calimom39Not for Niners fansDecided to check this out for first time today. Completely unfair treatment for 49ers on the championship recap show. The one and only team that had no credit given for their admittedly slightly rocky road to success just denigrating the 49ers QB and coach, acting like all the cool people know the niners are really the worst. You’re not cool, you’re missing out on enjoying an awesome team of great guys and lovable QB.

JoesLunchGreat Insight and BanterLove the shows on this feed! Also have a suggestion for JP Acosta’s quest for a nickname for the speedy Dolphins: Flying Fish!
-
aqwsderf1208RJ is terribleLove all the shows for the most part but RJ makes every show he’s on worse. He just rambles on about nothing and makes nonsensical comparisons. When you hear him say “It’s like when you…. “ you can fast forward 30 seconds. Dude will yell and make pop culture references and refuses to move on until the co host acknowledges it. He also made an award for one of his shows for no reason. Love BLG, Stats, and Pete

Drew in KansasWhere is PGSween?Love the show, but I won’t listen if Sweeney isn’t participating.

Tony HipRIP SB NationI found these shows through BGN. The analysis and amount of shows being kicked out was phenomenal. I looked forward to it almost every day. The past year offered fewer shows and still I listened. Now there’s barely any content and dismissed Stats. Wishing everyone all the best.

GeoBFrog❤️💚💙Stats!!~These THREE men. That is who I have tuned in for EVERY WEEK. Today’s, Jan 25, 2023, was my favorite episode of The Look Ahead, yet.
-
Zarstar*Stats!!!I just found out about Rob and am so sad. He has been my favorite for years. This was my original review 2 years ago and I have been a weekly listener since the beginning. Stats, RJ and Pete are the ones who keep this thing going and have been the constants throughout every show. #bringhimback “I love all of the SB Nation podcasts, but the ODDcast and the Look Ahead are definitely the 2 I look most forward to each week!! As a die hard Chiefs fan, I feel a little bad saying it 😬 but ‘Stats’ is by far my favorite!! I love how he explains things and we still quote him from a couple weeks back... “This just in-7 is more then 3!!” & “Field Goals are failures!” Keep up the nice work gentleman! Meghan

AndyFromConnecticutRJ Ochoa and Brandon Lee GowtonRJ and Brandon have great chemistry. They are knowledgeable and entertaining. I listen to every football podcast they are on.

DSmith922Stats’ terrible tootsie roll takeThought about deducting a star for stats’ terrible tootsie roll take. Besides, he missed a prime opportunity for the perfect candy to describe the packers/bills game: sour patch kids. It’s the sour (packers) mixed with the sweet (bills). Is there anyone more sour (and who everyone has soured on) than Aaron Rodgers?
-
ChipkellyruinedmymarriageSbnation NFL showThree things: 1. Stats is on the right track. Brown is actually a shade of orange. YouTube "Brown; color is wierd" 2. Didn't stats make a bet on MFM that he';d jump into a frozen lake if Garoppolo was still on the roster post trade deadline? 3. **** Dallas, Go-Birds

JHLDavisMFMStill doing a good job. Best part of Monday podcasts.

Annoyed User2025Oddcast > Lookahead?I’m debating with myself on whether or not the Oddcast is better than the Lookahead. Not anymore, since BLG joined the Lookahead. Now we have two Eagles fans on the crew! How ‘bout dem Cowboys, R.J.? On a more serious note, what a week 1, right??? Thanks for everything! P.S. SBNation should update the “About” section of the podcast feed with the new broadcast schedule/crews. P.P.S. Fly Eagles, Fly!
-
This Nickname Is Also Taken 25 out 5Just throwing it out there, with the announcement of the almighty BLG joining the group, The Look Ahead just got that much better. Can’t wait for the content throughout the season! Got a question, at what point can we overlook the QB position and suggest a team will be good based on overall talent on the team? P.S, since y’all have to read the review, this one’s for you R.J: “Fly, Eagles Fly! On the road to victory! Fight Eagles Fight! Score a touchdown 1, 2, 3! Hit ‘em low! Hit ‘em high! And watch our Eagles fly! Fly, Eagles Fly! On the road to victory! E-A-G-L-E-S! Eagles!

sumimasen deshitaJimmy G.I’ve been surprised that the national reaction from both fans and writers to Jimmy G. coming back has been generally positive. I see Jimmy G.’s return as a big distraction and total undermining of Lance. Why do you think the perspective on this has been so positive?

