Amusing pod, but no way was a bear cooking up freebase and smoking it. He was just eating it. I mean, he’s a bear.

This is excellent, from the research to the delivery. The ads are horrible, but I don’t consider that when rating.

I have binged every episode in about 4 days, very informative and interesting topics. My man also has a soothing voice. 5 stars young chap

These stories are wonderful and so entertaining! A lot of them cover stories not typically covered in other podcasts. I also love the music at the end of the episodes. I’ve searched several times to find out who the artists are and haven’t been able to find anything. Can anyone point me to where I can find that info? Most recently the song at the end of episode 91 (DC Sniper part 2). Thanks!

Sound effects and music is TOO LOUD.

First - I love your show! The stories are well-written and I love listening to them. I would like to request more investigation into the world-wide sting operation that went on for 3 years capturing the text messages, etc of the drug lords. Why was there nothing caught about these folks and human trafficking - both sex and labor traffickers. In Taiwan the fishing industry steals young boys and imprisons them on ships to work - and when they refuse they are thrown overboard to drown. Of course the sex trafficking is rampant around the world and the drug traffickers are the ones most involved. They already think of people as commodities - unless it’s their family.

This is literally my favoritest podcast! I love everything about this podcast! The host is always so professional and so entertaining. He’s quickly becoming one of my favorite voices to listen to. Bummed I’m done binging and am all caught up. But I sure do look forward to every new episode!

Good podcast, ads are annoying but easy enough to skip. The music in the background gets to be too much at times, but I have only had to skip one episode because of it.

Great show with lots of details however the hosts robot like voice gets kinda old after a few episodes.

Great podcast but lengthy ads. 3in a row?! With two that repeat back to back? At at the end of the most recent it’s ads then music then another add. Wth

I’ve enjoyed the episodes I listed to so far. Well produced. Especially liked the one about the Isabella Stewart Gardner heist. Seems everyone wants to do this story from The Book called Master Thieves, Podcast from WBUR, Netflix Documentary, and now this.

He toes the line on labour so bad my dudes got tendinitis.

Is the narrator a robot? The monotone reading is mind numbing. I almost ran my car off a bridge to make it stop, and realized there are way better things to listen to...like road noise.

It’s clear the host puts a lot of effort into making this podcast, which is more like a polished narrative presentation, not a semi chatty discussion of the topic with a semi prepared person. I like the mix of topics, with some levity and not all gore. It’s so well done I am surprised it’s at <1000 reviews. I would believe it if I listened to this and was informed it was an extremely popular and network produced podcast.

Great production but soooooo many long adds

The stories and the way they are told is excellent, BUT the excessive number of ADVERTISEMENTS is torturous. The episode length to commercial ratio is the worst I’ve ever encountered.

Still no new episode!!! LOL please this gets me through my days at work lol

Seriously the show is ok but there are at least two 4+ min adds every show....it’s the worst I have ever streamed as far as actual time vs adds.

Always very interesting, and well done. Do doubt room to improve little things, but nothing is perfect in the minds of everyone!

The topics are interesting but the reading style makes it difficult to listen to.

The background music and sound effects that play throughout the entire narrative make this unlistenable. The narrator’s stilted speaking style doesn’t help.

This is a great pod!! Last ep was in mid feb 2020. Edit: OK it looks that they came back from mid February 2020 to the end of November 20 20 and then stopped again.

The stories and content in this show will blow your mind. I love learning about all the bizarre and outlandish scenarios that unfold throughout the series. The only downside is the narration style. The narrator will bs his way through random possible examples to introduce every minute scenario. Each scenario he uses to introduce the main story is obvious, riddled with corny jokes and sounds like an intro from a show from the early 2000s on spike tv. It’s too bad because some of the content is incredible, but there is so much tacky filler in most episodes that I actually had to turn a few of them off (Santa episode I’m looking at you). Overall this is well researched and worth a listen, however.

Love this podcast. Super interesting topics, the length is great - not too long, perfect level of depth, and the host has a great voice. Highly recommend!

Found this podcast via another podcast. The stories that Erik has found and put together are so well done. Love Erik’s voice, too. Binged every episode and now I’m sad that I have caught up and have to wait. Does not disappoint!

The few I’ve been able to listen to are interesting...but most wont play. At first I thought it was my app and/or phone but I’m not having issues with any other podcast shows.

Well this is my new favorite podcast!!!!!
