Perillo is just a contrarian. Needlessly using big words just to sound smarter than Mike which doesn’t seem incredibly difficult. Lifeless show. Go somewhere else.

Absolutely do not recommend listening to patriots unfiltered. Unless you want to listen to unnecessarily loud people who constantly interrupt each other. Listen to the worst takes probably ever imagined. Then after they make an atrocious take they’ll just contradict themselves literally 5 minutes after. If you want to listen to a patriots podcast, just go watch Tom Curran, Greg Bedard or literally anyone else with a brainstem. You will get more coherent and useful info in their 20-30 minute episodes than you will in the hour and half these morons take to get out. You will find them much more like able and entertaining to listen to. Nothing worse than listening to Paul Perillo scream nonsense and then constantly interrupt just to say some more stupid stuff.

The Patriots aren’t a good team right now and it’s safe to say neither is this show. There is very little willingness to interrogate the current decisions with too much time devoted on a week-week basis of analyzing the 2023 patriots. The sentiment in the studio that “people forget how bad last year was” and they need to remind you of this every show at some point. No, i don’t think people forgot 12 months ago and even if they did, how is it more relevant than today?

Listened to this show for years. I really enjoy their in depth coverage. It works well. Paul has been one of the best patriots reporters for years. Mike is a good upgrade from Andy.

This show is like the Pats.. Gone way downhill. Paul was much better with Andy. Evan is the worst. Mike adds nothing. Almost immediately turn it off if they have Tamara on.

Plumpy Pauly was on F&M Monday embarrassing himself once again. In his typical fashion Plumpy Pauly started bashing Mac Jones once again. PLUMPY I can’t wait till the end of the 2026 season when your beloved incompetent Jerod Mayo ! (Did I mention the first African American head coach of the New England Patriots ) gets fired after a 18W-33L record along with MY DADDY SAY GO THE GREEN BAY WAY Elliot Wolf. And who ever the third OC and DC are. So PLUMPY I’ll be there at opening day of camp for the 2027 season to remind you and Patriots fans the last time the Patriots played in a playoff game was 6 years ago and the QB was that’s right PLUMPY PAULY it was MAC JONES and the coach well that would be Bill Belichick PLUMPY PAULY. All the hosts are good. They are all Patriots fans but give honest takes about the team good or bad.

This is a waste of time. The episodes are way too long. They are close to 2 hours. It’s so weird too that they often take lunch during an episode. Additionally, some of the hosts provide little to no insight like Tamara Brown.

This podcast has set such a high bar for me in terms of sports media and entertainment. Been listening for almost a decade now

Been listening for years. Love the characters. Paul’s memory and snark. Fred’s unwavering fandom. Mike was a great addition as well though I do miss Erik. The addition of Evan really gives the show a new dynamic and I love learning more about the game I love. Evan is a favorite!! I look forward to every episode. Big fan guys keep up the good work! Fred and Evan are the best! Mike and Paul are great also. In my opinion you should build around Mac and if it doesn’t work take a shot at a veteran QB in the 2025 off-season.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for about ten years. At first it took a little adjusting because a former cast member, Andy, was hilarious but argued about EVERYTHING. The current cast is great to listen to. The discussions get heated but they’re still good. The off season shows are my favorite because they go off on these awesome tangents. Also you really do get a great behind the scenes look. Paul is my favorite host, the guy has a mind like a steel trap. If you like the Pats or are simply a football fan, do yourself a favor and add this show to your list.

Better patriots weekday content then whatever is on the sports talk radio. I didn’t like Evan when he joined but have really grown to enjoy his Xs and Os, nerdy, but confident analysis. I get that they want a female voice but there’s gotta be someone better than Tamara who really only interjects with irrelevant discussion, questions that have been covered or high level points

You can get EL on Catch 22 and patriots.com. The rest is just 98.5. Don’t waste your time.

This is such a great podcast! I’ve listened weekly for about 15 years now and It’s consistently entertaining and informative. This is by far the best Patriots centric podcast out there.

You get a little bit of everything on the show. Miss Andy but show is still going strong. Best place to get banter that range from the patriots to wishing a coworker was eaten by an animal.

Fred, Paul, Mike, Evan and the rest of the gang give the most in depth and truthful take on the team you will find. For true fans. Unsurpassed in the market.