Uncle B2Look-Ahead 101Always love the SB nation shows, and BGN is my home team, but I have to tip the cap in a big way to RJ and Stats. I always enjoy their work, and specifically salute their very real and nuanced, honest discussion of the Watson situation in Look Ahead 101. It’s devoid of hot takes, sincere, and the kind of dialogue that you rarely hear. It’s an example of how any opportunity to engage in real person-to-person conversation has value. Cheers and thanks.

Kolbs_The time has come!I just gotta say there is no better source of NFL content than the SB nation podcasts save perhaps the actual NFL games. The look ahead, the off day debrief (rip), BGN podcasts (as an eagles fan), and kicking off my week with Monday football Monday, on which, the fantastic hosts are deservingly awarded the prestigious mfmmvp. But I believe the time has come for me and all the rest of the loyal listeners. The chosen hour. The star’s alignment. I would like to humbly request of Rachel, that her vote for mfmmvp be given to the listeners on the week this is read. My humble thanks for your consideration on behalf of myself and the rest of the LLL (loyal listeners legion). Sincerely, The reviewer formerly known as Big Pig.

sclothier29Turning up the heat in Philly….The heat has been crazy in the Philly area and on Friday I was looking to close out my SB Nation NFL show week with the boys of The Look Ahead. Fire it up to hear my man Stats roasting me because he thought I ghosted him regarding the Chicken Pot Pie recipe. Luckily an unlikely hero came to my aid! RJ! Thanks RJ, even though I disagree with your AJ Brown take. As an Eagles fan that has seen so few good receivers and watched the Eagles botch multiple attempts to get them through the draft, I’m glad they gave up the capitol they did and gave him the contract they did. Worst case is it blows up and Howie has to do one of the things I have faith in him doing, getting out of a bad cap situation. Stats, I will message you when I make the pot pies. I promise. I didn’t ghost you, but do not do much on Twitter. I actually had to reactivate my Twitter just to message you. Love you all at the the SB Nation NFL Show. Thank you all for the hard work. Looking forward to the upcoming season! Go birds!

Twaun201The Look AheadFor starters I love the whole crew here on the SB nation NFL show. BLG and Stats are easily my favorites, I love R.J until he said Eagles trading for A.J Brown was a bad move. I look forward to all these episodes every week. Until the off day debrief returns the other shows will hold it down! Anyways appreciate you guys a ton. #bringblgtomfm

drdpsummersLike all the shows, but some of the guys need to get a life.I think the SBNation podcosts are about as good as national coverage gets. Though I have a bone to pick with RJ Ochoa. He say the Bills whine about the overtime rules. But I have to say, it might be that the RJ himself is biggest perpetrator here. Most of the local coverage is about how we should have won it before over-time. You just have to say "13 seconds" and everyone knows what you mean. But, especially if you take away jokes about it, I (personally at least) only see occasional mention. It is probably true that most when I hear someone obsessing about it, it is most often RJ himself. Now, over-all, RJ is pretty good. He has a tendency to focus on the Cowboys, but he is up-front about how he sees that as part of his job. Unlike some others, he can see flaws in his team and certainly can be critical about them. But this obsession is getting tiresome and "bringing down his average". Now I don't think overtime rules matter that much, the game has come down to where you simply have two equally deserving teams. But I do think everyone is looking at this wrong and I can be just as arrogant as the next guy. In my opinion, the problem is the clock runs out and NFL wipes away the current situation and a resets the game. But you can't do that fairly, and it isn't even clear why you would want to. Regular time has left a legacy and only fair thing is, as I heard Madden once suggest, is to just keep playing from where you left off, but with a sudden death now in effect. If a team starts overtime with the ball on their opponent's 10, it is because they _earned_ the right to be there during regulation.

Jake in MemphisLoved the quad-cast on MFM!I thoroughly enjoyed listening to “the four on the fourth” podcast. I thought the takes were great and enjoyed the banter between guests. The four of you should have a reunion at midseason and/or the end of season, play some clips and either relish in your prophetic knowledge or, as often said on this podcast, eat crow. Thanks fellas! Jake

Sad 12thI love the show but…SB Nation content is great. I love NFL University but all the shows are excellent. The critique of the NFL is spot on on all fronts. Please bring back the Off Day Debrief. Stats: as a life-long Seahawks fan you and I should be mortal enemies. That said, your takes are too good. I’m as eyes-open on my team as you are on yours. Hats off to you. R.J. : I bit my tongue at the gazpacho thing. I know continually making my new content is hard. But the re-coup? C’mon dude, calm down. You’re better than this. I believe in you.

