I just started rewatching Gotham and have been looking for a companion podcast. There are a bunch to choose from, but this one is by far the best I’ve come across. It’s the perfect balance of summary, background comic info, knowledgeable speculation, and critical analysis. Great job, guys! I wish I had found this sooner!

I absolutely adore these guys, and have been listening to them AGAIN as I rewatch “Gotham” with my fiancé. Soon, my fella and I will be watching the fabulous Marvel shows on Netflix, and I intend to listen to these gents’ podcasts every step of the way.

This is not a recap show, and for that I am grateful! The guys point out a few key elements from the episode (a turning point, plot element, character arc) and talk about those in depth. You end up reviewing parts of the show as well as go back to other episodes for parallels. They are thoughtful which makes it an interesting hour, not filled with mindless droning and rehashing each scene as it played out. I enjoy their humor and their attention to detail when planning and speaking about the episode, it makes for a super interesting and fun podcast. I don’t have any friends that watch so I enjoy spending an hour with the guys to hear another perspective on the episode and they always leave me with something I hadn’t thought about. A wonderful companion to one of my favorite shows! Cheers lads!!!

These "detectives" not only have the most creative way for rating episodes, but also recap the episode in an enjoyable yet digestible one hour podcast. The case note method completes the whole detective feel as well as adding bits of the Batma mythos to enhance the podcast for those of us only familiar with the show. The piece of their podcast I enjoy the most is the 'Feedback' portion because that is the time where fans express their opinions on the episode and it brings another interpretation of the episode.

Don't know how I didn't find this until season 4, but it truly is the best Gotham recap I have heard.

Class act! John and Derek are not only knowledgeable regarding the world of the Batman, they have likewise launched an informative podcast surely destined to acquaint new Gothamites with details and nuances of all that Gotham offers. Perhaps, more importantly, they both come across as genuine, sincerely humble admirers of the Dark Knight and his city. Kudos!

These guys have a great dynamic together. They are motivated, passionate, and really friendly too. Glad to count them among my fellow Gotham podcasters.

This is a fantastic podcast for background info on Gotham and what within Gotham lead to the creation of Batman from the comic book point of view. Their knowledge of batman and his cast of charcters is unmatched. Highly enjoyable to listen to, absolutely a must listen to if you are interested in the show Gotham.

These two gentlemen are very smart, intelligent and enjoyable to listen. The discuss the upcoming TV show but they also include plenty of other information from the movies, comics and graphic novels. These guys know their stuff. Great job and keep up the awesome work!

Interesting, informative, and well spoken, the hosts of Gotham TV have already begun producing the best type of TV series podcast. They know their Batman history, and I can't wait for their analysis if the series itself to begin, based on the way they have explored the materials that could inform the TV series -- looking into comics, movies, and news and press items. I enjoy listening to them, and highly recommend this podcast to people interested in the show and fans of the Batman and his supporting cast!