Been listening to the pod and live show for 15+ years. Never miss it. Fred, Paul, and crew have become family. It’s the best Pats football analysis around, as well an entertaining and often silly fun time. Duss, Evan, Alexandra, and Tamara have also become great and necessary addition the crew. In season, the three shows a week are required listening for any true Pats fan!

Tamera Brown is the only problem and thank god she isn’t there every episode. Whether she just tries to cut in when people are talking or her having to do mhm after everyone else is talking so she is heard it’s just so annoying. Definitely five stars without her though!

This show has been a favorite of mine for many many years. It’s gone through many changes in that time (Fred and Paul have been in since the beginning with many others rotating in and out). I LOVE the camaraderie and history between everyone - hosts and callers alike. I love that Fred and Paul have their opinions but also value the fans opinions - they rarely put anyone on blast. They aren’t afraid to be silly or funny (see the off-season shows if you don’t believe me) and it’s just a great way to spend some time catching up on the Patriots. Thanks for doing what you do Fred!

Paul gets worked up and “worried” about all these things that didn’t happen but that he assumes ‘could’ have happened (like taking K White at 17). I understand being jaded after so many years covering one team but Paul is so negative ALL THE TIME it’s tough to listen to!

Been listening since 2006. Easily the most entertaining and informative podcast I’ve ever heard. The additions of Tamara, Mike, Evan and Alex are excellent, but the show is nothing without Fred and Paul. A must listen for any Pats fan. The only complaint I have is that the show should be every day!!

I’m an “older lady” who has followed and enjoyed football since I was a young teenager. I have always wanted to learn more about the game. Mixed between the various conversations of “do rivers have tides.”, debate about Miracle Whip and Mayonnaise, etc. I have picked up nuggets of football information. I enjoy all the different personalities, and don’t miss a show. Adding Evan to the show is a big plus. I’ve listened to so many episodes, you feel like family. Thank you for being there all year. Will look forward to continued enjoyment.

Edit: ‘teddy knott’ - sit down. Extremely high quality and great conversation, but too many advertisements. Though I’m coming off of exclusively amateur podcasting and old school talk radio so what do I know.

Podcast is overall entertaining. Paul’s aggression gets a little tiresome sometimes. Evan comes across as arrogant like a back seat driver in a Formula one race who has no professional driving experience.

Really enjoy the consistency

I’m always amazed at the number of people who are paid to watch write and talk about sports yet don’t have a clue what they’re talking about. These guys are what I’m talking about. They get names wrong, they’re days late on news, no insight whatsoever. Callers call with questions, they have no clue. They talk amongst themselves and say, I wonder if, does anyone know, what might happen if, I don’t know, maybe we should ask….absolute no value added by these dummies. The average guy at the bat offers more.

PU has been having a cast problem for a while now. The core of Fred & Paul has carried hard. Mike is a fantastic addition. Tamara is great whenever she’s actually there. MOB wasn’t good. But Alex is terrible. She should be on a Celtics or a dog podcast. She has no real passion/interest for the Patriots & its obvious. I bet she’ll be gone in a year or two since it seems she’s using this as a resume boost.

I miss Eric but like Tamara and Alexandra. It is nice for women sports fans to hear from other women. And of course I like Paul, Mike, and Fred.

Mike and Fred are great but Paul pretty much ruins everything by talking over them and patronizing everyone. I know other people are annoyed with Paul also he has to go if they want to keep their listeners

I haven’t missed an episode of the podcast for a few years now. It’s been fun to have news about the Patriots broadcasted two or three times weekly and it is appreciated. What isn’t appreciated is the blatant rudeness, interrupting, and negativity that Paul brings every single episode. Whether it’s yelling over one of his co-hosts or perhaps rudely destroying a caller or emailer’s contribution with his only point ever being “that’s not what I think, therefore it’s wrong.” I may stop listening to be honest because it’s just not very fun to be ridiculed or have a seemingly angry and negative man yell into the mic for two hours. All you have to do is listen to Mike on the show. He’ll be making a point, Paul jumps in and interrupts in the middle of Mike’s statement and Mike just tails off. I swear you can hear him exhale heavily in annoyance. If I worked with Paul, I’d fell that way all of the time.

I’ve been listening to the show for 10 years. It’s always my go to podcast for the Pats. And I swear: Fred gets funnier every year. A must listen. Edit: I love the addition of Evan Lazar. Hope he becomes a regular part of the show.
