I think I’ve written this review before but I’m doing it again because I love this podcast SO much. I’m on my 4th listen of it because it is that good. Delightfully charming, relaxing, engaging and emotional. I love the simplicity of the story, the complexity of the characters, and overall just how relatable this is. It always such a great reminder to verbalize the things I love, engage with those around me, and understand we are never alone in this world. More love to this than I can write. Thank you to everyone involved in bringing such a beautiful piece of work into the world.

This podcast is beautiful. I found it during quarantine times, and in the past four years I’ve listened to it five or six times through and introduced friends to it as often as I can. It’s warm and full of good will and attentiveness. It makes me want to get to know my neighbors, delight in the everyday, write more often. I hope more is coming, but for now I’m just so grateful it exists. Thank you Lorin for sharing this wonderful work with us. It’s a gift.

I am not the sort of person to choke up at Hallmark commercials, and latter-day Saints commercials, so explain to me why at the end of episode seven, I was blinking back bright tears at “and I? I’m in charge of the salad.” Just a fluke. It doesn’t mean anything, onto episode eight but no, i gulp back a sob and say “Oh God” as the gifted tear-mining voice in my ear says “I’m now a part of something I used to only walk through”And my heart lets me know it craves to feel the same. This is an indescribable beautiful podcast. Thank you for making this.

Truly haven’t heard anything else like this podcast. Gives me all the good feelings and I want to live in this podcast. Keep ‘em coming

I so appreciate this podcast. It’s pleasant and great and truly lovely. It makes you stop and think about what you actually love and those small things you may not love.

The feels I get when listening to this, I t’s difficult to explain! It’s so beautiful, taking the listener out of our day-to-day and putting us in the day-to-day of people in Fitzroy, that is just beautiful enough it feels like fiction. But real enough that it gives us hope that we can still find the small bits of happy in our personal world.

I’m thinking of the things I love, a Season Three of The Fitzroy Diaries, is among them.

When I listened to the first episode; I almost gave up on this podcast. I twisted my own arm and listened to a couple of more. I fell in love with it. The story telling is great. I really enjoyed it. I enjoy the calm style of story telling. I encourage other listeners to give it some ear,

This podcast is absolutely delightful. I love the gentle and poetic cadence the daily events are told in, its both engaging but also calming. I love the humorous encounters with neighbors, the small tragedies, triumphs and trials of life in a neighborhood. I highly recommend it!

Is it transformative or is that something to do with my perception? It's not without conflict, there's the usual mix of people as in any neighborhood and it's real. I love the actress (not because of a bizarre fascination with Australian, New Zealand, British, South African, etc accents that most Americans have but don't bother to try to distinguish between). She's so good

Amazing show, full of wonderful wordplay and gentle stories. I force myself to string them out over several weeks and not race through them. The only downside is my jealousy at not being able to write like that.

Slow paced, wry, slice-of-life observations in a neighborhood that could be anywhere - not just Australia.

Wonderful story telling!

I found the Fitzroy Diaries through another podcast and I’m so very glad. The narrator draws you right into the walk she’s taking and makes you see all the sights as she does. I’ve listened to all the shows (some more than once) and wish for more!

It’s charming, witty, and very funny. If only all neighbourhoods were like this. Highly recommended.

Pointless and terrible. This is just a stream of consciousness blather about things someone sees as they're walking their neighborhood. No intersting narrative at all. Think Lake Wobegon stories only entirely uninteresting.

Amazing writing and a brilliant audio performance. The richness of description, character and emotion in what seems -- on the surface -- to be such a banal slice of Australian life. Wow. This is a masterpiece. Can't wait for Season 2. Thank you to The Truth for introducing this to my feed.

While listening to this podcast in my car, I was actually happy to not make it through the line of cars waiting at a red light because it just meant I got more time to listen to this.
