they crest are inspiring, effective and wise.
-
TankofFrank21ManTalks brings value every timeI love this podcast, every week the guests are intriguing and covering a wide range of topics, all leave me with something that I can do to improve myself. Connor does a great job interviewing and allows the guest to talk. So many times hosts want to talk more than they want their guests to share. I always feel the guests are safe to speak about what they know. I purged down to only 5 podcasts for 2023 and this was my first keeper for sure. Looking forward to the alliance too!
-
sylvieannmGreat Podcast for Women! This podcast is great if you are a woman who wants to understand men. Connor brings a different perspective that is refreshing. I enjoy every episode!
-
TheinteicateelfNext level podcast for menThis is what we need more of in the consciousness and men’s coaching spaces. The realness, authenticity, and intensity that Connor and his guests display hold a template for positive growth and healthy masculinity. High recommend.

Chris26572Informative!As a woman, I’ve learned a great deal about how most men think, feel, and what they need in order to have a successful relationship. I’ve also learned a lot about myself in my past relationships, and what I could have handled differently. This podcast has been a real eye opener for me. Thanks, Connor!
-
Believe it! CoachInsightfulGreat podcast for men (and women) to understand what it means to lead within the context of a relationship. As a woman, this podcast is very insightful to understand what men struggle with in relationship. Thank you for your insights and wisdom
-
rainesintheforecastGirls AllowedI know the podcast is called ManTalk, but I am a woman and love this podcast. It feels a bit like I’m eaves dropping on a guy get together, but as a woman it is incredibly insightful. It has helped me view things from a different perspective and understand the men in my life a little better. Thanks for sharing your wisdom with the world. - from the girl that snuck into the clubhouse
-
Lynn@ColoradoIt’s not therapy, it’s trainingThis podcast caught my eye initially because I thought it could be a good resource to learn more about the opposite sex. But actually I am taking away from it so much more. Connor presents provoking and thoughtfully planned programs that help us all better navigate each other, life, health, relationships and much more.
-
Maine Man IanWell worth the listenAny personal work takes a commitment to yourself and the changing world around us. I’d like to thank Connor for his approach to a variety of topics. I don’t always love the topics or guests, BUT, there is always something relative I can take away. Stay the path and keep helping men(and really anybody) to find mental stability, support, and more resources to cultivate a happy and healthy life. Thanks to you!! Much love from the northeast.
-
AdarcusAmazing! It’s obvious Connor puts extraordinary effort in covering interesting topics and finding guests that are authentic and truly care about being a positive force in this world - the insights they bring to bear are still mind-blowing every. single. time.
-
blakerobertsLeads with Vulnerability10/10 times I’m going to “follow” or be more inspired by the one who leads with vulnerability and knowledge, rather than just knowledge. Connor does that in a way that inspires the listener to engage in the same type of genuine self-work. Grateful for this show!
-
Dan-JohnsonAlways a unique angleI listen to a LOT of podcasts, especially podcasts specifically for guys. I have really enjoyed ManTalks because Connor always approaches topics with an angle and perspective I don't hear anywhere else. I always know I'm going to get content that is helpful, thought-provoking, and encouraging. Thank you Connor for the work you do!
-
JoeTejadaWho’s the expert? Some of the guests are highly skilled in their respective disciplines. It would be great to hear more of what they have to share on the topic of discussion and less of the host.

Varga49Ringing TrueThis was an excellent interview with a man who has been my friend since I became a scholar of the Orphan Wisdom School, now some 10 years ago. I don’t say this to “toot my own horn”, but to say that in my time at the school Stephen reintroduced the idea of using Etymology as a tool to broaden inquiry. We, as North Americans, are all, and have all been exposed to the metastasized phenomenon of “Social Hypnosis”, AKA enculturation. In spite of this, clearly not everyone “ takes to” this sort of broad spectrum type of enculturation for any number of percolations. Meaning; it looks like some young folks the likes of yourself have that longing for that something which rings true! My Good Amigo Stephen does Ring True! Good Luck with your work!

