    Vinnie Vincent’s Lost Box Set
I have been a loyal listener for almost the entire length of the show and let me tell ya it’s one of the best shows out there for hard rock and heavy metal music and the best part? THEY SUPPORT NEWER BANDS!! I’ve become really close friend with Chris and Aaron over the last few years and if I could give 5 pink stars I definitely would but just Like Vinnie Vincent those are coming in the mail for a hefty fee of $5000 and a letter that says I SAVED KISS!!! Hope you get a great laugh reading this

    A step above
Chris and Aaron really are a step above all the other music podcasts. The cream of the crop

    Excellent Show
This might be my favorite hard rock/metal show. I love all the deep or obscure albums/tracks and the interviews are phenomenal. The interviews with former KISS crew members are the best. It would be great to interview Alan Miller or Billy Miller from the 70’s KISS Management. I am not sure if they are still alive but just a thought. I would also love to hear anything on Salty Dog, The Scream or Spread Eagle. Three very underrated bands from the 80’s. Keep up the excellent work though. This podcast is what I have been waiting for. Thanks!

    AWESOME PODCAST
I came across this podcast a couple years ago. Geekwire is my favorite pat of the show. I’m an old fogey and stuck to the standard rock and metal from way back. I will check out newer bands depending on how they are reviewed. The hosts are super cool and come across as old buddies I dig the Aaron because of his cool laugh!! 😂😂😂😂🤣. Over time they have interviewed some of my favorites most recently one of my heroes, Ace Frehley! A most excellent interview. If you LOVE Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, and LOVE to have a fun time listening to a podcast, then look no further than Decibel Geek!!!!

Best Hard Rock podcast out there!
I have listened to a lot of Hard Rock podcasts over the years, but this best. Not only are the topics and music spot on, Chris and Aaron produce it it such a professional way. I even enjoy the episodes on topics I normally would not tune into. Keep up the great work men. And a Jackyl Episode would be awesome!

The way a podcast should be.
If you’re sick of your podcast host talking about him/herself for the first five minutes of a podcast only to not be entertained by him/ her mentioning the word, I or me 20 times a minute throughout the rest of the podcast hearing how him /her are best friends with the same guest rockers they are interviewing week after week and how him/her are responsible for getting classic bands back together and how him/ her have a home in Las Vegas & one on the Jersey shore then this is the podcast for you, much more entertaining than any other rock podcast out there. The collaboration between Aaron and Chris is priceless. These guys always know what they’re talking about and they keep it interesting with a little humor and with the different shows they bring each week & boy do they bring it. I hope Chris and Aaron are around for a long time and I hope to meet up with them someday ,perhaps at rock& pod keep up the good work guys Jake Kelly

One of the best rock podcast out there!
I’ve been a deciebel geek listener for quite awhile and just wanted to thank you for the countless hours of enjoyment and new band recommendations. Your best of 2023 was an awesome episode. The new bands such as Fortune Child and Roadwolf have taken over my playlist. I am most thankful that you guys introduced me to the Crown Lands. Easily my favorite band over the past ten years. Keep up the great work of keeping rock and metal alive!!!!

The best rock/ metal podcast out there!
Love listening to you guys every week. As a metal head of a certain age, it’s so refreshing listening to guys of my age group talking about all the great music I grew up on and still rock out to. Keep up the good work guys! 🤘🤘🤘

    Brothers in Rock
Been listening for a few years now and from day one, it has seemed as if you were nosing around in all of my playlists. Love the different themes and ideas but the alternate Kiss episode was absolutely fantastic. Keep coming up with those great ideas and interviews. All you need now is more Sammy Hagar. No you don’t.

Always look forward to your show every week. Been listening for years. Have to speak up though, How dare thee besmirch the song “Hot Dog”. Ha ha. I love that song. I honestly do.

    Alternate KISStory a Hit!
As a topic, I was a little skeptical about this episode but when it was all over, Aaron really outdid himself! This has become one of my favorite episodes in your entire catalog! I think you should do more of these segments—Imagine an alternate reality where Ace’s ‘78 solo album becomes the best selling album of all time and Ace becomes bigger than Elvis! You could even take the concept outside the world of Kiss. Imagine another alternate reality where instead of joining Van Halen, Sammy Hagar and Neal Schon (after he quits Journey when Steve Smith and Ross Valory get ousted during the making or Raised On Radio) further pursue their one off HSAS project and hit big. Not to shamelessly plug, but that album wasn’t half bad, and had this happened in reality, Sammy would have avoided the wrath of Van Halen fans. The possibilities are endless.

Horns up to a great podcast!!
Excellent rock knowledge. After listening to murder/crime podcasts for the last 3 years, Thanks for not making it seems like the world all morbid crazy. At least rock stars at funny crazy. Only have about 500 episodes left to catch up on!!!

