Batman Adventures Podcast

During Mutual Radio broadcast of "The Adventures of Superman", starting in 1945 Superman and Batman, years before their comic book collaborations, really became a functioning team. But largely the team-up of Batman, and Superman provided some time off for an overworked Bud Collyer (Superman). These episodes called for Superman to be occupied elsewhere, and the crime fighting would be handled by Batman. Stacy Harris played Batman in this first team-up with the Man of Steel, and Ronald Liss was Robin. Batman and Robin returned several times over the years, usually with Matt Crowley as Batman and Ronald Liss always played Robin. Now,listen to Batman on the Radio and Movie Serials from the 1940's.

    Decent audio books
They are decent audio books for the many Batman novels. They need to do a better job of introductions to the tile of each episode to clarify the content. I was greatly disappointed when I came to the The Under-dwellers episode. Claiming it as theirs own production but I know for a fact that it is a complete plagiarism of the episode of the same name from the Batman Animated Series (Season 1, Episode 6.)

There is an “r” missing in the title on the graphic
Just thought someone should fix that.

I enjoyed it more then I thought it.
I have only listened to kingdom come so far, but those episodes alone were very well done. I didn't have any of the issues the other reviewers mentioned. The flash has speed up speech but, I'd expect that.

    Good but...
This is good if you listen to the superman crossover at the beginning the problem is that the series at the top is disturbing because it seems to be a child porn/abuse awareness series.

    contrary to 123mom4
it's a perfect family podcast, contrary to 123mom4. it's not about child porn or abuse. Robin's name is Richard John Grayson, and the nickname for that is Dick. that's just what it is. and it IS an action podcast, so there are going to be flying fists. just not as many as you would think. there ARE a few technical difficulties, but i just fast forward through them. all in all, i think it's great. 123mom4, no offense to that, i just really didn't want anyone to pass up a great podcast. i know it kinda offended me when i read your review, simply because i'm a huge batman fan. no hard feelings. get it. it's free, anyways. :D

Why is this a Top Batman Podcast?
When I type in Batman in iTunes, I expect to find some quality podcasts. Listed currently as number 2 Batman podcast, I find iTunes to have a problem. There are a lot of other Batman podcasts that are more informative and interesting. These have technical issues and sometimes never actually complete. Not in my Top 5 Batman podcasts, much less my Top 20.

podcasts continue to be defective ...
The podcast of Part 4 of "The Ultimate Evil" is defective, just as the initial podcst of Part 3 was (Part 3 was later re-podcast in a corrected form). I hope someone sees to this problem. This is an excellent podcast in terms of content, but care is lacking in uploading the episodes. Good intentions; sloppy execution.

great podcast with serious technical issues
I've loved the Utlimate Evil, although it's very serious in subject matter and by no means light entertainment. Episode 4 also has serious tech issues and becomes unintelligible at the 8 minute mark, same as the first ep 3--hope they upload a clean replacement soon. If not for the tech issues, this would be a 4 or 5 podcast.

Mixed bag, but worth a listen
I love old-time radio, and this podcast doesn't disappoint... for the most part. Skip Dr. Bylthe: Batman is an inferior to Superman (which we all know is not true), and his role is minimal. Robin has a bigger part. However, the Great Mystery is very entertaining, and the UIltimate Evil is excellent. Keep 'em coming!

    entertaining, but want more episodes
I have enjoyed what I have heard so far, but where are the episodes to finish up the most recent story line?

    Awsome, but problematic
I love this collection of batman radio plays, but there are too many techincal issues. The episodes some times skip back to the beginning, streatching the legnth of a 25 minute show into more then an hour and 5 minutes. That in some strange growling that pops up every now and then knocks this show down a few points
