    Very informative
We learned about the Olin college of engineering from your podcast. It was not on our list of prospective schools, but we visited while we were in Boston looking at other schools, then mentioned it to our college counselor, and he said she should apply. which she did, and was thrilled to have been accepted. She loves it so far. This would never have happened but for your podcast.

Wonderful resource for students and families
The podcast consistently offers valuable insight into each aspect of the college admissions process, including paying for college. Highly recommend for students and their families, regardless of their particular situation.

Less and less helpful - better options don’t than this
They brag 100 % of their clients get into college - not a high bar at all ! Biased advice

Why does it take such a long time
For show notes to be added? I’m not going to listen until I know what a podcast is about and sometimes the info isn’t added for a week. This is the only podcast that does that.

A true partner in the college search and application process
This podcast has made me as close to an expert as any parent can be and helped me to be the best advocate for each of my children. My children are each different and I’ve been able to cater their search to their own personality, interest, and academic strengths and completed the college process with the best outcome for each! Very grateful for all the information and resources!

    Nice resource
Very helpful information. Thank you. It would be great if the host could let her guests speak more. I also hear a sense of superiority from the host when she talks about Penn.

    Great podcast!!
I absolutely love this podcast! It has been a delight listening to the whole team each week. I look forward to Thursdays around 5:00 pm 😉 I have learned so much from them all each week. When I have a question, which has been a few times now, they get right back to me. So helpful. My daughter was just admitted into BC early decision. I thanked them all because just listening to them each week (my daughter and I) We both learned a lot and I believe it helped my daughter with the application process and more. Have a wonderful holiday to you all!!

    The best college admissions resource
LOVE this podcast. Beth is an amazing host, the segments are quick and easily digestible with lots of actionable takeaways, and the show covers seemingly every part of the college admissions process. This is essential info for those in the thick of it!

Very helpful ! Could use some updates
This podcast was so helpful in navigating my child’s college search, applications, and final decision of where to attend! It’s like having a private coach. I emailed questions and they were always answered. Suggested updates The opening music sounds like the intro to toddler story time. It could be more age appropriate. Also the host repeated announces that she is mispronouncing a guests name- usually a name of a no Anglo Saxon person. In this day and age do your homework with a call or text and find out the phonetic pronounciation!

    So informative
I am so glad I stumbled upon this podcast. With a HS sophomore and junior I really needed to start acquainting myself with the state of college admissions today. They always seem to be answering a question that I have. I’ll be better equipped to help my kids navigate the process due to this podcast.

Great podcast for a solid understanding of the admissions process!
I have been listening to this podcast for 2 years. My daughter will be a Junior this fall. Sally, Ian, and Elizabeth have provided a wealth of information in an easy to understand, conversational, and relational way. I love that each podcast is broken up into segments allowing for bite size nuggets of admissions, financial aid, or simply student success knowledge to be shared without overwhelming the listener. I feel very prepared to assist my daughter this fall as a Junior and our college conversations continue around her aspirations for career, major, and college choice. I also appreciate their efforts in occasionally having guests speak on the unique college admissions process for underserved populations, as we are an African-American family.

    Great college admissions podcast
I’ve been listening to this podcast for almost a year now. The conversations are thought provoking and helpful. The hosts do a great job of giving lots of details without talking about just one type of student or school. Highly recommend this podcast!!

Great podcast. Makes the college application process understandable. Lots of good tips.
I’ve been listening for over two years and feel so well prepared for my kids’ (twins) college application experience. A great mix of basics and in-depth guidance. Wide variety of topics, with great advice for both selective and highly selective colleges.

    Less is more
Good information and great guests I keep wanting and trying to listen, but frankly, the host talks so much that the guests barely get a chance to answer before host is interrupts with her own knowledge.

    Professional advice
I listen to this podcast every week, sometimes go back to the old episodes for a better understanding of what pertains to my children. The hosts provide a great deal of valuable information which helps put my mind at peace. Have a better idea of how the college application process works reduces the level of anxiety I used to feel. Also, whenever I had questions, and posted them on their Facebook page, I always received a reply, as well as getting my questions answered on the podcast. I just cannot thank the hosts enough!

A cure for my parental anxiety
I would be lost at sea without this podcast. As a parent of a junior for the first time, and a British ex-pat, I have no idea about anything when it comes to the college system. This podcast is like a kind and experienced friend holding my hand and telling me it is all going to be ok. Every episode is informative, and even if I think that the topics of discussion won’t be relevant to me, there is always something in the episode that applies. So valuable, and I would recommend to anyone going through this process for the first time.

Take control of the college process!
I’ve gained so much knowledge! Thank you!!! I knew I had to educate myself on the college process. My husband and I didn’t attend college. My husband is a Marine veteran and has been able to inspire our rising junior to see the world beyond high school but that isn’t enough. I’ve been listening to this podcast for the last two years and feel confident about the start of this upcoming junior school year! I cannot thank you all enough! I feel like you all are my friends. Looking forward to continue listening/learning. So many changes around the corner!

    Updated review
I started listening to this weekly podcast a few months ago, as my son is a sophomore. This podcast has really helped calm my anxiety regarding college admissions and finance, through their in-depth knowledge that is packed with details. This was a crazy admissions year (particularly for the UC’s.) It’s unclear if the trends this year will continue, but I’m confident that these college coaches are on top of the latest information. I have learned so much and their book recommendations are excellent. I especially appreciate Elizabeth’s calming voice.

Podcast that takes you from panicked to prepared
Very happy to have discovered Getting In when I did. At first, I was a casual listener when I tuned in at the start of the pandemic with a sophomore and 7th grader. Now I look forward to new episodes every week and feel far less overwhelmed than I did a year ago. We’re well into junior year, and my son and I have been able to pace ourselves as we research schools and consider all the invaluable advice and information from experts and speakers on the podcast. It’s actually been fun to look into the buyer and seller schools and think about exciting options for schools that hadn’t been on our radar previously.

    Truly Indispensable Resource
This podcast was SO valuable a couple years ago to help me support my son with his college search and with my daughter getting into her ED1 college last weekend I can assure you it helped a lot this time too. I will also say this podcast is very responsive to FB messages, they would answer back with info and included my questions in a couple podcasts too. I will now be ending my run as an avid listener because both kids are in but I wanted to alert other parents to this great resource. Thank you College Coach Conversation Podcast! - Jonathan