Decibal Geek. A pod after my own musical heart
THANK YOU TO AARON AND CHRIS FOR MAKING ONE OF THE COOLEST PODCASTS OUT THERE! I APPRECIATE THAT THESE GUYS SHARE MY PASSION FOR HEAVY AND HARD ROCKIN TUNES FROM A WIDE RANGE OF ARTISTS. MY LOVE OF ROCK AND METAL BEGAN WHEN I WAS A PRE-TEEN BACK IN THE LATE 70’S LISTENING TO MY BROTHERS EXTENSIVE RECORD COLLECTION THAT RANGED FROM AEROSMITH TO ZEPPLIN. THE BEST THING WAS JUST SITTING IN FRONT OF THE BIG MAGNAVOX CONSOLE STEREO PULLING OUT THE LINER NOTES AND JUST ABSORBING EVERYTHING HARD ROCK AND HEAVY METAL. ONCE I COULD DRIVE AND HAD A LITTLE MONEY OF MY OWN TO SPEND, THE LOCAL “BOOGIE RECORDS” WAS THE FIRST PLACE I WOULD GO EVERY PAYDAY TO PICK UP THE LATEST MUSIC FROM MY EVER EXPANDING LIST OF BANDS I FOLLOWED AND WENT TO SEE LIVE WHENEVER I COULD. THE DECIBAL GEEK PODCAST BRINGS ME BACK TO THOSE TIMES AND I LOVE IT! KEEP ON ROCKIN’

    THE BEST
I discovered the Decibel Geek podcast while working a boring overnight shift 7 years ago. I was blown away by their professionalism and genuine dedication to all things hard rock and metal. Some podcasts I’ve stopped listening to because of redundancy and sheer boredom of the hosts. With the Decibel Geek, I look forward to new episodes. I have even listened to some episodes multiple times. I can’t say that about any other podcast. The honest friendship between hosts Chris and Aaron are what I thinks makes this show as good as it is. It’s been said before by other reviewers but it truly does feel like hanging out with friends talking about the music we love.
  • Troy J. Maturin
    Great host and great show.
For the metal heads in you life this is a must podcast. Arron and Chris are funny and informative. I listen to every podcast the day it comes out. Like hanging with your best friends and discussing your favorite music. Ok guys, It would be 4 1/2 if I could because of calling my favorite singer in the world, Sammy Hagar an idiot in the Live from Indy episode. You guys complain about Motley Crue and KISS using backup tracks constantly and I totally agree! Sammy Hagar is out there with Michael Anthony bringing classic Van Halen tracks and singing and performing them the way they sounded back then live and sounding the same vocally! Give the man some credit! If anyone is a clown or an idiot it is David Lee Roth, voice gone there is years...if anyone should be out there lip syncing it is Dave. Now back to the praise... keep up the good work entertaining all of us! I Can't Drive 55 either, Troy J. Maturin

A Must Listen for Fans of Hard Rock & Metal
I’ve been a listener of this podcast now for several years. Chris and Aaron are great hosts, and their chemistry together is really cool. They do different themes each week, but the goal is always the same: To share their passion for the music with their listeners. They are also very funny. Check this podcast out!

DG is a great rock and roll podcast. I think it’s great that Aaron knows more about Turbonegro than Queensryche.

    REALLY good!
i heard 2 episodes today that talked about two of my favorite albums with two people from a band i absolutely LOVE - Tesla. so then i’ve been binging on more the rest of today and likely on thru the night. if you like rock music and talking about rock music you’ll fit in… and this will fit in you. it’s a group thing… don’t get caught up in the logic.

Chris and Aaron rank up there as one of the best duos of all time. If you like hard rock and metal, you will love this podcast. You will think you are sitting around just talking music with your buds. They know their stuff and most of all know how to entertain. You will not be disappointed, plus Aaron has the best laugh in the business!!!

Long time listener, first time reviewer…
This is a great podcast, I usually fast forward once the show starts when they banter around abit, but once they dig into the topic of the episode it’s all fun and enjoyable to listen to. As a avid music fan myself, these guys seem to know their stuff. I especially like the demolicious shows. Keep it hard and keep on rockin’ guys!
  • TKelley70
    Very entertaining.
I always look forward to the two of them just talking about great music. It’s a good way to kill some time while driving or hanging outside. If you love music you will love this podcast.

    Fresh Blood April 2022
Wow! What an episode! This was one of my favorites. This is a fantastic podcast for fans of rock and metal. I’m an old school rocker so I know where of I speak. It’s so good to hear new bands carrying the torch for music that was so important to me as a kid. If you’re lucky you might even catch a round of “Beat the Geek”, or an over view of an old Hit Parade/ Circus magazine from back in the day. Straddling the line of classic and future rock, it’s hard to deny Decibel Geek. Thanks, man. Dean

    Never A Dull Moment
I've been listening to this show for about 5 years now, and I have to admit, there's never a bad episode. Chris and Aaron bring a lifetime of experience in the rock and metal music scene. As fans, their opinions are always fun, and based on facts. They have conducted top notch interviews with some of the biggest names in the business, and leave no stone unturned in their questioning. Always a great listen, from music news, to new bands you need to hear, to in depth album reviews, you will always be entertained. A 5 star podcast, hosted by two 5 star dudes. Keep up the good work!

