MattZipThe Karen Brady of podcastsThere are a million better causes people should be supporting right now rather than a football podcast with a gambling sponsorship. It’s pathetic to hear you beg for Patreon donations on the pod and social media the day after football is paused; almost as pathetic as doing 12 shows making fun of bald people cuz it got you a few quid. Paying your rent for a month or two because you over-invested in video for an audio medium should not be anyone’s priority. You have become the thing you sought to mock — classless and insufferable.

Kane KSStay In Your Lane (Also get rid of Peter)I have been enjoying this podcast for many years. Unfortunately, as they have grown it has gotten a little weird at times. The say they shouldn’t be taken too seriously but definitely have no problem getting serious about selective political and social issues. I don’t listen to this show for that nonsense. For some reason, I find Peter to be particularly irritating. He says some of the most idiotic things. He might be trying to be funny but it just comes across as weird for the sake of being weird. As soon as I find out he is in an episode I turn it off.

Latimes2020-Fantastic show about the sport of football… But these guys are absolutely and completely clueless about US politics. Should lay off that fellas

MazerReedUnsubbedI used to enjoy this show, and maybe if I wasn’t an Arsenal, Fulham, West Ham supporter I would still enjoy it. But there has been anti Arsenal sentiment too often. This week one of the hosts said something to the effect of “Arsenal have been awfully quiet” about the fact that they scored in the NLD on a corner that should have been a goal kick. It felt very “I told you so” or “Arsenal Supporters are hypocrites”. I didn’t like it. When the analysis gets beyond the team and to the media narrative I have to tune out. I get that everyone has their opinions on these things, and that not everyone sees the PGMOL controversies the same way, but the offhanded way that that was said, especially because it wasn’t presented in the context of any chance Arsenal or Arsenal pundits have had to call it out, it’s just an annoyance that I’ve grown tired of. It just felt like they went out of their way to insult (indirectly) me, and those that think similarly. Anyway. I enjoy most of the shows but these little jabs have become too common for me.

Patch CrawfordAds O’ PLENTY (get that skip forward button handy)Good well-rounded England-centric podcast. This podcast is all over the place and provides you with a pretty good idea of what’s going on in the world of football at the time of the pod. HOWEVER, it’s like 2 to 3 minutes of ads to start the podcast and two or three ad breaks just as long throughout.

thecoolkid202My favorite part of the morningThe football ramble is legitimately my favorite part of the morning in and out of the season on release days. I’ve listened to the entire back catalogue as well. I can say that: -even though I follow 7 other football related podcasts in English, 3 in French, and 3 in Spanish -I am an French/American Chelsea fan (a pre-Abramovich fan at least) who never gets tired of listening to them take the piss out of the club -I’m not going to be able to go to the live show even if this review wins the raffle —>still my favorite podcast, across genres, no competition.

floydboi777These guys keep me saneReally
-
LinteknaInformative and EntertainingI like letting this pod play in the background while they ramble on and erupt in spontaneous cackling. Mr. Hartlepool, Pete Donaldson, is and the gang are especially hirlarious. I actually discovered this podcast from listening to Abroad in Japan.
-
Black n White stripesBrit in YankeelandThe Ramble is the perfect mix of solid football analysis, sarcasm, joking, banter, and downright oddness through Pete. The euro stuff with Brassell and co. Is an added bonus, and i love listening to them and their views
-
RejaeiLove the showThanks for all your work throughout the Euros!
-
Andrew K FFCSuch a laughGreat analysis, and that wonderful breed of humor that can turn around your day. The international tournament coverage is particularly special - no-one does it better.
-
StHelenaSaintNever Miss an EpisodeAs a fan of the EPL, I enjoy hearing the perspective of Brits who live and breath the game. Great discussions on players, coaches, and tactics.
-
Irishken808Best football pod out there.Simply the best general prem football pod. Good mix of banter facts and opinion. No matter how wrong they tend to be. lol.
-

maykent2626Simply the best……”soccer” podcast going. You will not find another that so expertly mixes absurdity, insight and humor. Your funniest, sharpest friends bantering about the sport, almost every day of the week. Been listening for about ten years and still laugh out loud and learn something new every episode. As an American listener can I make a personal request for you guys to do more American accents. Marcus’s impression of your tour booker (“Milwaukee’s nice but it’s not like you gotta go theah”) still makes me lol. Oh also guys, why the complicated grammatical variations of “what’s good for your club is not necessarily what’s good for the ramble”? It’s simple: “what’s bad for your club is good for the ramble.” Print it on a hoodie and take my money.

LindsayRoseElizLove!My new favorite football pod.
-
irrelevantperson1Genuinely the bestIn a world of horribly biased major media and literal children, the Ramble stands far ahead of the rest. Kings, I tell you.
-
brskyrmeFun showAlways an enjoyable listen - manages to be lighthearted without becoming annoying. Would be 5 stars if they dropped the occasional attempts at political commentary.
-
CupOfDaddysLoveBeen listening for years.Been listening for years and always will. Love the ramble.
-
accevrbntngmhPhil NevilleAs a listener in the States, I think most just think a Neville is a Neville. Like all with accents must be Australian. Top o the morning to ya!
-
h0gwinIt’s A Moral DetritusBeen a listener since 2008 (not long after Pete joined) - it’s been my favourite podcast ever since. I was 22, now I’m 37, time flies. They’ve managed to adapt and change the format a few times and I think right now they’re on top form. Changing back to a 4 person pod (instead of 3 which they did for a bit) was such a good move and they all have great chemistry together. I’ll always love it but they’re in an especially good groove right now. RambleForce hooooooo!!
-
J3T3LIncredibleFantastic work by the whole crew across each show - we’ll worth the Patreon subscription!

