Library of the World's Best Mystery and Detective Stories, Volume 4 by Various

5

In the six volumes of the Library of the World's Best Mystery and Detective Stories, Julian Hawthorne presents us thrilling and mysterious short stories from all corners of the world. Some of the stories appeared in this collection for the first time translated into English, and many of them come from unexpected sources, such as the letters of Pliny the Younger, or a Tibetan manuscript. In this fourth volume, we find stories originally written in French, Italian, Spanish and Latin. (Summary by Leni)

librivoz is an amazing resource for great free fiction!!!
i stumbled upon librivox because i listen to podcasts while i work, and therefore constantly run out of episodes even though i listen to many. then i found librivox, it is all stories and books that are in the public domain- meaning i guess that they are uncopyrighted. if you like mystery, try “the white mole” or the “Jimmie Dale” series, both by frank packard, available as free audiobooks on librivox. they are two of my favorite stories ever, and i would never have found them info through librivox.
