The Podcast For Laundry with Brett Davis

78

When we brought comedian and laundry enthusiast Brett Davis to "talk suds with his buds" on our network, we could never have expected the seemingly affable host and innocuous topic (laundry) to result in this. Regrettably, we are contractually obligated to present The Podcast For Laundry, and apologize to the many guests dragged into Brett's endless downward spiral. Listener discretion is advised.

    A study in self- destruction
Brett, the host, is a sociopath. It’s incredibly insightful, if sad, to join him on his journey to both self-destruction and the pinnacle of laundry management.

Jesus Christ (the Laundry Monster) arc when?
Love this show, I’ve become a bona-fide laundryhead over the pandemic listening to Brett’s escapades and crimes. I can’t WAIT for the resurrection arc.

    I really enjoy this podcast
If you can, listen from episode one. Following the build-ups and story arcs really pay off. Brett Davis is truly deserving of his “Andy Kaufman Award” and his friends in comedy are the best of the best. Dig in!

I stumbled upon this podcast (not literally of course, this isn’t Tron) while searching for any podcasts with Cole Escola because he makes me laugh. I typically don’t search names of people I don’t enjoy when looking for podcasts to listen for. It seems counterproductive. I did enjoy Escola’s episode, but will continue to listen as Brett is genuinely funny and I’m learning a lot about laundry and life in general. I too use Tide, but I’ve been flirting with the idea of line drying. I haven’t done it yet. But it’s there, sometimes keeping me awake at night, that thought about putting up a clothesline and seeing where this life of mine goes because of it...

Don’t start with the Patti Harrison Episode
I’ve never been more uncomfortable than listening to the Patti Harrison episode. And it wasn’t because of her....

    The good and the bad..
Came here for the great laundry tips. Lots of helpful info on getting out stains and talking to people. A little weirded out by the host? Seems like he’s maybe in some criminal behavior. I contacted the police and the podcast network. Thanks for the stain removal tips!

    Dear Brett Davis
Dear Brett, I'm furious because I've had the Jesus Christ the Laundry Monster theme stuck in my head ever since your episode with Cole Escola came out. Please advise.

    I love it
I think Brett does a really good job despite his guests. People should cut him some slack, especially with the fetish-shaming.

    The definitive laundry podcast
Brett Davis fills the content gap we didn’t know existed at the crossroads between podcasts and laundry. The perfect sub-sub-sub-genre podcast of any subject.

Set your dryer to ..... HILARIOUS!!
This is my favorite new podcast. I'm a real 'Terge Head, which is what us PfL fans refer to ourselves as. I love to listen to Brett's hilarious segments while I'm waiting for my laundry to wash, then listening again while I'm waiting for it to dry, and for a third encore I listen again while I'm folding my laundry. The rest of my week is spent waiting for another episode of PfL to air, and scratching out the eyes of people who have betrayed me in old photographs. Hold for bumper!

    You made laundry weird.
So funny! I was cringing for the first ten minutes because I genuinely felt bad for the guy. When he introduced the "Turn the Tide" sequence I slapped my forehead; I had been had! It's really great. I've listened to the first episode three times today and found new things to laugh at each time. Tom Scharpling is perfect. Brett Davis is great as well. Instant classic!
