    This is awesome!
Super well informed cast of people that clearly love what they do, and I'm here for it!

    Give us the breakdown
I’m not a huge fan of going to the movies the day the movies come out due to the crowds so I am always coming here for information about movies and how well they do! Great information…sooo appreciated! MOVIE FANS, CHECK OUT THIS PODCAST….YOU WILL LOVE IT!!

Great podcast. I’ve really grown to enjoy the banter. It’s light, fun and clean.
    Thanks!

    Welcome back Neil!
When I heard Neil Plumley say, “On your left”, I teared up. It was great to hear the old Popcorn Talk’s gang (Amy, Frank, Kari & Neil) back together to discuss Avengers: EndGame and the week’s Box Office Breakdown. It was a brilliant show.

If you don't fit their Agenda then you're out
Sadly, this show has become about promoting their own agendas in film and nothing to do with the actual quality of the films or the box office itself. The hosts claim to be INCLUSIVE... but in fact are EXTREMELY EXCLUSIVE unless a film fits into their prescribed agenda. It's a bit sad to see this once enjoyable podcast fall to such hyporcritical depths. Case in point... in the most recent Podcast - March 18, 2018, the crew spends tons of time promoting 5th place "Love, Simon" and ZERO time discussing nubmer 3 "I Can Only Imagine." They blow by #3 so quickly, I had to go back and relisten to make sure they even mentioned it. (They barely did). But because that film doesn't fit the agenda they are pushing with these other (less successful) films, they just thow it away. Not even mentioning the cast, director, or anything. This is only one example of their recent biases coming to rest full force in their show. Again, it's a sad drop in quality of this show. It was sure be nice to have some COUNTER-points every now and again. I hope they can turn it around because I USED to like this show. But if it continues to be a hypocritical and political agenda fest.. then I will move on to better podcasts.

Sunk in quality over time. Neil ruined this show.
I was a longtime follower of this show, from the original hosting panel, through multiple reshufflings of the hosting panel, until now. I loved this show at first, but it's gotten worse as the hosts kept changing. It's sunken to such a dismal level that I've finally given up on the show. The promotion of Neil from the sound booth to the hosting table was the last straw. Neil is the worst. He tries way too hard to be funny and everything he ever says is kinda dumb. And Frank is weird, because his demeanor actually seems kinda cheerful, but he's such a hater. He may be the most negative host on any movie-related podcast I've ever followed. Frank is so consistently negative that even though I have followed the show for years since he’s been on, I honestly still have little clue what his tastes in movies are, because he just gripes and complains about every single movie. Seriously, as soon as anyone mentions any movie title, whether old or recent, Frank will immediately, pretty much without exception, launch into a long list of complaints about that movie. Does he even like any movies at all? It's really hard to tell.

Great information , production could be higher
I really enjoy following week to week however when you guys talk Occasionally you all trail off at the end of your sentence and I can't hear what you all said. (Sarah) The audio levels tend to bounce from person to person and could be mastered slightly tighter. Also Slow Down when you talk if you'd like us to actually hear your twitter handles. Other than that I really have enjoyed the podcasts!

    Why should we listen?
I want this podcast to be great again, but the cast do not take their responsibilities seriously. Rarely do we get an informed opinion because cast refuses watch movies opening weekend. This should be a prerequisite for a weekend box office podcast. Pick it up cast.

    New hosts aren't good
This is one of the few podcasts that goes through the box office numbers, but these guys talk about the numbers for about 2 minutes then spend 30 minutes talking about how no one has seen the movies they are talking about. The new hosts never seem to see any of the movies that they are discussing each week which I think doesn't make any sense for a Box Office podcast. I think they need to make sure each person sees at least one movie that they expect to be on the top 5 list. They also don't have the most movie knowledge. I'm not impressed with the new hosts at all and think they really need to step up their game.

    Great concept
Great concept! This is the perfect podcast if you love those Hollywood numbers, even if you aren't a film buff. Great job by the host (I think Josh), who is a natural at this. My only 2 critiques are time (they unprofessionally ramble on about things none of the listeners find interesting. Reign it in) and co-hosts. The co-hosts Kari and DJ Skyye aren't bad, but need to get an idea that thousands are listening. They often don't shine well next to the pro host, but with time I think they could be better. And DJ needs to actually see a movie. Every week he bemoans that he's late to see everything and doesn't seem to really like movies outsite DC and Marvel. Would be fun to have one broad ranging expert on film on panel.

    Bring back JTE and Finstock!!!
The show was great when JTE and Finstock were hosting. The new crew is not nearly as entertaining or knowledgable, with the exception of Frank.
  • Vanpedrom
    RIP B.O.B
This show is no longer super unique. Maybe it's not the new host's fault, considering they have to follow up the original panel. Don't get me wrong their personalities are ok, but they're box office info and predictions just made no sense and was very lackluster. Sorry guys. RIP B.O.B

    Listen with caution
I've been listening to this podcast for many months. I love geeking out about box office numbers - and this podcast scratches that itch well. However, there is a serious problem with a host they have on the show - Tom AKA Finstock. Most of the positive reviews for this show cite him as a positive aspect of the show. I do not agree. They way that he treats his cohost Sarah is deplorable. He's making sexual advances on her...constantly! It's incredible. Her discomfort with his remarks is always palpable, and makes for some 'am I actually hearing this?' moments. If I were her, I would sue for workplace sexual harassment. The other cohost doesn't do anything to stop Tom either. Bystander. That being said, there's always going to be an audience of men who will giggle at this humor. There's nothing I can do to stop it, and there's no other podcast out there that talks about box office numbers. Literally anyone else could make a similar show and I would switch!

