NdbtjdkodnsTerribleThe banter, horrible audio, and lack of information is not great. Sounds like there’s 5-6 hosts all talking over each other. And they aren’t even entertaining. Lots of shilling products in the first parts. Was hoping for more.

JeffDnls603Great info and just fun to joinI’m extremely thankful for these guys spending the time and getting such great info out. I been enjoying getting caught up. Thank you all. keep up the good work!
-
Alex GessnerGreat content and communityBeen a listener of the podcast here on Apple podcasts for a couple years now, love the increased quality over time and the great content! Each host brings a unique aspect to the show and that helps see things from multiple angles.

Pork-N-MoreBackground noiseHey guys love the show just wish y’all could control the background buzzing that is in most shows. Keep up the good work.
-
Wink-o-kidMy favorite Podcast!!These guys have helped me come from a newly interested in reloading person , to a seasoned reloader who has helped explain the safe way to several other people. I enjoy the banter between the people, i have never met them but consider them all my friends!! Cartridge corner is a good place to learn the origins of common and obscure cartridges from around the world. Thank you and keep up the good work

Rog7157Love this podcastI started reloading around the same time this podcast started and i have enjoyed this podcast tremendously. If you like to reload this is the podcast too download BY FAR. Thanks

Steam LD50My first year reloading, don’t learn here.First 3min of the podcast sounds like some yuppies that have been, should have or will be banned from shooting ranges. Guy 1 loads 800rnds of garbage without checking a single round. ( can’t even load .45acp) Guy 1 same week puts .270win in his 30-06. Multiple rounds until someone stops him... all of the first 5min have humor as mentioned above, like farting in the bathtub at 5 by yourself. Add 2 other boomers and it’s just weird. Makes you wonder where some of the crazy California legislation comes from (it’s these guys). Ps don’t eat or drink on the mic.

Chuck28589HorribleI’m just getting into reloading and was hoping to listen to this to gain some knowledge. Instead I just found poor audio quality, and mostly irrelevant banter. The hosts are not funny and there is very little information given. This is by far the worst firearms related podcast I’ve listened to. Definitely not worth your time.
-
Below-meSlow, tedious and haphazard. No organization, poor sound quality and good information is few and far between. I tried five different episodes and just can’t do it anymore. Their monkey does nasty stuff to their football.
-
PraxishuntingWhy so much dead air?!?First listen and I kept thinking something was wrong with my data speed but there is just way too much dead air and off topic random thoughts.
-
nickrideNew listener old reloaded.Just found the show, great info and fun to listen too while reloading.

Skirmishes snickkelfritzOccasionally useful, lots of fluff, some armchair citizen scienceA ton of chewing the fat on this podcast makes for a pretty poor signal-to-noise ratio. Some recent pontificating about public safety measures due to the current public health crisis puts it in the realm of misinformation. Still, sometimes they talk about reloading and it’s pretty darn helpful.

Rough WorldThe info is where?Hate to have to write this. I’ve listened to the podcast for a few years. In the beginning y’all were awkward as we all are at the start of something new. But there was a sort of planned sequence, and darn it it was about reloading. Then y’all went into a phase I call ‘a cult of personalities’ where each host has there little shtick, one is sorta drowsy all of the time, another Herps out together and moves things along. There’s the ‘ol’ timer, and the upstart, always selling selling selling. But along the way, it lost something. It was about reloading ammunition, not about shticks. I’ve hoped to be informed about the process, materials, equipment, supplies; testing, using, measuring, grading, shipping; learning new stuff, reinforcing old. I have never reloaded, but I feel from this source and others that I could someday, assuming I pick the right equipment, and everything else. Should I, I’ll be joining an ever shrinking pool, face it. I’ve only shot or held a shotgun a few times. I traded my 20ga off some 40 years ago. Like the rest of this broader topic it fascinates me, tho. Listening to the first episode on the topic, much awaited, I feel shortchanged. It was a collection of random statements, largely playing to a live audience I was not a part of, and most of it did not fit together, but if true, was for the very experienced or down some particular shady trail.... While y’all claim not to be political, I’ve heard a lot of partial talk in your podcasts. Should the actual moral human being win the next election you guys may wish you hadn’t burned so many bridges and not scorched all of that earth. Either way,I hope you’ll earn back those stars by playing to ALL OF YOUR AUDIENCE, and possibly talking first and foremost about the topic of reloading ammunition. That’ll be the day