JDamicoamAccountabilityAlways a great podcast, but I was especially pleased to hear Rob and OJ calling out Winston, the Browns, and the “money first / old boys club” culture of the NFL. As they stated, Kapernick gets black-listed for exercising his first amendment rights, while Winston can sexually assault / harass countless women and gets a huge contract regardless. Thank you for making a stand.

Rich BobbeODDcast4evaI rise to praise the ODDcast w BLG (forever may he reign) and Rob “Stats” Guerrera. ODDcast was my gateway drug to the SBNation family of podcasts, and I love it. Now, I’m sure there must be some method to this madness, and I don’t pretend that I would be a good SBNation boss in the same way I know I’d be a disaster as an NFL GM, HOWEVER, less Stats/BLG content in my life is a negative. Thank you for taking the time to read this and please say hello to Michael Kist for me.
-
Trubisky is badOddcastPlease keep the Oddcast- it is the BEST show on the SB Nation NFL show. BLG is the GOAT of the network (May he forever reign), and we all need to hear him weekly. Granted, I hear him on BGN Radio (Go Birds), but all the people need to hear him. Stats, you always say the hot take that everyone needs to hear. Keep up the good work- and keep the Oddcast!

batwing88Love the showOne of my top podcasts every week, this show is consistently entertaining. Special shout-out to Pete, Justis, BLG, and especially RJ and Stats for their impromptu “Look Ahead” episode this week. Their discussion about Jerry Jones and Dallas was on point and got me thinking as a depressed Cowboys fan: did Dallas’s Super Bowl XXX hurt them in the long run? I think Jerry hiring Switzerland and winning so soon after justified his own way of doing things in his mind and led to the arrogance and soft culture that has permeated from the owner to the long snapper for the past 25+ years and been the reason for so many underwhelming playoff and win & in performances. Would love to hear thoughts on this. Love the show and as always, go Cowboys! Can’t wait for another disappointing year -MH

09651DolphinsI like to listen to this show here and there. I was listening to OffDay Debrief #87 and I feel like the dolphins are going to do better than what most people are projecting them to do. The media is going to respect the dolphins after this season.

Mario CappMario CappGreat podcast. I listened after the Eagles took Nakobe in the 3rd. Thanks for your good evaluation of him.

Doc_DaddyLove the show - RJ Ochoa = Pete Davidson???Hey guys, as a long time Chiefs fan I listen to a lot of NFL podcasts, but SB Nation is in the top 3 non-Chiefs focused shows that are must-listens for me. My favorites are the ones with Rob "Stats" Guerrera and RJ Ochoa hosting - love the back and forth between those two and the actual NFL insight contained in the often humorous banter. Of course gotta love Pete Sweeney with RJ too. And one last observation: listening to his voice (as opposed to whatever else I'd be listening to) I'm pretty convinced that RJ is Pete Davidson from SNL. I've never seen the two of them in a room together, so I think I'm pretty safe in my deduction that Pete Davidson uses RJ Ochoa as his fake name to allow him to talk about the NFL on the air. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it. Anyway - great show, 5 stars.

