Shaun has a show that provides consistent content. You can tell that Shaun is passionate about working towards his mission of getting a 1,000 qualified for the Pro Tour. He delivers every week with interesting guests.

This is one of the best podcasts out there, Magic related or otherwise. The host is always extremely positive and has a great inquisitive interview style. It is both informative in terms of content, and relatable for my own "magic journey". It is filled with valuable insights, tips, and tricks, and has allowed me to improve at a way faster curve than I thought possible. The podcasts all follow a standard format, and are long enough to be engaging, but not over long just to fill space.

This is a great podcast featuring an impressive array of guests sharing valuable lessons for Magic players looking to improve their skills. I highly recommend it!

Great audio quality, clear and pleasant speaking voice — this podcast is one of my top faves for keeping up with MTG. I love how it goes beyond the scope of just playing the game and covers how magic fits into and effects the lives of the players. Huge bonus points for inclusivity and acknowledging diversity.

I recently started playing again, and this show has caught me up on all I missed. I've leaned a lot about play, decks, and how to make better choices while playing. I highly recommend this show. Also, thanks for make it easy for noobs, like myself, to understand. Keep up the good work!

Shaun does a great job of bringing a positive attitude and energy to the podcast, and has awesome guests that don't disappoint. The problem I have though, is that I don't learn anything new at all from each episode. It's all the same questions, with usually the same answers, and after a couple episodes you can predict what the guest is going to say. I've found myself learning more from other podcasts that focus on Standard, Modern, Legacy, and Limited. Unfortunately this podcast does not do that, instead we learn of a pro's come up story, and favorite card, followed by best and worst moments. If you enjoy learning a little bit more about someone's personal life, and it's relationship with magic, and all the fluff and puff with very little educational benefit and more focus on celeb life, then this podcast is for you. Otherwise, you'll be better off looking elsewhere.

This is awesome to listen to and Shaun is a great interviewer. Some hosts may know more about magic but dont necessarily know how to host a show or engage a guest. Shaun seems very fluid and brought out the best in 3 of my friends who went on the show, looking forward to hearing more!

This show is a fantastic resource to learn about holding your game and make sure you are focusing your mental efforts in the right spaces when it comes to improving in magic.

As a new player there is still so much I don't know about the game, but The guests reveal so much knowledge and wisdom! Absolutely incredible!

Enjoy the show! It has great production and is unique compared to other Mtg podcasts. I enjoy hearing stories and advice from a variety of players: from Hall of Famers to grinders looking to make their first big break.

MTG Pro Tutor is a great podcast that is both familiar and new. This proves to be a solid foundation and trust with listeners. With a slight drawback of feeing repetitive on rare occasion. It's a podcast that is always approachable of your a weekly listener, or someone who comes and goes. The structure of the podcast of asking similar questions in every interview offers a familiar podcast that give the listener a consistent experience. However no 2 players answers are the same, which provides a fresh experience every time you listen. Unlike podcasts that tell you what to play/how to play. This podcast address the philosophy players use in their playstyle. It was the first podcast I found when starting to play magic, which was a couple months before Battle for Zendikar, and is still my favorite podcast because it doesn't feel like a training session. Update: the structure of the podcast also allows new listeners to listen to old podcasts without feeling awkward, because most of the discussions are not the trendy current headlines.

I probably hadn't played in 15 years but after a friend talked me in to going to FNM the other week I got sucked back in. This has been a great podcast to listen to and get up to (and stay up to speed) with everything that's going on.

I have already learned so much in just listening to a handful of podcasts. The production is awesome, the guests are great, and the questions that Shaun has for the pros are always really insightful. Two thumbs up on this one.

As a new player (oath is my first set) this is the only podcast that I've found that can be listened to by newer players that doesn't overwhelm with confusing content that I for one don't understand at this point in my MTG journey. The interviews have great concepts that I'm sure will help players at any level! Because of this show I'm doing my first booster draft/FNM this Friday so let the journey begin!

I'm returning to the game after 20 years away. This npodcast is really helping me bridge the gap between the way things were and how they are now Shaun really knows his stuff and yet he is down to earth and his enthusiasm for the game is infectious.

This is the first time in quite a while that I've really enjoyed a new MTG podcast. I think the quality of this podcast is right up there is with Limited Resources and Top Level Podcast. They do a really good job of pulling out actionable advice from people that really know their stuff.

At first I was skeptical that I would enjoy this podcast as I am not a pro at MtG by any means, but even as a hobby MtG player I have enjoyed listening to this podcast. The guests and discussions are interesting and even my 10 year old son is a fan. We have both gotten some good tips too.

This podcast gives me a great opportunity to learn from the best! I just started going to competitive magic events and I feel much more prepared after listening to this show.