bcoutfitersThumbs downI can’t make it past the first minute of any of these , really unprofessional, annoying intro, stupid hubbub that doesn’t end. I was really hoping to learn something, but can’t bring myself to get that far
-
BigTim1112Amazing podcastThe info provided on this podcast is amazing from beginner to handloader or experienced with relative topics and info on new products Love it
-
CutchyaEducate yourself AND laughGreat podcast . No matter how much you know you will learn from this podcast. Im 53 my whole life has been guns and I still have things to learn. They cater to the beginner but do go down the rabbit hole an some topics . Even if you have a lot of experience this show will make you think about things you may have not thought about or thought about in a long time . Shooting is a perishable skill and so Is reloading
-
Big ****Very well producedI spend all day in a semi, listening to other podcasts I hear a lot of podcasts that they don’t have the audio balanced, these guys might take some time at the beginning of each show getting the audio correct but it’s worth it.
-
Dvcer.21Great contentReally, they are worth a listen
-
PeteJustAGuyGood information, good people, time well spentI look forward to listening each week in the same way I look forward to getting together with a couple of long standing shooting buddies. The information is good, and the conversation (we in the audience are basically listening in to a conversation between like minded friends who reload) is mostly adult but always family friendly. I like this podcast well enough to support the group on Patreon.
-
Best Camera AppGreat PodcastAs a new reloader I found this podcast very helpful in getting me started in reloading. I enjoy the cast as they feed off each other and provide an entertaining format for the information that is provide. I recommend this podcast to any one looking to start reloading.
-
Larry CunninghamOne of my Favorites!!!I can't wait to hear it. I look forward to each and every episode and think of you as family and friends talking about what they love which makes this a great podcast.
-
Deserthawk1234Great podcast but not regularly maintainedGreat show. That said, the content is not updated regularly and often lags two to three episode behind the postings on YouTube. Recommend simultaneous postings. I’d rather listen via podcast than to listen on YouTube.
-
bayamasakia fun listen with a bunch of friendsThe Reloading Podcast is my favorite Podcast. I really enjoy the laid back and casual vibe. Various topics are discussed each week and are dissected from various points of view. Hosts give perspectives from the vantage point of precicion handloaders, to bulk reloaders, to wildcatters, bench rest shooters, competition 3 gunners, plinkers and the like. The focus is on newer reloaders and giving sound information for a long and safe lifetime of reloading. However, in depth and advanced topics can always be covered with their accompanying facebook and mewe communities where practically any question can be asked and discussed by a whole host of friendly, fellow reloaders and even the Podcast Hosts themselves who are very accessible and accomodating.

DubfromGACompletely enjoy your podcast !!!!!I found out about The Reloading Podcast back in August of this year. I was getting back into reloading after a ten+ year hiatus. I’ve been getting my gear purchased and have the supplies needed for my bench. Going to set it up in a spare bedroom. Georgia heat & humidity is tough on gear, components and me...no garage set up this time around. While searching iTunes for reloading related stuff I found your podcast. Listened to the current episode that week and have since gone back and listened to most all of them. Great show that is thoroughly enjoyable. I look forward to each week’s episode. I think you have a great balance of personality and knowledge on the show. You guys never fail to get me laughing and keep things interesting. I read Phil’s book and have to say it was excellent. Scary scenario that could easily unfold in our society if we aren’t careful. Well written and compelling. Hopefully he will earn enough from it to buy a proper 4x4 truck and get the .338 Lapua rifle he’s wanting. Hopefully Jim will one day give the powder coated heads a try. Hopefully. Of course his Dan Wesson is going to shoot any bullet with great precision. I’d like to hear more about his .280AO. I have an older long action M700 that I want to rebarrel. That’s a caliber that has my interest. Travis amazes me with the amount of competitive shooting he does. There is a guy who is having major gun fun. A man that shoots that much can better appreciate the superiority of powder coated projectiles. He doesn’t have time for gummy fuzzy stuff on his ammo. The show would be easier to understand if Jason didn’t talk so much. Can’t hardly hear the other guys talk. Just kidding. He’s one of those guys who says a lot when he speaks. I think we both probably shoot much of the same calibers, too. Mike, lastly....I wanted to thank you for all the work you put into the show. You pull everything together and make an enjoyable experience for guys like me to appreciate. I catch the show when I’m driving to or from work...after putting in 13+ hour shifts. Winding down and sipping a cup of coffee and enjoying the great show. The episode where Mike unboxed and set up the Dillon 650 wound up costing me money.....encouraged me to buy a 650.....then refunded it and got the 750. I also bought a 550 that I will do my hunting rifle stuff on. I was hoping that Travis would update us on the new Lyman Brass Master trimmer. I need a trimmer solution and that one looks promising. Thanks guys. Keep after it and know there are a pile of folks listening in and enjoying the show. Greg