    My go to Podcast
Been listening for quite a while now and this is my absolute go to show. Love the knowledge of rock-n-roll music especially from my era. My first show was Frehley’s Comet in Charlotte back in 1987. Second show was Crue on the Girls tour with GnR opening, also in Charlotte NC. Thank you for taking the time to keep the memories intact and showing us some newer music that’s harder for to find. Keep up the great work and always looking forward to the next episode.

    One of the Best!
The Decibel Geek Podcast is one the best! So great that I just made a donation so my good buddy and Decibel Geek listener Kal Hinz can co-host! Chris and Aaron are funny and very knowledgeable on Rock music just like my buddy Kal Hinz! I’m confident Kal will make a great co-host as he’s well spoken and one of the funniest guys I know. He also comes a voice for radio and graduated at or near the top half of his high school class. Thanks for the entertainment!!

    New Rock
Today’s podcast was great. Heard all new music that is not heard on the radio. I listen while I work. I live in Utah. I live alone and work from home so like having voices and music playing. You 2 are so much fun to listen to. I would like to introduce you to a band that I heard a few years ago while I was on vacation in CA. We went to check out Whiskey A GoGo and heard this band from Baltimore, now I follow them on Facebook. American Jetset rock/punk.

    Best rock podcast… period
I know rock is not the biggest thing these days, but in my humble opinion, it’s the greatest music ever made. With that said, Aaron and Chris do a great job every episode. Deep dives that I’ve never heard of, and I end up in metal rabbit holes, and great interviews and content. Give it a listen and you won’t be disappointed.. unless you hate KISS, then you might have issues.

    Two Of The Good Guys
I’ve written a review of the Decibel Geek podcast before (Episode 355, March 2019), but I felt it was time to do so again. July 14th, 2021 was a sad day in the world of Rock-n-Roll, as we lost two 80’s Hard Rock icons: Cinderella guitarist Jeff LaBar, and KISS / Cinderella keyboardist Gary Corbett. After this horrible news, Chris Czynszak graciously posted a great picture of Jeff, along with Jeff’s family statement, and AAron Camaro posted a great picture of Jeff and himself together out on a fun night of drinking and mischief (a picture taken by Eric Czynszak). Great memories of the friendship that Chris

    Long Time Coming
Came across a mention of this podcast while reading an article on the Sleaze Roxx.com. Decided to check it out, and have loved it ever since. Listened to it weekly while at work, until I retired last year. Then I downloaded the Stitcher app, and listened to every episode except one that aired on April 1st. I am now qualified to make a review of the Decibel Geek Podcast. These guys get it. I enjoy listening to two guys who I would of hung out with in high school and talked about the music we love. I would recommend this podcast to anyone who enjoys hard rock and heavy metal. And when this world gets back on its feet again I look forward to going out and supporting the bands we have all been listening to.

    Great show!
My interest in the whereabouts of Vinnie Vincent brought me to this podcast about ten years ago and I’ve been a fan of it since. Each show is entertaining and worth a listen for fans of all things hard rock. One of the best music podcasts out there. Keep up the great work guys.

Check out this podcast! If you like taking rock music, hearing cool interviews, and discovering new bands Decibel Geek needs to be on your subscription list. No doubt if I had known Chris and AAron when we were kids we definitely would have traded some cassettes.

While trying to find a new music podcast, I found Chris and Aaron. Decibel Geek is like a road trip with your friends talking music. If you even remotely like hard rock or heavy metal you have to give these guys a listen. Funny and a good source of new music. Thanks boys.

Thank goodness for the decibel geek podcast
I wanted to reach out and thank Chris and Aaron for their contribution to the entire music community. They have stepped in and filled a hole where MTV, VH1, radio and other methods of listening to and discussing music have vacated. We all owe them a big hearty NICE WORK gentlemen. Personally, I tune in each work to listen to the music I love being treated with equal parts reverence and comedy - just as it should be. Like a great band, they have chemistry. Can't fake it and can't manufacture it. It is either there or it isn't. They have it and we are all the beneficiaries. Keep rockin guys and thank you for everything. Long live the Decibel Geek Podcast!

    Love this podcast!
I fall into the perfect age group for this Podcast. I was 6 in ‘78 and became a lifelong KISS fan that year, and all the music that surrounded them. I feel like I’m back in High School shooting the shot with my music geek buddies and love every minute of it.