ArwenTheFoxThe STARS of SB Nation NFL Show: RJ Ochoa, Brandon Lee Gowton, & Rob Stats GuerreraLet’s kick off this review by saying that RJ Ochoa (Blogging the Boys - Dallas Cowboys), Brandon Lee Gowton (Bleeding Green Nation - Philadelphia Eagles), and Rob “Stats” Guerrera (Niners Nation - San Francisco 49ers) are the main reasons (tbh, the only reasons) why I subscribe to this podcast!! My fiancé and friends will tell you I’m the pickiest person ever about everything, but I can’t recommend Monday Football Monday (Mon), the Off Day Debrief (Tues), and the Look Ahead (Thurs) enough thanks to these 3!! If you’re going to listen to just one channel during NFL season (& offseason too because football is life, amirite?!), subscribe to the SB Nation NFL Show to enjoy listening to RJ, BLG, and Stats all year round! Nothing against the rest of the SB Nation NFL show crew - it’s more so that RJ, BLG, and Stats are so incredibly amazing! Not only do they have insightful, helpful, and real-time football analysis, but I really appreciate how honest they are. Instead of the typical fluff, clickbait, or (too scared to share constructive criticism) commentary, they aren’t afraid to say it like it is, and call things out when needed even when they’re discussing their teams! RJ is genuinely hilarious, a fountain of knowledge for TIL random (and cool) info, and brutally honest about his Dallas Cowboys, while also offering thoughtful and unique perspectives on all things NFL. He’s so relatable and engaging that I feel like we are actually friends IRL, even though we aren’t! I love BLG’s sardonic sense of humor, blatant Eagles homer-ism 😂, and truly astute insights on the Eagles - I’m not even an Eagles fan (I actually hate them 🤣), but even I look forward to his podcast with Jimmy Kempski (Philly Voice) on Bleeding Green Nation simply because BLG is that dope and I always learn so much from him about the Eagles & NFC East. I’m a huge fan of Rob’s “hot takes,” perceptive and honest football analysis, and opinions regarding his 49ers - I honestly didn’t even care much about the 49ers until I found Stats, and now I’m so invested in Trey Lance (pls trade Jimmy GQ so the Lance era can start)! Wow, this has turned into a novel, which should tell you all you need to know!! I literally can’t recommend RJ, BLG, and Stats enough!! PS: as a bonus, RJ & BLG do a fantastic show on Wednesday’s - NFC Mixtape!!

MileHigh9erSecond to NoneLuna and Vega, KP and Akash, Stats and the Wet Blanket, Stats and Mags… need I say more? OK, I will? How ‘bout a daily bite-sized update every week day on the latest Niner news. You don’t need to go anywhere else for 49er audio content. The Gold Standard (Rob & Levin) even have Joe (effin’) Staley as a regular guest for the past few weeks, which provides the absolute BEST insights from a former player that I’ve ever experienced as a lifelong Niner fan. Joe Staley! Subscribe to this podcast right now, no excuses. Keep up the good work all! And don’t get rid of Michele on Fridays… I’ve won a fair amount of money listening to her betting advice.

