syb133I always feel so supported when I listenThank you Kate and crew. Thank you for sending out these podcast episodes like little beacons of light. Because sometimes the little glimmers are just what we need when we feel like we have become the darkness. It helps remind us that there is something else to reach for.

Milzie's MomThank You!I can’t tell you how many times I have said, “I heard something incredible from this Podcast I listen to by Kate Bowler.” I discovered you shortly after losing my 12 year old daughter to a rare and sudden illness. The way you speak the language of grief and lament is refreshing and a balm to my hurting heart. Your honest and raw and messy response to deep loss is more real than any other grief expert I have encountered. You and Your guests have been some of my most favorite teachers in life and I thank you for creating the platform they are invited to stand on.

PAKnerrThe most beautiful voice I need in my ear 24/7!Kate, you have transformed my faith and the way I look at life and people. Your voice affirms the thoughts and feelings my heart believes, but doesn’t know it should trust, because I am “just me.” I love the way you love your friends and wish I could be a part of your most intimate posse. You are a beautiful human. I love you for sharing your real and profound story. Please keep going.

joymartellThank you for the blessingsKate, l love your ending blessings as well as those in your books. I have used them many times, sharing in cards or in a Bible class. The interviews are some of my faves in all the podcasts. Your compassion oozes through the microphone! Keep on with this good work. It is so needed. FYI: I have become an expert in grieving (mainly my own) because my 21 yr old daughter died in an accident 22 years ago. Your blessings would have truly helped me back then but continue to provide comfort today.

Jenn not JennyMy commute is better because of this podcastI love this podcast! I learned about this podcast in a grief support group three years ago. I then started listening to Kate’s podcast from the beginning, and then when I was caught up I listened to her books. I get excited every Tuesday when a podcast drops and my commute is made better by having Kate as my companion.

JayneeBentleySuch comforting wordsI found Kate’s podcast several months ago a little less than a year after my husband passed away suddenly. Her raw honesty about life in general and life in the context of faith has been a comfort to me as I navigate life without my favorite person. Thank you, Kate, for your kind voice and your incredible wisdom.

MEMM111Beautiful, intelligent podcastThis podcast is life giving. Kate interviews people who have such wisdom and beautiful stories, and her reflections at the end leave me with a lot to think about after every episode. This podcast demonstrates the value in learning from each other and in taking time to listen to each other’s stories, where we can find connection and meaning for our own lives. I look forward to every episode.

-
DragonVGCLong time listenerFor the three years that I have listened, Kate’s conversations never fails to bring an exhale, a tear, a smile, a resonance from deep within, a hope or sometimes all of the previous in one episode. I’m sorry for the pain in the part of her story that brought the podcast (and book title it follows) to life AND I’m repeatedly grateful for the beauty she has allowed to come from that place… and that she continues to bring transparent, vulnerable, sometimes hard topic conversations into a space that fosters life.
-

gretzPALovely, I have learned so muchThere is so much grace in this podcast, and so many people who have wisdom about getting through the troubleing things that life throws at you. I love listening to it for inspiration and insights, and to know there are such courageous people out there.

ValynnVWhat A Gift To HumanityThank you for this podcast. I have been walking a season in my life of just…. Stuff. So. Much. Stuff. And after a year out from one of the most devastating set of situations and circumstances, I am beginning to process it all a bit more objectively. My days are filled with AA, kids, therapy, dogs, household responsibilities. In the midst of all of this I have BPD to make things just a bit more “interesting.” I stumbled upon this podcast in my search for mental health related podcasts to help me make it all make sense and it has been added to my daily listening and journaling. It’s truly a way I give myself love and help me get out of my own head in a way that doesn’t ignore or diminish my pain, rather it allows me to think larger and broader. To view the suffering I’ve been experiencing through the lense of teacher instead of monster. Thank you for these gorgeous talks and insightful hearts.
-
NafisherThe Best!I adore this podcast and Kate Bowler herself! She’s really helped us all navigate the very real/unreal experiences that happen in life! We’re all indebted to her and this beautiful community!

TXrunrWhat I needed todayI have been a hot mess since last Tuesday. A mix of grief, anger and complete confusion about our country and my place in it and how to move on. This show was pretty cathartic. I loved Parker’s poem about the Harrowed Fields. And about letting our hearts break to keep them soft. It’s going to take time and work but I’m hoping to find a way forward 💙
-

joourney woman 1957What a balm on this dayWhat a balm this episode is on the day, November 6, 2024. When you think things can’t get more ugly, sorrowful, or hopeless (why do bullies win?!), in comes wisdom, calm, and hope. Cannot thank you and Parker enough for such a lifeline today. Your blessings are always so beautiful and meaningful and the quote of Sherlyn Ifil is now on a postie on my laptop! We will never give up on peace love, and kindness. ♥️♥️♥️

SillygnirpsSo neededWith humility and honesty, this show deals with the hard stuff in life while still being optimistic and joyful. It is not a pod cast that is all lollipops and giggles. Not at all. But it shows you how you can find joy in the difficult. I am so thankful for this podcast.
-
