    Great guys with great material
I love this podcast. The amount of work and effort that is done to bring so many great classics to DVD and Blu-ray is very commendable. Physical media is still better for many reason, particularly because there are some films that haven’t even been released on VHS, so their work is still a very important aspect in Home Media Collecting. Keep it up you guys!

    Finally, It All Makes Sense!
Ever wonder why ‘Seven Brides for Seven Brothers’ is available on Seven different DVD offerings? Is the feature film on those products all equal? If not, how do they differ? Which is highest quality? Is the pricier Blu-Ray better still? Are any of these versions better than what I can see on TCM? This podcast answers all those questions with simple technical explanations. This is ultimately a promotional vehicle for Warner Archive which takes great care to release only best-in-class versions of films from many different studios. By listening to this podcast you will understand why their Blu-Ray and DVD releases are different (better) than previous releases and then you can make up your own mind on this important issue... How do you want to see and own ‘Seven Brides for Seven Brothers’: -Warner Archive Blu-Ray -Warner Archive DVD -Turner Classic Movies TV Channel -Legacy DVD I also enjoy the witty banter of the three hosts. They don’t talk just to talk. They each have something useful to add. Keep it up, Warner Archive. We love you! Sincerely, Chili Steve —— End of Warner Archive Review —— A Related Podcast Recommendation... I got my feet wet on preservation and technical issues with this podcast but the master class in these issues is at the Nitrateville Radio Podcast. It is not a commercial podcast but just driven by passionate film lovers.

    Phenomenal Podcast
I am so happy we got the Tex Avery Screwball Classics Volume 1 Blu-ray and can’t wait for more. These look better then ever. They look gorgeous. Far better then the Turner Prints and the Terrible Laserdisc Prints. This podcast is very informative. Hope WarnerArchive can release more classic cartoons. Particularly Tex Avery MGM Cartoons, Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry. Barney Bear would be a treat too. Also please do not omit cartoons like Uncle Tom’s Cabana and Half-Pint Pygmy. They aren’t offensive. Also if you release a Tom and Jerry Golden Collection Volume 2, you should the use the remastered prints you have already made for Polka Dot Puss up to Life With Tom and just remaster Mouse Cleaning and Casanova Cat and don’t omit them please

    Excellent podcast.
I just started listening to this podcast due to the release of the new Tex Avery blu ray set. The podcast is informative and entertaining. Please keep releasing more classic cartoons on blu ray, particularly Tex Avery, Tom and Jerry, and Looney Tunes. They are treasures of American history. Glad to see them being made available in high definition in all their Technicolor glory!

They’ve hit the right blend of banter and film knowledge
The Warner library is so large and the mandate of the Warner Archive team is so broad that no listener could possibly be interested in more than a fraction of their weekly releases. However, I enjoy the knowledge and enthusiasm on every episode of the podcast, even if the pictures and shows being discussed are not always my style.

    A real treasure
I had no idea that studios would create shorter radio plays of feature films back in the golden age. It's such a time machine into a bygone era. I'm getting wistful just thinking about it. Wonderful podcast!

    Where did WAC go???
Amazingly, despite being essentially an infomercial, this podcast transcends mere advertising and is a truly informative and entertaining take on the films released through the Warner Archive. But there has not been a new episode since early November 2014! C'mon fellas, time to return to the microphones...

What a Gift to Classic Movie Lovers!
Love this. The hosts are well schooled in the history of cinema and work so well together, it’s a treat to listen to! Also love the Warner Instant Archive site. Genius decision to start this all. I love history, and this is loaded with the history of film and television.

    Good Stuff
I could listen to just about anyone go on about old movies. These 3 go on like a bunch of old women. Chattering and clucking and trading trivia. They tend to over talk a bit, but the information is fun to listen to. They're just a bit cagey about when new titles are going to be released by I guess that is to be expected. I would they would give just a bit more behind the scenes info on what is going into the actual remastering process or what legal entanglements are holding up this or that release.

A great introduction to film history!
I really enjoy the podcast because it covers a lot of great films, many of which have never been available for home viewing. George and the gang do a great job of pointing out facts and tidbits that are little known about the films or actors, although some of them are a bit of a stretch to see why they might be interesting. I especially enjoy the interview episodes because they introduced me to people that I would have more or less overlooked in my growing passion for all things cinema, or they give inside info on popular actors and movies from the people who experienced it.

A Facsinating Podcast for Film Enthusiasts
What a marvelous concept to also have a Warner Archive podcast, showcasing lots of entertaining bygone radio programs and theater plays from M-g-M and Warner Brothers once largely unavailable. It is really interesting hear old time radio of re-anactments of the studio's movies reworked as radio theater showcases, sometimes starring even main players from the actual pictures. The Podcast also ranges to interviews with various actors, and my favorite part of the podcast, a retrospective on Vitaphone the notable sound film technology, responsible towards the true successes of both sound on film and the Warner Brothers establishment. It presents rare vitaphone sound discs of short subject films starring many interesting bands and musicians popular in that time of the twenties, and it comes with a suprise, The earliest vitaphone disc in existence with a message from Jack Warner! Overall it's a really fun podcast.

Thanks to Warner Brothers for preserving the great Theater of the Mind!
These radio performances are wonderful and entertaining stories of bygone years. They are great fun to listen too, then catch the full movie version. I wish more of our modern film makers would create radio versions of big movies like Lucas did with the original Star Wars for radio.