Very fun to play along and guess and post your own prediction on there YouTube channel. The host Sarah is the best, I wish Finn and JT put the same class in to it

    Just because
Thank You for a great breakdown of upcoming movies.

    awesome hosts, awesome show
The hosts really make this show. Sara, JTE, and Tom have such a great chemistry together and they make the topic of box office numbers far more hilarious than it ever should be. Even on weeks where there isn't much to talk about regarding the box office, they are entertaining and the foreign title game is a genius idea. I look forward to this show every week.

    Awesome
Great Review even for being a Comic Con weekend. Cant wait for Antman
  • Smithbradley1990
    Informative and Entertaining
Sarah does a great job keeping JTE and Tom under control, but lets them go on rants about Sean Penn, Selma Hayek, etc. Listen every week.
  • Qth16
An hour show but should only be 30 minutes
The first 20 (maybe) minutes of this show are good to listen to, as well as the last ten minutes. That's the portion of the show where they actually talk about movies, their reviews and predictions for upcoming releases. The rest is filled with stupid babble that really isn't funny, especially when the two guys roll over what the female host is saying. she always have to "reel" them in and it gets boring. Listen for a big, then fast forward a bunch.

    B.O.B. is awesome!
I love listening to Tom Sarah and GTE every week! The international movie title game is the funniest radio bit I have ever heard!!!!

    Favorite show on Schmoes…POOF!!!
Box Office Breakdown is my favorite show on the Popcorn Talk Network/Schmoes Know. The chemistry between Sara Stretton, JTE (the artist formerly known as JTI), and Tom Dagnino (aka Finstock) is great. Definitely the best group on the Popcorn Talk Network. Also has fun games such as box office prediction and the foreign movie title game. Best of all is when JTE and Tom go off on a tangent and Sara has to reel them back in. I love this show!!!
  • ccadalin
    Favorite show on Popcorn Talk
Tom, Sara, and JTE are the best!
  • Reflekter
    Great
The trio of Sara, Jte and Tom is the perfect combination for a fun and crazy weekly discussion of the box office.
  • chrs_mrgn
    Funny
Finstock is pretty funny. If it were only his show the thing might be a train wreck. There are almost two extremes on either side of the table—Sara Stretton and Finstock while JTE is in the middle trying to decide which side to take. Oh, and they also talk about the box office.
  • Matt rants
    Funny and informative

    The Best of Popcorn Talk
Love this show! Full of interesting facts and figures with funny and entertaining banter. Sara and JTE are great and Tom is fantastic at keeping them on their toes. Listen to past episodes for some legendary Bob and Little Bobby. You two will be missed.
  • Sam Noland
    RIP Finstock
Another wonderful podcast from the popcorn talk network
  • Nemesis Project
Good when they get to the movie stuff
I like this show when they get to the numbers and talk about the movies. Seems like a lot of this stuff is a waste of time. If it was 30-45mins actually talking movies it would be a great show. Bob is a funny guy but the guests are a joke. I'll keep listening to it but I'm not a fan.
  • Tysonreyez
A show I look forward to every Monday
Although I never really cared about box office numbers, I enjoy the discussion and banter that takes place place between the crazy guy, his biggest fan, and the girl trying to keep them on track. Sarah, JTE, and Finstock make this show fun and worth watching. Sarah is amazingly patient and confident enough to put the boys in their place.
  • fun game very fun
    Hickory Dickory Dock...
Finstock and I met on Wednesday at the zoo in Zimbabwe after admiring the beauty that was Kenny the Tiger.
  • @josiah4311
    You guys are awesome
You guys are hilarious. Finstock- you are the best, JTE- you are my hero, And Sara- you remind me of my ex so I'm not sure how I feel about you. But you all 3 together are awesome, I'm glad Sara came along and gave the show focus. I love Finstock's segments, Keep it up!
  • JacobPaulB
    shut up finstock
I really really wanted to like this podcast. I have always been interested in box office numbers and the info/meaning behind them all... but Finstock ruins this... so annoying.
  • Tuggzz
    Finstock is God!
Haha honestly Finstock is one of the best things to come out of schmoeville. So funny, always has a ridiculous story to tell. His and Jte's back and forth banter is always great and the wonderful sarah is always there to reel them in from getting too far off topic. I never thought the box office could be so funny. Honestly great show, down to earth hosts. It'll make you wish they were you're friends haha Me and Finstock met in Boston, whilst hunting for the holy grail! (Both our families are Mormon) it was a wonderful adventure..... Actually, scratch that. This wasn't the time I met the Stock. This is actually the time I met Jesus. (I get the two confused.) No I met Finstock on the set of the failed reality show called "Americas Next Top Torso Model". Although he was a judge and I was just a contestant, after the show flopped he took me under his wing and showed me what it really meant to be a torso model. He made it clear about how many people rely on us to look our best at all times. Truly a great man and an inspiration to all!

    Where I’d Find Finstock
This might be the easiest question ever. The answer is prison. Guilty until proven innocent.
  • Thrll86
I once open mouth kissed a horse
I once ran into Finstock co judding a whale tail competiton with Lorenzo Lamas at the Cats Meow on Bourbon Street. True Story...#finstockthetruerenegade
  • @Miss_Movies
If I were to meet Finstock
It would probably be at an AA meeting in Baltimore where I am working undercover with Kima and McNaulty to bring down a drug lord and Finstock might be the key to his demise. #thewire