Jim from MissouriInformative as well as entertaining! This show provides a wealth of knowledge about the world of reloading. The host are a individual and unique with one common bond, a love for reloading and the will to share it with anyone. I’ve been listening for years. I had no mentor in my life to help me along my path to becoming a confident reloader. I was self taught, with the help of these guys, and the books they suggested. Reloading has become a favorite pass time of mine. Honestly making the ammo is just as fun and relaxing as shooting it. I can’t recommend this podcast enough if you are learning to reload or just want to listen to other like minded enthusiasts who share a passion for making ammo. Fantastic show, thanks , and keep the shows coming! Jim R. From Missouri

Dr Carl SmithJim Do You Smell Toast Burning?Funniest thing I’ve heard in a while. I Love this podcast. Please keep cartridge corner. Every episode. I love history of cartridges. Jim reads fine. I love each show as numerous topics are covered weekly. Crimping and 5.7 primers are an example. Thanks again guys!!
-
PistolPicklenot a bad showMy sense of humor is a bit different on some stuff but its a good show. One downside is on the catridge of the week some wrong information. One caliber they where reading off said noone makes guns it in from factory but at least one does. Have picked up some relaoding tips and product reviews are nice. I miss the giveaways because of the way I listen since I am usally behind a bit.
-
jwilliams9162It’s a good show for all stages of reloadersI found the podcast about a year ago and listen daily. I really enjoy bantering back-and-forth between the host it makes for good time. The only thing that would make the show better is if Phil would get that 338 Lappula. Keep up the good work. Thanks Josh Williams

john the techGreat podcastAlways get new info from the guys
-
YacmedGreat for new and experienced handloadersI've been handloading for 3 years and found this podcast about 2.5 years ago. Their archive of episodes covers all kinds of material for people new to the hobby as well as experienced people. The hosts do have fun with each other and some friendly ribbing is common and helps make them more approachable than some other technical podcasts I listen too. Their opinions are not always the same on topics which is helpful to know that there isn't always only one way to do a task in reloading. I would recommend this to anyone getting into the hobby as well as those that have been doing it a while.
-
Aprilia_RacerThere’s good info and good entertainment...I like the podcast format; load data (powders, primers, projectiles....), cartridge background, equipment information (Dillon XL 750 vs XL650), PRC discussion and guys sitting around talking the craft. I like it. It’s great
-
RongoloidKnowledgeable podcastBeen listening for half a year or so. Enjoy the podcast. Have picked up some good info along the way. Wish I could remember what episode it was where they were talking about bench height. Didn’t think it would ever apply to me but here I am building a new reloading room.....
-
Mark McClellandThis is not a professional podcast and that's okay.I recently started listening to this podcast and I enjoy it very much. I have read some of the more critical reviews and I agree with most of the complaints. The audio is not great, although I've heard worse, much worse. They do tend to get off topic easly and bust each others chopps a lot. this is not a professional podcast and to me that is okay. The hosts remind me of when I get with my friends around a reloading bench and pass info, tell storys, and enjoy each others company and shared hobbie. I learn things listening to this podcast and would like to thank the hosts for doing it. Sometimes I even learn things that have nothing to do with reloading.....bingo wings?

Fly4TroutFavorite podcastHi fellas, I have been listening to your podcast as well as some others and have found the reloading podcast to be my favorite by far. The relationship you all have with one another and the way that you include and engage your listeners is to be commended. I was involved in the tool and die industry for 26 yrs so I tend to relate to Jim quite well. That being said, I think all of you are top notch. I do have a question...Jim, I have heard you make reference to using a bullet trap, is that a store bought unit or a homemade setup and do you use it indoors? I live in Mid-Michigan and it gets a bit nippy in winter and I would like to shoot in my pole barn. Thanks to all for keeping me smiling while driving this semi up and down the road. It is nice to know that this is not a closed or private podcast. It is meant for the public at large to interact with. If you happen to disagree with something they say, drop them an email or leave them a voicemail regarding your concerns and chances are they will either get back to you directly or bring up your concerns on a future episode. They freely admit that they are not perfect and make mistakes once in a while. They are truly thankful if you point out an issue so the correct info is given to the listeners. Safety is definitely a top priority. Jim Middaugh

Lindy Ruff for PresidentAwesome crewThese guys have a lot of experience in reloading metallic and shotshell. They come from different areas of the country and offer different backgrounds to add to the discussion. They’re great guys who just want to grow the hobby/craft.

Drice2You just can't please everybody!I might be fairly new to the reoading game, but I love this podcast. I have heard several times Jim one of the co-hosts say they cater to the "newbie" and I have learned a great deal from these 5 guys and many "special guests" they have had on the last 16 months or so I have been listening to it. I also look forward to Tuesday nights and pick it up "live " on YouTube while it's being recorded. I also started listening to another podcast because of The Reloading Podcast by another co-host of this show his name is Phil (I'm not even going to try to spell that last name) LOL! His podcast while it takes another path on the 2A trail, I find it also very entertaining. Thanks guys for everything you do.