TimethQuet5 stars, the gazpacho of sports podcastsI look forward to the daily debriefings, NFL musings, and above all else, the quips and banter between RJ, Pete Sweeney, and even Rob (I qualify with ‘even’ because he somehow manages to be endearing and likeable in spite of being a Niner fan and everything that entails) like a pig looks forward to mud. Especially as I am oversees for the winter and can’t watch any of the games, your shows bring a sense of familiarity and hilarity. But the truth is, all of you could be talking about anything (as RJ has proven time and again with his nonsensical Taylor Swift & other pop culture asides) and I would tune in. THAT BEING SAID. RJ, Gazpacho is not a stew. It is the perfect alchemy of summertime— peak of the season tomato, cucumber, peppers, garlic & onion marinated overnight to become better than the sum of its individual parts. Thickened and blended with leftover bread, sourdough if possible. Seasoned to enhance and lift these ingredients further with the best possible sherry vinegar and olive oil you can find. It is an epiphany, and a thing of transcendent beauty. I can’t recommend it enough. Just like I can’t recommend the SB Nation podcast enough. You guys are the best, just like gazpacho. Even you Stats.
-
hhjikjjklGreat show; Pete Sweeney rocksI listen to all of the shows and love them all. Pete Sweeney is my guy because I’m as much of a homer as he is.
-
lolblackcatOff day debriefStats… finally figured out how to leave a review. Non intuitive. Listen to everything you guys put out. Tx. You make the talking heads on the networks seem like morons. Since i am an eagles fan i want you to ask BLG. Kirk Cousins or Jalen Hurts. I think Cousins can’t handle the big moment so my answer is Hurts.
-
CraneholmesFootball talk or tamagotchi fan club?I was 100% in on RJs that he is my most tolerated Cowboys fan (low bar) until his trash Nickelback opinion. I feel if you defend a band with Creed as your argument, you’ve just dug yourself a deeper hole. Maybe there are a lot of closet Creed fans that will start enjoying your show now tho which is ok with me if it helps feed Michael Kists family.
-
TommysweetKist, please help with “Yeet of the Week”Love the shows on this podcast, helps me get through the work day. But my main gripe is what RJ has done to “Yeet of the Week”. It was always a throw of the week and now it’s whatever arbitrary thing RJ wants to point out from the week of games. Kist, I miss you and I love you, please help RJ out here
-
Jeremiah EshbachCarol of the BellsRJ, Pete is one hundred percent correct when it comes to Christmas, both when it starts and his song choice. Mama Sweeney is a smart lady. My house followed/s the same rule on Christmas. Love all the SB Nation NFL shows yous guys put out on a daily/weekly basis. BLG is the goat!
-
Saom12Well doneGreat show. Been listening from the beginning. The morning short form update is great. Love the longer afternoon shows.
-
SGibson96Monday football MondayI started listening to the sb nation nfl podcast about a year ago. Love how much information everyone gives about what’s going on week to week. The best one has to be Monday football Monday with Pete and RJ. Go Chiefs!
-
N8Nagle5 Star BusinessI’ve been listening since the end of last season, and this podcast has become a part of my daily routine. Whether I’m on lunch break, cooking dinner, or driving to/from work, I love hearing the (mostly) awesome takes from RJ, Stats, BLG, and Pete. I love the back and forth between shows and the MVP/LVPs, but the people need more burrito bets! As a Ravens fan I always enjoy hearing from Kyle, but you guys should have Jake and Spenny from the Beatdown Podcast on sometime. That would be awesome. Anyway, thanks for all that you do!
-
AustindasaxBest Podcast’s out thereFinally I can write a review now that I switched to i phone. I absolutely love the series of podcast on this channel that I listen to every day while I’m at work. From the daily updates to the show that day and then going on BLOGGING THE BOYS for my cowboys fix! I can never get enough of MONDAY FOOTBALL MONDAY, The look ahead, The off day debrief, and all the other wonderful shows you guys have to offer. My question is for Mr Pete Sweeney and it’s not football related sorry but Pete what’s your opinion on the Brock lesnar and Roman reign’s feud and where do you think it will end and how?
-
highfivesonlyJamarr ChaseHow do we know Jamarr Chase wasn’t trolling with the “lines on the ball” response to the preseason drops?
-
BeernayLove this show!!This show has become a regular part of my drive to work, and definitely makes it more pleasant. I love all of the shows, but hearing Pete Sweeney congratulate me on making it half way through my work week makes my Wednesday even better. Thanks for an awesome show!
-
Eagles22207ODDcastThe ODDcast is the best thing on this channel. It's the only national NFL pod I listen to. Rob and BLG are fantastic together. I love the back and forth between you guys. I need BLG to stop making bets though. And stats, go eat a McGriddle!
-
Bethlum74LOVE the OddCast!Lots of great shows here on the SB Nation NFL show, the OddCast definitely being my favorite. Love stats and BLG (I’m an Eagles fan)…however BLG, please don’t lose anymore bets. Although hilarious, listening to your rendition of “I left my heart in S.F.” was as cringeworthy as the Office episode “Scott's Tots”. Keep up the great work! ✌🏼
-
GoosemanzadahLove the showBLG and Bleeding Green Nation introduced me to RJ Ochoa on the NFC East Mixtape, and today I find myself wanting more football. Love Ochoa’s perspectives and his analysis. This show will become a staple of my weekly listening now! Awesome job guys!
-
Anthony D AyersAll around great podcast!I’m a big eagles fan so I decided to check out the channel since BGN radio posts clips of the various shows. I’m glad I subscribed to the channel. I will have to say Pete Sweeney is my favorite host because he’s hilarious and makes random animal noises lol. Keep up the great work and I’m ready for all of the great shows throughout this season and beyond!
-
jwb_1I hate the Chiefs but...Long live Pete Sweeney! It’s a pleasure to listen to such a dapper man.
-
JbirrrrrrdStats is the bestMFM might be the best show at the SB Nation NFL show, but IMHO Stats is the best regular host. All the hosts are fantastic, exceedingly knowledgeable, and wildly entertaining, but Stats has the least home team bias (looking at you Pete) and isn’t afraid to say what he believes with conviction, even if it’s about a tough subject or might be unpopular. Q: If the hosts of MFM and the ODDcast were to face off in a teams battle of Super Smash Bros, what characters would you be and what team would win? In all seriousness though y’all are great and these shows are a staple in my daily dog/baby walks. Don’t ever stop!
-
rumor houndLove these shows so muchThe entire gang is great! I learn more about football w this pod than anywhere else. Question: which rookie QB is most likely to bust? Definitely not asking because I need fantasy help. Love ya love your show will listen off the air
