I’m out until you bring back the Longhorn Blitz. Best analysis in all of football. Rod and Jeff by all rights should be back on the airwaves, but at the very least, they need to be back on the podcast.

The Blitz has long been my go to Longhorn podcast. It appears it is no more and I’m sure I’m not the only one missing it.

THE BLITZ IS EXCELLENT!!!

Fantastic content, but it’s tough to listen to because the audio is different for all hosts, some are clear, some sound like they are talking through a pillow. It should be an easy fix, I imagine there’s an AI tool that could do it in seconds.

The blitz is by far the best longhorn football podcast out there, and it isn’t even close. Listening to their game prep pods before the game makes watching the actual game so much more fun and exciting.

I cannot recommend this podcast enough. The Blitz is the best college football pod out there. I’m an Ohio State fan who just can’t get enough football and I have yet to find another podcast that even comes close to the quality of Longhorn Blitz. A+ Gentlemen!

Going strong for many years - the blitz dives deep into Longhorn football from both a numbers perspective and a football theory and gameplan perspective. They truly bring the knowledge and passion for Longhorn fans. If my business was in Austin I’d definitely sponsor this Pod.

The 247 family of podcasts is a mixed bag. The Blitz provides the best Texas football analysis I can find and it’s easy to love the personalities delivering it to you. The Flagship, on the other hand, leaves much to be desired. I’m not interested in Chip Brown’s delivery and I feel the information also leaves much to be desired. Chip essentially provides a headline with very little insight, and little analysis that does not immediately come to mind. The recruiting shows were previously tied for my favorite with the Blitz, but the personnel changes have hurt the content and the frequency of shows. Where they were once at least weekly (or every other), the shows are now very occasional.

Listen to these dudes since 2012 .. they’ve helped me through the all those painful seasons haha from the end of Mack brown to Charlie strong and the Tom Herman era’s.. as diehard longhorn fan in the in the northeast these guys get it and never sugar coat anything…

Love the blitz, been listening for years

The State of Recruiting drops a podcast maybe once per month. I do like Hudson though, he actually tries…

There’s plenty of Longhorns content out there, but most of it isn’t very good. The Flagship strikes the right balance between in-depth analysis and talk show.

Hudson needs to let Mike finish a thought though. Just constantly talking over him as soon as he starts a thought

Longhorn Blitz is amazing. Great conversation. Interesting, tons of insight and inside looks. The show with chip brown is absolute dookie, dude has zero awareness about college football. Nothing important to say and chases clickbait headlines.

I like the content of Rod and Jeff. But Matt needs to go. Having a podcast with 3 guys is too many. And Matt adds nothing to the show

Really not a great show for information on recruiting, it’s more of a fangirl show with mike. Hudson was better at his previous spot, now it seems that he’s dumbing it down for the audience and mike. Bring back wabash!!!!!

If you’re a Texas football fan than you are sure to love this podcast. Flagship, Blitz, and State of Recruiting are all well worth listening to and each have their own style. I live a very busy lifestyle and this podcast keeps me in the know of everything. Shout out to everyone that makes it possible, you guys are awesome!

Not that great, doesn’t talk about much else besides football

Love listening to everything. Recruiting insight, intelligent break downs of players, coaches, on field. This podcasts always keeps me interested

I’m a big Rod Babers fan. His insights are unique in a sports media world where everybody usually regurgitates what other people are saying. That said, teaming Rod up with Jeff and Matt works brilliantly. All these guys are fun and easy to follow. If you want to keep up with Longhorn football and don’t have the time to read the recruiting service message boards, this is the spot.

Rod B is a national treasure. Love the show!

I mostly listen to sports podcasts, Texas football more specifically and this is probably the best. The guys are awesome and informative and are on the grown traveling for content not getting it from other people.

I love the rabbit-holing, player perspective, analytics, and really love the football theory to think about what the Longhorns could do with their offense or defense. Definitely the best Longhorn pod and I listen to them all.

This is by far the best info for any Longhorn Football Coverage… the best analysis in the biz!!! Rod’s takes are essential with his deep dives. Jeff always provides fresh takes… Matt’s research is essential!

Mike and Nick relationships with potential future Longhorns provides a unique perspective. They have done a great job keeping us up to date with new coaching staff. Keep up the great work those of us living outside of Texas.

Love the weekly updates on the State of recruiting! No questions just love

Texas football can drive me crazy...thankfully, the longhorn blitz restores some sanity for me every week (particularly after some of the inexplicably baffling moments of recent years). These guys are so good: amazing personal insights, in-depth high-level x/o’s analysis, humor, real talk (sober takes on the program!). Wish each episode was more than an hour.

Impressed with the interviews and insight from all of staff. I always look forward to the podcasts. Keep up the good work.

Hey guys so I’m going to leave this here for whoever seems to answer it 1-what’s is it going to take to get Texas vs A&M on the football field ? Is there any talks going on to make this happen ? 2-If you had to pick a bowl for next season not named the Alamo which one would it be ? And who’s a likely opponent based on the conference affiliations? Keep up the great work guys. I listen to all the shows Chip, Taylor, Jeff, Rod, Mike and everyone else thank you.