A. WechslerWhat men living in today’s society needThis dose of reality challenges the status quo of what a man thinks they should do, verse the societal force telling them to do something else. If you’re at a point in your life where you feel stuck, or are searching for more - Connor and his expertise/research will truly help you on your journey in a very profound way if you’re willing to go deep.
-
Brandon_RittAmazing and Essential!I don’t know where I would be today without this podcast. I stumbled upon it during a dark time and listening to this from the first episode and implementing what fit in my life, helped and guided me along my own inner journey. These are the real conversations that us men need to hear. And women, but men in particular. It’s not about football or drinking but coming together as a community to be accountable as husbands, fathers, sons and better men that the world so desperately needs.
-
P Reck -- Bozeman, MTInspiring and HumblingI’ve only started digging into Connor’s words and work, but I am immediately drawn to his encouraging and sobering words of accountability and empowerment. I’m grateful to hear someone talking about the powers and responsibilities of manhood.

IlliniGuy84Thought provoking and growth oriented! This is by far one of my favorite podcasts. First and foremost, Conor does such a great job as a facilitator of each individual podcast. The lineup of guests are incredible but more importantly he does an amazing job of asking questions that gets the most out of the guests expertise, while not interrupting or sharing unnecessary amounts of information in his own life. Too many hosts on other podcasts in this realm, don’t truly give their host the spotlight while getting the important questions asked to pull the most out of the guest. As a man looking for content geared towards everyone, but primarily men, he has created such an amazing forum to improve the lives of men. He does an excellent job of bringing on various guests with an appropriate range of topics. After each podcast I am left to critically think through the various topics and work to apply it in my own life so I can show up as the best version of myself.
-
Jobos5Consistently excellentI don’t actively leave reviews, but it feels like an act of service to let others know how excellent the content is in this podcast. Connor has consistently impressed me. His humility, sincerity and levity allow his guests to shine and make his own astute commentary trustable and accessible. I’m grateful too for the “mini” episodes, which have often been welcome doses of presence / “food for thought” on busy days. Go on and listen. You’ll be better for it.
-
Watercooler25Interesting topics! 🔥❤️I’ve been a fan for sometime and particularly liked the Shadow Work podcast. Lots of supportive insight from Connor! - Dr. John - The Mens Self-Help Podcast

1TILAWA#314: LeAnn Rimes: taking off mask, trusting inner guidance, and picking up fragmentsTo listen well, repeat back what has been said. Will apply this by restating — in my own words - back to speaker what i just heard. Ensures i understand how the speaker is thinking; and, speaker knows to the degree I understand.
-
kellywalker10Thoroughly enjoyThis content isn’t just for men, although I do love getting some insight into the man mind. It has things applicable to us ladies as well. Great work Connor!
-
J NischwitzGoing Into The CaveJoseph Campbell insightfully said, “The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.” Man Talks and Connor Beaton courageously go into that cave and discuss the topics that are at the heart of the journey of men today. If you want to take a deep dive into your life as a man, this is a great place to start.
-
JLBulkleyNot Just For MenI’m loving this podcast! Ladies this content is informative and intelligent..not just for men!

Johnny BdazzleGreat show, healthy approach to manhoodConnor does an amazing job with this podcast… specifically because he has done the work and is speaking from a healthy, integrated approach to masculinity. Highly recommended!

Imbad3423On point!!!I have listened to a few of these episodes. The one that has been particularly helpless is the where he explains how to apologize to a woman. My fiancé and myself were going through tough time. I apologized step by step and we have come through to the other side! Thank you so much for the insights. You and David D’angelo are the big brothers and mentors that men looking to grow and develop, really need! Thanks once again.
-
Sara lynn22A pathway to freedomConnor has helped me in more ways than one. I am so appreciative of his insight, wisdom, and honesty during my process of growth. The first time I heard him was on Instagram and I was intrigued. He has taught me the importance of showing up for myself and what that can look like. He has provided me with a better understanding of what could be going on with my partner when he is reactive. I am a woman, a mother, a clinical social worker and on a journey of self exploration and growth and I strongly believe that I found Connor at the right time in my life. Thank you for everything Connor.

bizactoLike this in generalBut the Trevor Bohem episode made me sick. An extension of ‘very fine people on both sides.’ Speaking as if there is no truth and the left and the right are engaging in propaganda equally. He’s a victim of emotionality that the right has instilled, yet, in keeping with emotionality, he’s completely blind to it. Keeps the line going that people see a strong leader in Trump, a man who, beyond doubt, craps his pants daily. Come the F on.
