For instance saying that she can forgive a murder before she can forgive someone being homophobic is just uncalled for. Really was cringe to hear her say that other than that I like the pod. Edit now we’re talking about marriage being possessive how is calling somebody my wife being possessive isn’t that the whole of marrying someone ???

Chazz Micheal MichealzThat’s my wifeI usually really enjoy listening to this show but the last two episodes I’ve had to stop listening early. The whole “ that’s my wife” talk is just infuriating. Remy and Lucy harping on the “toxic masculinity” quote from Rick is just ridiculous. When someone says my wife or my husband or my child it’s not this possessive label. I mean how else would you want him to say it? I noticed Lucy has no problem saying my partner when referring to Peter, but My wife is toxic? Come on!

rtatum85SJW alertGlad I’m not the only one thinking they put a magnifying glass on race on this podcast. I’ve watched the show 12 times all the way through and I see elements of racism but nowhere near what they pretend. It’s only on their brain because it’s on their mind. I wrote into the show to acknowledge this but I was told it was a very small percentage of the podcast. Based on number of times it’s mentioned it is not by a long shot.

Guspan42First Time, Long TimeBeen listening since the beginning and love the podcast! Jason and his hosts do a fantastic job and are very informative. I was hoping he’d be doing the Dead City coverage but alas, it fell to Ben. Ben. What can I say without being mean. He annoys the crap out of me. I wish it wasn’t the case, but if I have to hear about how much time he’s spent in New York and how Macys doesn’t have a street in front of it, I’ll zip line into the Hudson River. He seems like a nice enough guy but I feel if we were talking and I got to my fifth “wow that’s crazy” I’d be off to the sewers to convert myself to methane. Anyway, thanks to everyone and catch you on the flip side.

LisaSperOuch…my ears.I came here for the Silo episodes but have to suggest that unless Amalie (?) can use professional recording equipment that she not participate. The sound quality was so bad that I could barely listen…and it was especially hard to understand her accent with the poor audio. It’s hard enough to listen to Jason’s excessive mouth noises in every episode, but this was just intolerable.

kittychick2Best “‘cast” out there!My love for Jason & his crew is almost as deep as my new love for Pedro Pasquale! Neither me nor my husband are gamers, and might not have watched the show if not for Jason & Lucy’s excitement about it on their “Walking Dead ‘cast.” One week of the show & then the podcast & we were completely hooked! And we love that this podcast makes an effort to not constantly refer to the game, and when they do, it’s in a separate section. Love too that while Jason loved the game, Lucy never played it - giving a perspective us non-gamers can relate too. The deep dive discussions are great, as are the discussions about news/etc. Absolutely worth the listen!

H2Oman RunnerLook elsewhere for insightful commentaryThere are quite a few other podcasts worth the time esp. dealing with The Last Of Us…The Ringer, Crooked Media Xray Vision, and others. To be fair they care as they are strictly uber fans but…show creator Druckman, show runner Craig Mazin and the actors are found elsewhere too which I enjoy more than listening to comments from the pure fan base since it tends to be less objective

Meowface 717Jason and Lucy are superb!I've subscribed to several walking dead podcasts for about a year and this one is my favorite. I have decided to unsubcribe to all the others and except this one and another. Jason and Lucy are so respectful and honest when speaking their opinions. I love and appreciate their integrity about the purpose of a podcast. THey do a great job covering each episode even when the episodes aren't the best-- doing a bang up job playging good cop, bad cop. Thanks for keeping me informed and entertained guys! BTW,I plan to subscribe to Jason's new GOT podcast.

djcrewgrlAmazing hosts with in depth knowledgeI love this podcast! I have not played the video game the show is based on but I am hooked on this show! I love that two of the hosts have played the game and one has not. It is really nice to be in the same boat as host Lucy in that regard. As with all podcastica podcasts, they always bring so much energy and insight into each episode. I love hearing the differences in show vs game. Also appreciate the news segment that keeps me up to date with what goes on with the show. Thank you for all the amazing content Jason! You all rock!

Technician72So negative it’s toxic…As a listener of several Walking Dead podcasts I enjoyed the contrast of this show as they were often critical when others weren’t, but over the years it has led to a downward spiral of negativity where I don’t think the hosts would recognize quality of the show they’re reviewing if it was right in front of them. I’m certain there’s an audience for their constant trashing of the show but I will no longer be a part of it.

I looked forward to your non-TWD podcasts while the shows were on hiatus. For instance, I had never seen Fight Club, but watched it before listening to your podcast and was blown away. I forget the name of the Zoom horror movie, but was glad I listened to your podcast first. I live alone and ultimately decided not to watch it by myself. I have found listening to you like connecting with old friends throughout the pandemic.

I can’t believe I didn’t find this podcast soon. I wish I could have followed with the show as it went on. I have a 45 min. Commute to and from work so I’ve started all the way back to the beginning listening to each and every episode and skipping to the most recent. Can’t wait to follow with the next season. Thank you for making my commute a little easier and not so boring. Keep up the great work.

I think I would listen to this podcast even if I didn’t watch the tv show, it’s that good. They encourage their community of listeners to be involved by writing and calling which they share on-air, there are different segments of the show like “top-five” and “comic talk” which are great, and they’re able to break down episodes of the show in a way that makes the tv experience even more enjoyable, and I love it all. Can’t say enough great things about this pod, highly recommend!