RHURLEY79Kate Mason the worst? How do you downvote a review? That wanker that says Kate Mason is the worst should simply not be allowed to be on the internet anymore. Kate is brilliant. The only way Kate could be any better is if she had a little more of the sailor’s tongue, like Jules. It’s obvious that Marcus is the absolute worst. People’s champ? With THAT amount of arrogance? I think not. He’ll be lucky if Vish lets him anywhere near Luke’s Game again. Also, Marcus is great.
-
Clayzinho_The Ramble changed my lifeNot only have I learned valuable life lessons, such as constructive criticism from Luke or how to travel in Spain from Andy, I have also learned the importance of always keeping them guessing (Pete - obviously). Vish taught me how to anger the whole nation of Australia, and Jim taught me that you are allowed to punch some (Chelsea) while they’re down. The only downside is that if I don’t listen until Saturday I legally have to be at work on my day off, since the weekend doesn’t start until Marcus says it does.

MyattomeFavorite Football PodcastMy giddy aunt this is a fantastic EPL podcast! As an American following the premier league it provides excellent insight into the league that I’d otherwise miss out on. They have a great collection of personalities with unique backgrounds/ viewpoints. I always look forward to listening each day for a few good laughs for a great break from otherwise bleak new cycles. Thank you gents for all that you do!
-
isaiahfkMy favorite podcastThis is my favorite podcast! Such great content so frequently. Started listening about a year ago and totally obsessed. Thanks to the gang!
-
mdove11Best Well-Rounded Football PodcastWe’ve come to know this show as the funniest football podcast for years but Ramble crew are true pundits with some absolute nerd brains that have this podcast hitting at all levels. Quick to find the humour in the game but never shy in speaking truth to power and hypocrisy. It’s the style I need in this day when the game is simultaneously dynamic and problematic.
-
markcreWorth a listen…Great listen but miss Kate and Jules. Replacement needed! Luke’s contribution is excellent over the last few months and Andy is always great.
-
juanjz89Sit down, Drink Water and RelaxI’ve been listening since 2021 and have been addicted since then. After watching football on the weekend, especially EPL, this is the best way to recap everything with humor and insight. It really feeds my need to recount the games with others. Especially fond of the ‘On the continent’ segment now as well to stay in touch with the rest of Europe. Keep it going! And thanks for the laughs on my long commutes!
-
Footy JediAnother Brit PodcastJust like the rest, seems fine for Brits to accept horrid, murderous, oppressive regimes buying their clubs. Brexit to keep away from the world, but then allow the crap world to buy their islands. And then report on it like it is fine. Thanks, Ramble. Just a few words about sport washing. Just stop reporting on these horrible owned clubs completely. Small population of people will be upset and the massive world will be happier.

EhPeaFun & informativeBeen listening since the early days and I do recommend Football Ramble to people all the time. It’s fun and truly funny in a way most football pods aren’t but they have a great lineup who are smart enough to give you good information. Give it a try!
-
Gavin TaylorI look forward to every epDon’t ever stop your insightful, fun, engaging fountain of football chat.
-
hayescreechFriday pre-Prem weekend essential listeningThe Preview Show on Fridays is a must-listen for any Premier League fans. Perfect balance of insight and humor, and the games at the end are always the best!
-
mattgiglioThese are my friends nowGreat show, really gets to how beautiful and likely unsustainable all this football is.
-
bwiscFavorite show by far!Started listening to this show with my dad when I was 12, I’m now 26 and love the show as much today as when I first heard it. Quality analysis, hilarious banter, but most of all… it keeps the game fun, as it was always meant to be.
-
Tom FornelliSimply the bestThe only problem I have with the show is they take Saturday and Sunday off, leaving my weekend with a gaping hole in its soul.
-

MRC.99“Ramble on!”Love this podcast. Great chemistry. Progressive in every sense of the word. So grateful for your work and for Stakhanov productions. Hopefully, there will be a documentary about it all, one day.
-
Denis BrosnanBest football podcast out thereI started off as a casual listener and two years later I’m all in. It’s the best pod out there in terms of football and day-to-day entertainment. The panel has become like family to me. They clearly all really like each other and they let you in on their personal lives in addition to providing really smart, pertinent football analysis. Ramble On everyone. You won’t be sorry!
-
inatty84Like no otherThe only football podcast you’ll need.
-
Steven J.T.Wonderful Podcast! This is definitely my favorite non-Spurs specific football podcast! The presenters are simultaneously informative, hilarious and at times appropriately juvenile. They have helped me through many dark months as a Spurs supporter with quite a few laughs through their superb banter! It’s so good that I even listen to all the episodes during the international break.
-
DabrutKate terrible hostThe podcast is quite fun in general…except when Kate is hosting it which happens a lot lately (4 times last week). Why not try rotating with other people? It was fun when Pete hosted for 2 days.