SharpeC1974very InfomativeWhere I have only been reloading for about a year I have found this podcast very informative. Between the hosts and guests they have on the show you are provided with a great amount of information. While they are serious about reloading they also have fun with each other and the listeners. I have spoken to several of the hosts via email and messenger asking for clarification and information to ensure Im heading in the right direction and have always reveived honest and timely feedback. The reviews of different reloading gear are great and will let you know if the gear is worth the money or not and what might be a better option. Keep up the good work.

talon937Getting worse...At first, I would give the guys on this podcast a break, as they were learning how to podcast and they were giving useful tidbits of information. However, they have been doing it long enough to be more professional. Travis is the only one who is attempting to make it more serious (reloading is serious business!) The rest of the crew is trying to outdo each other with their "knowledge." It is rare to make iit through a podcast without having to skip parts or just turn it off. BTW, get rid of the Cartridge Corner. Someone just reading a website or WikiPedia is painful to endure. The nuggets of info are becoming rarer and rarer.
-
JtotheRtotheGBallistic Coefficient matters. Was enjoying this until when discussing 6.5 vs .308 it was said that the 308 would have less wind drift because of the heavier bullet. C’mon guys. Both calibers are awesome, but math doesn’t lie.
-
RSChapinExcellentI’ve listened to them all. It’s hard to comprehend having so much material, but it’s there.
-
Proudtexan556Best Reloading PodcatsThis is the best Reloading Podcast I’ve come across... From the basics, to advanced, to troubleshooting, to casting, they cover just about all of it... It’s like hanging around the reloading bunch with a bunch of reloading buddies, “family friendly” buddies. Yeah, a great group of Podcats... The only thing you will have to get past, is that they will read instructions first, rather than screwing up and THEN reading the instructions...
-
Brookebrooke9996Great showGreat guys. Great show. Very informational!!
-
Jhelms1Awful, disorganized mess of a podcastI listened to this podcast for 6 months. I just recently stopped because it is getting worse and not better. I wanted it to succeed. I enjoy reloading and have been doing so for over 10 years. The reloading community needs better than this. I have emailed the podcast with ideas on how to make it better but never heard back. The hosts don’t set up for the podcast and it is done by the seat of their pants. If you want a boys club where everyone constantly rips on each other then this is it. They are off topic more than on topic. Poor audio and set up. Hosts getting visibly drunk and slurring his speech, check that box off. Reloading is a very serious hobby and can be very dangerous. We deserve better than this train wreck.

unclebadtouch86Appreciate the informationI truly appreciate the information provided on a podcast like this. I listen to 30+ hours of podcast every week and love when information is gained from that. Unfortunately the sound quality and the off topic ramblings about what the one dude is gonna do with his storage shed/reloading shop (episode 199) makes me steer clear of podcast like this. Seriously had a headache after 45 minutes between two episodes because of the awful sound quality. Wish y’all the best
-
Swarr308QuestionI can’t find an email for y’all so I am writing this in a review! Can you PLEASE do a episode on the 257roberts?!?!?!?
-
Maverick546890Great PodcastWent from loading rifle powder in a pistol case (never again) 6.5 years ago. To just hitting a million 5.56 rounds loaded, I would say that the knowledge I have gained from this podcast has helped me advance way faster in reloading.
-
rustyNstlGreat PodcastI have been listening for around 6 months. I even listened to the early podcasts which I pulled off their website. Fantastic group of guys with entertaining banter...don’t change a thing BTW. I have been reloading since 1993, use a lee single stage, a Redding T7 for rifle, and dual Dillon 650’s for pistol ( one large primer and one small primer. Just pointing this out to add weight to my next comment. I haven’t heard an episode yet where I didn’t learn something new. I have also watched the live podcast a couple of times which is fun because Jim ( the old fella) seems to fall asleep frequently;) I highly recommend this podcast...my favorite out of many. Keep up the good work Gents. PS: please enter me in the Dillon 1050 giveaway ur holding next week. Lol
-
textopcatGood usful information and adviseVery detailed descriptions and pitfalls that might happen during the reloading process. The guests and hosts have much experience and it shows. My only complaint is that they spend most of the show on "rifle" reloading and I only do 9mm/.45ACP reloading. Would like more on the pistol side, but there is much of the rifle information that carries over.
-
Jboomer59Enjoy listening.I have not had the chance to watch live, but enjoy listening to the podcast. You guys do a good job, of answering questions and passing on your reloading knowledge. I’ve been reloading and hand loading for about 34 years, but there’s always something to learn. Keep up the good work. Archie Blair
-
Fixit 156What a great podcastThis is the first podcast that i listen to at work. love the atmosphere of the show. hang out with like minded people. have been reloading for over 35 five years and still learn something. Keep up the good work guys. and you should respect your elders like Jim. :)
